Love these ideas for cute gift ideas. Can't wait to try my hand at making some fun candles 🕯️🕯️Also, thank you for the KB Creations Crafter of the Day shout out ❤️☺️
Another way to put scents and color into your candles is to use wax melts to the candles when you melt the wax, melt the candles and then put the melts into the melted wax, put back in the oven for a few minutes and you have scented candles, easy peasy
I was today years old when I found out that you could hot glue the candle wick to the bottom!!..The heating or hair dryer for sink hole..genius!!...let me back that train up...to melt the candle in the oven..wow..Ive been slow melting them on the stove...greatttttt hacks...love them...thank you
I've never made a candle before, I'm sorry to say. But, after watching you having so much fun, I'm going to try it! I'm also going to find a couple of silicone holiday molds and make some tarts for my tart warmer! Thanks Kelly!
I've been using these for a while, but have never thought to try putting them in the oven to melt!! Thank you so much for the idea, and all of your great ideas. I love your videos and decor ideas! Thanks for all of your inspiration! ❤️
I so enjoy your channel Kelly. As I sat here watching, I thought, is there anything this girl can't do?? Everything came out great. You gave us great, great ideas. My favorite is the sweet snowman ⛄ candle. Thanks Kelly. You always give excellence and enthusiasm. 👏🏻❤️👏🏻
Rub your molds down with a little olive oil before you pour your wax in the cillicone molds and it will pop out easier!! Oh and you can use a qtip to get the oil in the small cracks!!
Kelly, these candles are so beautiful! What great gifts they make. I loved your layered one. I could almost taste the peppermint as I watched you create it!♥️🎄♥️
I made candles for fall and put them in the little ceramic dishes that Dollar Tree is selling. They have some that have Fall pics on them and some have Apples on them. I put orange was and pumpkin scent in the Fall ones and I put the red apple cinnamon in the Apple dishes. They turned out beautiful!
IDK if you tried to release those pumpkins another way outside of the video, but in the video, I noticed you started the release at the leaf part for all 4 of them. Try to start the release from the bigger part and work up to the leaf, so it’s not putting so much pressure on the small leaf section. And if that doesn’t work, just use a match, or lighter, and singe the leaves and press them back on. I loved the layered candles! Thanks for showing us how to melt them without a double broiler, I throw so many used ones away because I don’t want to do the double broiler. I’ll get some wicks and make layered ones now.
Omgosh Kelly, I have been away from here and crafting since March of this year, was diagnosed with esophageal cancer, so have been out of the loop so to speak.. I am doing much better,, and so thankful I saw your candle popost... I love it,, I think I'm going to try this,, nice to be back... love your posts!
Hello Kelly I took a little bit of vegetable oil and rub it around my silicones before putting the candle oil to form a pumpkin and then put it in refrigerator about 15 minutes it turned out good unfortunately my granddaughter cat broke them climbing when she came to stay for the summer from that point I said no more candles I will make i thought you did an awesome job on all your crafts shows and I love the story you put behind your crafting and where you brought them so congratulations 🎉 on all your crafting and your hard work I enjoy watching you ❤❤ enjoy your day and weekend and I hope your doing well and your family as well God bless you all
Kelly a lil tip for the pumpkin shaped wax melts try using your heat gun where the leaves/stems broke off heat it up just a lil and pop it back on. 🤷🏼♀️
I just found your sight.. WOW! You have such wonderful DIY! I can’t wait to try so many of yours. I’m from Alabama and so many of your creations will bring my Farmhouse Christmas to life... Starting with CANDLES!❤️
The snowman is adorable! All the candles are so beautiful! Thank you for sharing how to melt them! The pumpkin melts are amazing, sorry the stem and leafs, kept coming off!🧡🍁💛🌻
Kelly, what about taking your heat gun and slightly heat the end of the leaf on the pumpkin melt and trying to attach it back that way, it may work but just a suggestion.
Does anyone know if Dollar Tree stopped carrying those boxes by crafter's square? The ones with the little pull out drawer that had like butterflies and hearts on them? I can't find them.
Love your idea with leaves on pumpkin trying melt a little and stick leave back on with a lighter I think it would work you are the professional don’t me your awesome love all your ideas thanks judy
I watched a lot of your melting Kendall's when I 1st started watching you and that's always inspired me to Me Too! Go to Dollar Tree instead of paying a $100 price for them This is the 1st time I've saw the layering of different colors I wanted to try and look scared too I realized that you had to let him cry I always wondered how I would keep him from running into the other one And thank you for showing me about how the big hole gets in the middle And what to do about it
My word what message it was supposed to say Jamie the DIY guy made those melts with that same mold but his leafs broke off too he just heated up a litte space and stuck it back on
Love this!! Watching this gave me an idea for coworker birthday gifts for next year!! You have just saved me a lot of time .. ... and money! Sending a huge!! Cyber hug!!
Hey Kelly 💗 new to your channel and so far I’m in love with all your diys. I do have a question I’m not sure if you’ve made a video on this yet if you have i apologize ! Am I able to use your candle melting method and pour into a silicone mold to create new candles ?
Hi Kelly, I love love love all your videos. I have a question...is there any way you can show what you buy from the DT so that when you DIY something we can have the items ready when you upload your video? For the most part when you show your videos I can never find the items in my DT but if you show the items for future use I might be able to find them. Just an idea.

Kelly just a tip. If you spray the molds with pam cooking spray first. Then I think they will just slide out nice, and easy.
Thank you! I've also had problems with this!
Ive found using cupcake pans for melting those candles is easier because they don't tip over as easy
Good night Kelly and thank you for sharing your beautiful ideas
when the leaves/stems break off, try using your heat gun to just warm the part that broke off and restick it to the main body.
I did and it looked terrible 😞
@@KellyBarlowCreations I wonder if a match would apply more specific location of the heat, or just warming it on a hot plate

Love the idea of melting the candles in the oven rather in a pot of boiling water. Thank you for sharing all your creative ideas.
I have not have good luck with the oils.using the wax pieces works better for me for fragrance

A hack for making wax melts in the silicone molds. Spray them with cooking spray before you pour in the wax. They come out easily.
Love the crayon idea! I want to make a candle in a glass mug to look like coffee but was I don’t think dollar tree has brown candles. This is perfect!
Thank you for all the good ideas

What fun simple ideas. Candles are so expensive but by nw
Who would have thought you could do so much with these items ❤❤❤
Rub your molds down with a little olive oil before you pour your wax in the cillicone molds and it will pop out easier!! Oh and you can use a qtip to get the oil in the small cracks!!

If you dont want your red layer to turn the next white layer pink, just pour a really thin layer of paraffin first.
Good idea
You could try to do the pumpkins and the leaves separate for the wax melts and use a lighter or something to melt them together.
Love using candles for diys and gifts. Made a bunch for gifts last year. Thinks for sharing.
Wow! Awesome job on all those beautiful candles.

Ah yes I remember your profile pic! I am glad to hear you are doing better but sorry to hear what you’ve been going through! Hugs to you
@@KellyBarlowCreations you have inspired me to make some candles! Thank you sweetie
Try pulling the pumpkin wax melt out from the bottom so the heavy side isn't still in the mold pulling on the leaves.

Kelly a lil tip for the pumpkin shaped wax melts try using your heat gun where the leaves/stems broke off heat it up just a lil and pop it back on. 🤷🏼♀️
Try spraying your mold with a little bit of Pam before you put the wax and don't let this candle completely set up before removing them from the mold
The snowman candle is so cute

Jamie the day guy made tgr melts and used a lighter to stick the leaf back on but he turned it around so it would lean on the stem!
My word what message it was supposed to say Jamie the DIY guy made those melts with that same mold but his leafs broke off too he just heated up a litte space and stuck it back on

Kelly You are Awesome 👍🏾!
I wonder if it would help to spray the molds with cooking spray?❤
