Fantastic demo! I receive my MZ-X500 today!! I purchased it for composition, designing my own sounds, styles, and phrases....compose on the fly.
I just ordered one. I hope you like it as much now as 6 months ago! ;)
@@roberthanson579 I am having problems. I can't find a volume setting for phrases and samples. IF I switch on velocity it is impossible to control and without velocity it is too loud or soft. Need volumes for these, seems like a simple thing NOT to forget if you are designing a synth.

For the mic input, does it have a Vocoder function? How good is it? Any demo on just the vocoder compared to other such like the Yamaha PSR? Cheers!

I got a job and started earning in 2019 but by that time MZ X500 was not available in India. I was waiting to buy this keyboard since its launch but did not have the budget.
I have a CTK6300IN which stopped working in 2020 and I am still waiting for the MZ X500 til this day!! Its my dream keyboard!! THERE IS NO WORTHY COMPETITOR TO THE MZ X500 AT THAT PRICE POINT I'M STILL WAITING!!

Yes you can use this as a midi keyboard. Even the multi pads will add a whole new dimension to you're recording experience!

Mz x 500 improves with 1.50 updates but is not perfect yet. Will there be 1.51 or 1.60?
