- One of the greatest break out stars of past decade, Zahara's debut album, Loliwe, sold out country wide in just 72 hours, back in 2011. To date it is classified double platinum with Zahara appearing on stages nationwide.
She joins us live this morning for a very special performance.
This song was composed and sang by Rev Tiyo Soga in 1910 after he had just returned from England were he was part of an unsuccessful delegation that went to representations for a better deal for the African in the Union of South Africa. Beautifully done by Zahara.

Wow! Lizalis'idinga lakho. the song takes me back to my youth days. The song has been sang from primary school, Higher Primary and even in High School. In almost all the Anc rallies in my village in the early 90's this song was always sung together with the national anthem. If I'm not mistaken it's also written by the late Enoch Sontonga.
