Can I ask why you don't use better mic techniques and have the mic at a 45 degree angle? The mic right in front of your face doesn't look great either. I'm just asking, don't mean to criticize your style... I just think it would cut on the plosives .

Nice review. I think I like the smoother sound of the Fifine, but in truth, I like them both.
Got that! Including an external foam cover or pop filter to reject plosives is even better!
