- The Feast of the Purification commemorates the offering of Our Lord as a sacrifice to God the Father. In the Catholic Church, when a young man offers himself as a cleric, he imitates the offering of Our Lord and accepts God as His only reward. And it is in this offering of self that a cleric finds meaning in his life, one that is lived for God, whom he loves.

A most pious sermon on the Gospel! May we indeed consider the complete offering of self for His Glory and our Salvation.

I know that many people criticize the SSPX, both "progressives" and, unfortunately, people who define themselves as traditionalists. But this sermon seems to me to be one of the most passionately Catholic sermons I have ever listen. It should be preached in every parish in the world, not just to seminarians, but to all the faithful.
It is said "by their fruits you shall know them."

Thank you so much Father. I just love your homilies. When I was in Kansas for the conference last year I signed up to be priest prayer warrior for priests every single day and to do holy hour on the first Thursday of the month. I am so honored to pray for priests. I feel closer to God as a result and so grateful to Him for the institution of Holy Orders. ❤

SSPX, the traditional mass, is CATHOLIC! I WAS RAISED IN THE PROTESTANT SECT OF THE CATHOLIC CHURCH, THE NOVUS ORDO MEAL CELEBRATION. SO GLAD GOD LEAD ME TO HIS CELEBRATION, THE SACRIFICE OF THE MASS! THE MEAL DOES NOT SAVE SOULS. THE SACRIFICE IS ESSENTIAL!
