Yep i use benefits to not have to pay taxes i mean if everyone is gonna be stealing my tax money anyways i might aswell keep the taxes of the 200k a year i make and give my church and young white families who are struggling some money instead of economic migrants who abuse our system.
How much money is poured down the toilet of hotels and payments for illegal immigrants? Why are we paying for people who have never contributed so this country?
The demographics have been knackered for a long while now Birth rates fell off a cliff, which is why the borders in most of the west have been thrown open. Problem is, immigrants move in, adapt to the country and their birth rates drop to the same, so it becomes a constant stream. Add in the split families problem, more houses are needed for more people that live alone/live with kids and no partner. Family with 2 adults in 1 house, split family with 2 adults need 2 houses. Housing costs rise due to supply and demand. It's why costs have risen in Scotland, even though Scotland's population flat lines. Can ignore immigration as a cause here, so it's easier to see the family housing need changes
@@geraldandrew3289 Immigrants move in, 1st gen might have more kids, 2nd gen onwards their birthrates drop to pretty much average. Borders are open because the birthrates aren't high enough. Immigrants move in and end up on the same birth rates. Becomes a constant need to strip mine the 3rd world of their youth, to maintain our worker base. With all the infrastructure problems that comes from importing 20yr old workers instead of 20yr lead times to plan/develop the infrastructure needed to support the population. We don't have the 20yr planning as kids grow, to work out what we need for them as adults, we just import them and the systems falling apart
@@johnnycarrotheid have 'we' incentivised a certain 'personality' type? Have we encouraged some to have lots of kids while other working couples just cannot afford it? It`s not nice driving to work on a hot day to work in a steel forge and see there lot wondering about in new cloths. Who thinks that is OK most likely does not work themselves.
@@damianbutterworth2434 Well don’t worry. You will probably be joining them soon, knowing this government. Hope you enjoy it, because it will possibly be for the rest of your life.
How do they do this scamming and end up with stacks of cash. Ask you bank for £1000 cash and you would have a battle to get it. But 50 million the mind boggles.
I'm more concerned about the illegals being given money and rooms in 5 star hotels having done nothing for either. Meanwhile ex military are sleeping on the streets and families are living in mould ridden property.
The migrants and benefits as a lifestyle choice shouldn’t be either or. Both issues matter. Just deflecting from the convo when frankly GB news talk more about the migrant issue than anyone else.
And the wealthy politicians with their expenses to employ help (often a family member who never actually does any work) and free second homes etc. Why not cut the royal budget and the massive wages of the reporters making these videos.
100% agree.. plus those illegals and legals who claim for family that aint even in this country... less of these twats in this country then the tax wont go up as much...
We are screwed! How can this continue?...the young generations struggle to start a families and find somewhere to live while new arrivals bleed the country dry!
it is a saddened state, I try to motivate myself but find it difficult when others are appearing and given benefits that have never contributed, we used to have motivation to earn a living and do things for our country but when thy do nothing for us and hey shift the goalposts when you get ahead a bit. But you want to give it to losers who want to milk the system. At least the immigrants have an excuse, its in their nature, what is the excuse for your native population?
Same, I worked from age 16 to 35 and now have a disabled child. I want to be here for him, and I have paid taxes. I have no issues with genuine cases. What I do begrudge is people that have contributed nothing coming here and getting everything handed to them.
@@andaracat735 thank you for staying home and looking after your child, only a parent can look after a child properly. Please don't forget your worth you are saving me thousands by staying home if you weren't their the tax payer would have to pay for health cear
It's not just that, they've increased the national minimum wage but haven't changed the amount you are allowed to earn before benefits are deducted so they can pay you less. They've also increased the amount they expect you to earn to over £700 per month, again so they can deduct even more of your monthly benefits. All this while they continue to hand out hotel rooms, houses and cash to illegal freeloaders that are swarming in over the English channel. Funny how Moggy didn't mention that.
So Ur rents went up £28 and Ur benifits has went up £7? So Ur better off each week as has been said u don't pay rent it gets paid for u so doesn't matter how much it goes up then? But if u work full time and Ur rent goes up u need to find that money? Anyone who works should always have a better standard of living than anyone on benifits.
Many are led to believe that EVERYONE ON BENEFITS GETS ALL OF THEIR RENT AND COUNCIL TAX PAID FOR. There are those who are on benefits that don't get their full rent paid and have to top it up out of those benefits and expected to pay full council tax which comes out of those benefits as well. It all depends on their circumstances.
I've not as yet been out of work or claimed benefits. However, It is not right that English Scots Welsh Irish should work and keep the country going when so much money is spent on illegal migrants who get everything put on a plate for free .seriously appalling in my opinion.
@douglasmurphy3794 they sure found spots for the vets and homeless when the lockdown hit so it just shows they utterly don't care because their is no human right conventions for our own suffering, but there is human rights for the people that hate us.
That’s why they keep putting the retirement age up to pay for all this I’m retired I’m fit enough to do a job but won’t they just tax me more if you can afford not to work don’t
Rishi saying that the average salary in the UK is £35k is complete BS. its like a factory owner earning £120k and he pays his 09 staff £22k each and claiming his companies average wage is £35K.. completely fudging numbers. the majority of uk workers are earning approx. £22k, NOT £35K.
Comes down to what you mean by average. I think the £35k figure (or numbers in that area) are mean wages (so all the wages added up divided by total number) whereas the median (lining up everyone in order of increasing wage and choosing the middle value) is more like the figure you quote (think it might be around £23-24k mark). I suspect there's fudging going on as well, but it's politicians playing on the idea that the average is the same as the middle, when for wages it definitely isn't.
Lies dam lies and statistics, entitled public sector taking more than their fair share , economic growth is the answer, stop immigration and instigate mass deportation
I mean did anyone expect otherwise the man lives in bubblewrap gets driven round in armoured car on 170k a year plus benifits wears a mothercare suit and we thought this man knew about reality.
@caromaro591 really bills what bills that thay have to pay out of the unvicel credits and three rent and same has you do out of your wages so no thay don't have a load of money to play with and for your information do your research before jugeing all people on benefits low life's like the gonvment want you to think thay are people pay their rent and unttil bills just has much has the next person some thoes people your talking about don't have other people to relie on and all so there is all so working people on universal credits who need top ups
Don't give benefits to people not born here before you attack people that were.. Some people can't help being on PIP etc... Also some minorities are claiming for people that are not even in this country etc...
When a struggling UK Worker earns about £1,700 a month after Tax. Then he pays his £850 Rent,...leaving him £900 to last a Month. Then he pays £120 Council Tax / Utilities £190 , Food £160 a person / £150 for Transport /£25 phone, £25 internet / Eating out £40,.... leaving just £140 to survive the WHOLE Month. 1 Emergency can push the person to Mental Health Breakdown.
And your solution is what exactly? Reduce his tax bill? We will lose more public services. Cut council tax? We wont have street lights or bin collections. Reduce his rent? Landlords will sell up and there will be less houses to rent. Reduce food costs? Inflation will push everything else up. The ONLY solution is for people to gain more skills and earn more money, I do not even understand how this is up for debate.. Welfare state bred a bunch of losers, thank Christ I am not one of them. If a government has to top up your wages from work because you can’t afford to live that’s a failed system government’s like people to have the begging bowl out pleading for money something radical has to change with tax system to end this poverty way of living
if you subtract the benefits paid to working families on UC and pensioners it is not that bad. What about illegals draining the coffers. Sick and tired of the poorly paid and sick/disabled along with pensioners being the easy targets. Lots of wrongs there maybe but demonizing the sick n disabled.
If you have a alcohol issue you are on incapacity benefits?? I get tired easily but I still work and pay 20% tax on my merger £12,500 per year annual wage. I've taken on 2 extra jobs and 61 years old. It's about work ethic as well.
@paulrobinson5739Depends on your perspective. There are some who don't look disabled but do have a disability. However, there are those that look disabled but actually aren't.
Some people are lazy but most people have simply given up tax tax tax does not incentivise especially when we know our taxes are being wasted. It’s every man for himself these days.
Here is a solution. Stop taken illegal migrants into the country and expecting the tax payer to pay for them. After the covid shots most people are injured and can’t work. I had to give up my job as a NHS nurse of 23 years to look after my husband as he is vaccine injured. He can’t walk far, he has no coordination of his movements, he can’t sit. He is suicidal. So why not do a survey and find out why people don’t work. Interestingly I watched the train pull away and the workers come home in Glasgow. We live in the Southside and it is quite a ethnic area. Apart from 2 people all of them were white.
Hang on a minute, hypocrite Jacob and his mates claim stupid amounts for their expenses amounting to millions when they can afford to pay for their expenses
Yes I agree. There's a couple of guys on YT who explore abandoned buildings. On one occasion they were exploring a big house and halfway through the vid they realised that the lights were on and there were security cameras filming in there. It turns out that the house used to belong to Mogg. This place was as big as a hotel. These people don't know anything about the way ordinary people live.
@@jeffsimon9594 Jacob is one of the few that don't claim expenses because he's rich and does not need to (his words) and if expenses were not available then only rich people like him would be in parliament (also his words)
It’s all MPs, the system allows them to claim expenses, it’s actually very stringent by hmrc what they can claim for after the scandals of people claiming for a house for their ducks etc.
Expense claims exist for a reason. You people have NO understanding of business, yet you will complain when prices go up.. This country is going to hell in a hand-basket..
The question asked "what about the single mum who has 3 kids?" Easy, they shouldn't have had 3 kids and expect the tax payer to pay for them. Get their priorities right, in the first place. Why is it that a lot of people think that they are owed a living. Is there any wonder the country is in such debt as we are today.
The British should get a job and work to pay for immigrants' benefits while the government puts the British people last. Not to mention how hard it is to get a low paid job because of immigrants 😅. Unbelievable.
No you can't blame them. Mass immigration drives down wages so there are often no decently paid jobs for British people. All many of them have to look forward to is being penalised by Job Centre staff and the DWP for not finding a job.
This happens every time an election is looming. I listened to Mogg on this subject and basically the Tories flagship new benefit system is a failure. It was supposed to get claimants doing any sort of work and taper them with support into full time work. I'm a veteran and went on sick in 2010 for knee replacement. The whole process of the system caused me so much stress that I was subsequently diagnosed with PTSD,s and significant complex mental health issues and was never able to work again. Stop spending money on asylum and put it back into our country and invest in building businesses here .......we need to build Britain not destroy it
Nope never work again until you stop the boats I'm not slaving away my short existence for the gov to give it to new comers pfff you pull double shifts and miss your kids growing up and pay for childcare so you can make more money to be given away ill enjoy the sun shine
Yep benefits are nice to not have to pay any taxes until i get my moms inheritance which is millions in assets and her house which i live at right now which will be split into 2
Chris: I absolutely agree with you . . . and I am sure this is the true reason there are so many on benefits. If I still worked, I too would go sick because Why should anybody slog for 40 hours a week (for a pittance) when immigrunts are given posh hotels, money, full board, bicycles etc. etc. Makes me mad and a lot of others, too ☹🤬☹🤬☹🤬
WORK ? WHY would you ??? Earn £100K Pay almost £40K taxes and NI Taxes get squandered on migrants and benefits scroungers I'd rather chill. (NOT ON BENEFITS of course.)
Single person a benefit £84 per week, minus part rent, part council tax , electric, gas, water etc. Far less than the poverty threshold meanwhile 8 million plus a day on illegals. Why are they persisting in calling people on benefits scrubbers ? Of course some are, but the majority are not. Strange no mention Of the Bulgarian gang who managed to claim over 50 million fraudulently from the DWP.

Sometimes the women have to leave a relationship and take the kids with them. Or maybe you think the woman and the kids should stay in an abusive situation so we don't have to pay them any benefits?
@catscan2022 thank God for that eh? the answer is age discrimination why employ an old fogey when they can employ someone younger and fitter i'm 61 and have the same problem as you i apply for loads of jobs never get an answer back they probably just throw my cv in the bin.
Perhaps you need to work on yourself a bit more. I employ people based on attitude and work ethics. The average age is 45. I employ a 74 year old man who runs rings around most of my staff. Mindset is crucial when walking into an interview or presenting yourself in front of a future employer.

I was then asked to go on the night crew, full time, because they liked my work ethic and I was 60. Retired at 67.

That man’s sick benefits are classed as his wages, because he can’t work for one reason or another. So it’s up to him how he spends it. Should he suffer because he can’t work?
When you realise that working for life in a backbreaking job still won't get you a decent home (or a home at all in some cases) it's no surprise. There was a time when the working class could earn enough and have a pathway to owning their own house. Now that's almost impossible.

I feel your pain. I've helped a few people with their claims and I know that the powers that be do everything they can to make it hard for you to get an ESA or PIP award. Some people try for years while they suffer with poverty and pain. People never think that many benefit claimants once had good jobs and paid their taxes, as did their parents and grandparents before them. I know that you and most others would gladly swap their PIP to have their health back.
The people who won't get off their backsides to work when they are capable, have created the humiliation and fraud along with the government for allowing them to get away with it. What was a life line for people like yourself, has been used and abused that it's hard to know who is genuine and who is not. You know you are genuine, that's all that matters. Keep your head up and take care of you. You are who the system was created for, along with many others in similar situations. You have nothing to be ashamed of.
Its time to stop giving long term benefits takers cash, give them a rent voucher, food voucher and Gas/electric voucher. and reduce it by 10% every six months. .Working people should not be paying for booze, vapes/fags, sky and Iphones etc.. I am not talking about disabled or ill people, just the work shy.
Who is earning over two grand a month on universal credit? That's a complete lie and anyone who has been on uc knows this. Half of your uc go's on gas and electric that's before you can even think about food to last for a month 😅

And if you are getting that, then you are on the sick where you don't have to look for work. As for her bills being next to nothing, the only bill that gets reduced is council tax lol. Most people on uc haven't got kids and aren't on the sick and get the minimum to survive.

@SamuelBlack84 the biggest half of this backwards country is in the same situation you are in, my friend. Don't lose hope. You can still achieve greatness. This is what they want they put people in suits on our TV screens telling people how bad they are for being on benefits, acting like it's this amazing life while you struggle to eat its exactly where the system wants you down and out given up on life depressed and under their control because you are dependent on them/taxpayers to pay your bills and then they will tell the taxpayers how they are paying for people's benefits knowing there's not enough jobs for people to just get a job its all done as a way to divide and deflect away from the corruption of our government.
@pillowqueen1624 sir I wouldn't brag that you are basically scamming the system and allowing them to pay for your kids that's not something to be proud of when the majority of the country can't afford to eat 😅. Hopefully, someone from the dwp sees your comments and finds out who you are and makes you pay every penny back.
UK taxpayers has paid out almost £24 billion on jobless migrants who contribute nothing to the economy since 2020. Foreign students also cost £12 billion. Not everyone on benefits is living an easy life. Since 2022 I;ve bad to live of benefits as I was diagnosed with Cancer. Unfortunately I could not get an appointment with my GP during covid and by the time I was diagnosed, the cancer had spread. I was then told I had 9 Months to live. The reason I could not work was because my back had fractured and I had severe mobility issues. I was in and out of hospital as well. Up to this point days off were very rare for me and had been in full time employment since I was quite young. So about 27 Years. I have no doubt some people take the piss however, people like myself have no choice and have had to sell property in order to survive as benefits do not cover living costs.
Nobody cud ever complain about you receiving benefits so don't feel guilty. You have a terminal illness that's been proven and diagnosed, nobody cud expect you to work. I don't think any taxpayer cud begrudge their taxes going to somebody like you. God bless

When the system changed and employers had to offer a pension to full-time workers, pretty much most jobs went to part-time, and a lot of those jobs also changed to zero-hour contracts, I don't even qualify for ANY benefits as my wife works over the threshold as a Nurse, I am in my mid 50's, employers don't want me. I am now over 6 years inactive, Still applying for Jobs, in six years I have applied for over 3500 jobs, and 1 interview for packing shelves, but didn't even get that. I tried working a zero-hours contract once, but never again, you get full hours one week and maybe nothing for the next 3 weeks. no one can live like that especially when you have a mortgage to pay. Both Labour and the Tories promised to ban Zero hours contracts but never did. I have a lifetime's experience working for the NHS and it counts for nothing.
I have seen people have to go to a jobcentre tribunal who cant work and need a little extra support, they get rejected and forced ro be able to work when they pyshicaly cant, yet i see foreigners being giving extra help they domt need playing at it. Have seen it with mine own eyes. And then you have people come here get everything. And also so many of our own veing to lazy to work aswell is bad. Its a total mess. Those that need the help are being dragged into situations they arent ready for, all the while people faking it are getting away scott free. It is amazing indeed.

Morbid obesity is a major problem. Within 100 metres of were I live in Brighton, I know of 6 working age house bound very sick massively fat people and there are probably many more hidden away. Mainly residing in council housing all of them English only one of which works from home. This must be replicated nation wide and I imagine probably with even worse statistics in the north and midlands. All going hand in hand with mental health issues.
Here in the States too. So many of working age are now "disabled" because of obesity and they get a monthly check, and free / reduced healthcare. Electricity reduction or free. Low income housing.. Even doctors cannot tell a patient to lose weight now. That would be offensive. I see men my age (fifties) who weigh well over 300 lbs getting knee replacements paid for by Medical (governemnt healthcare) because of their weight and never told to change their lifestyle.
Nope there's plenty of Jobs out there, it's just being lazy. You don't have to get a standard job there's other business opportunities to get out there. I don't blame any British citizen of any age giving up work and not wanting to be bothered. I'm considering it myself. By the time I pay my countil tax and travel to work it is barely worth working.
People generally choose the path of least resistance, if benefits pay enough to survive then some people will choose that option. You should earn benefits by working, you work 5 years you earn 1 years of benefits etc so it can act as a safety net.
Last financial year: Appropriately 1 billion on Job Seekers Allowance 4 billion on Asylum System 39 billion on Disability Allowance My neighbour has never worked, she claims for a list of disabilities that dont seem to prevent her from walking her dogs, regularly visiting her caravan (which she owns) on the Isle of Wight, she lives in a rented house of which her rent is paid, she has a mobility car. . I know for an absolute certainty that she receives nearly £1900 per month - with no rent, car loan, car tax or insurance to pay. A chunk of that money is for carers or cleaners etc - but she manages perfectly on her own. I wonder how many people are like her - just milking the system? The Asylum budget is bad enough but its the disability allowances that are huge.

How much money is poured down the toilet of hotels and payments for illegal immigrants?
Why are we paying for people who have never contributed so this country?
The country’s in the toilet simple as that, the demographic change, bad politicians and wasteful spending.
The demographics have been knackered for a long while now
Birth rates fell off a cliff, which is why the borders in most of the west have been thrown open.

With all the infrastructure problems that comes from importing 20yr old workers instead of 20yr lead times to plan/develop the infrastructure needed to support the population.
We don't have the 20yr planning as kids grow, to work out what we need for them as adults, we just import them and the systems falling apart

true minimum wage = defacto wage
Comes down to what you mean by average. I think the £35k figure (or numbers in that area) are mean wages (so all the wages added up divided by total number) whereas the median (lining up everyone in order of increasing wage and choosing the middle value) is more like the figure you quote (think it might be around £23-24k mark). I suspect there's fudging going on as well, but it's politicians playing on the idea that the average is the same as the middle, when for wages it definitely isn't.

is that so we pay even more tax to pay for our new neighbours while they sit around and multiply instead? how will there be any jobs if their plan is to give them all jobs?
Be careful how you word your news! Not ALL people on benefits are scroungers so don't tar them all with the same brush!!!!!!
They clearly said time and time again, people which refuse to work.
Not people who can't.
That man’s sick benefits are classed as his wages, because he can’t work for one reason or another. So it’s up to him how he spends it. Should he suffer because he can’t work?
Some of these self appointed spokesmen want anybody disabled, sick, or mentally ill to have nothing at all, they want them to live in total poverty..
When you realise that working for life in a backbreaking job still won't get you a decent home (or a home at all in some cases) it's no surprise. There was a time when the working class could earn enough and have a pathway to owning their own house. Now that's almost impossible.
Rich coming from politicians biggest benefit scroungers going
Oh yea, Ive had 2 back operations one at 18 one at 32, interstitial cystitis from 31, Now aged 43 and with my luxury PIP and ESA income and no prospect of ever working again I’m totally living the dream…………Id love to be fit and well and able to work but as well has having health problems I will have to suffer the humiliation of being made to feel like a fraud and a scrounger for the rest of my life….and Im the one better off??
The social safety net is made for people in your situation. It is the grifters who are able and do nothing that are the problem and focus of the frustration! All the best 👍🏼
All I've ever wanted is to be rich while living my life indulging in all forms of hedonism
That isn't too much to ask, is it?
The people who won't get off their backsides to work when they are capable, have created the humiliation and fraud along with the government for allowing them to get away with it. What was a life line for people like yourself, has been used and abused that it's hard to know who is genuine and who is not. You know you are genuine, that's all that matters. Keep your head up and take care of you. You are who the system was created for, along with many others in similar situations. You have nothing to be ashamed of.
You are not the topic then
The disabled will suffer as usual ,have to jump through hoops to get benefits ,while immigrants come here have loads of kids and get everything free
You just knockrd the nail on the head👏Why should I work when people(😂)come here and thrive on benfits?
Its time to stop giving long term benefits takers cash, give them a rent voucher, food voucher and Gas/electric voucher. and reduce it by 10% every six months. .Working people should not be paying for booze, vapes/fags, sky and Iphones etc.. I am not talking about disabled or ill people, just the work shy.
What a good idea...might make them get off their ass.
Who is earning over two grand a month on universal credit? That's a complete lie and anyone who has been on uc knows this. Half of your uc go's on gas and electric that's before you can even think about food to last for a month 😅
@pillowqueen1624 If she is getting that, then obviously, she has kids, including yours, that she is getting paid for. And if you are getting that, then you are on the sick where you don't have to look for work. As for her bills being next to nothing, the only bill that gets reduced is council tax lol. Most people on uc haven't got kids and aren't on the sick and get the minimum to survive.
@@Jay-nr6mr Imagine having spawn and letting the gov pay for it. I wouldn't even think about having kids unless I had a well paying job...
I get £800 a month. Rent is £500, then there's gas, electricity, TV licence, food, council tax, water...
What I'm left with wouldn't line a dogs water bowl
I worked so hard to try to achieve greatness in this world only to have it sabotaged and torn apart and I'm reduced to this
My magnificence wasted 😡
Mayha Tousi and Nigel reported on this a while ago. It came come Robert Bates Director at the centre for migration control. Why isn’t this a discussion on this.
"Get a job"
Fuckin employ me then.
With that hostile attitude how could they turn you down? 🙄
@@jeffsimon9594 lmao
So true I’ve seen this happen multiple times to the young and WHO are actually being emoloyed right and it ain’t natives to UK
Husband made redundant after working and paying taxes since 16 got a pittance from unemployment not enough to pay bills or eat ,i was on carers allowance, all our small savings gone on bills ,while illegals get free roof, food or money, phone ,Internet ,travel, council tax ,utilities all paid for
That list is bullshit no 9ne I know gets 2200 per month no one they aren't much better 9ff homeless people don't choose to be disabled or mentally ill what about the 9nes who have paid national insurance for years and taxes ect and just have started claiming
Look at the state of that thing 😂😂
So do they call this open legs policy?
Up to about 35k a year you're better off on benefits
It will keep going up when you let waster men in who get residency and a life on it while working cash in hand.
Shouldn't be mixing sickness claimants with regular unemployed.
You are who the system was created for. I wish you well.
Nobody cud ever complain about you receiving benefits so don't feel guilty. You have a terminal illness that's been proven and diagnosed, nobody cud expect you to work. I don't think any taxpayer cud begrudge their taxes going to somebody like you. God bless
Oh my Lord, I am sorry to hear your story. ❤❤❤ This life can be so cruel !!!! I wish you well and some kind of magic to come for you to get healed. ❤❤❤❤
The migrants getting housed fed and getting tax payers money is the more pressing subject.
If national minimum wage matched inflation. It would be at £22 an hour.... that's how far away we are... the £1 in that blokes mothers day was worth £1... £1 today is worth about 2p in real terms and that's why a house cost over £100,000 these days and crumbles withing 5 years of being built.... we were 1st told homelessness was a choice.. now there telling you benefits is a lifestyle choice.. there always needs to be an enemy.. this country that country these people those people.. the classical devide and conquer and the vast majority of the public take the bait. Your neighbours aren't the problem. Corrupt govenrment and corperate elites are your enemies. Not your poor countrymen and woman! UNITE and make a stand against tyranny and oppression!
The spineless dullards of this pathetic nation would never have the guts to rebel
I've never understood why it's our job to foster and care for every immigrant across the world?
Why is their welfare suddenly our problem?
Can you let me know how to scam the system please 🙏 I am English best of luck to them 🙏🙏🌞🙏🙏👍👏
Not everyone can have a job that’s not humanly possible blaming the disadvantaged minority for our country’s economic problems is a low blow!
Mp's free house free lecky n gas free lunche's. Blame the poor whilst riding the gravy train. And thats tory or labour
All politicians are on benefits. They call it expenses.
Scrap the benefit system. Some people are just pure bone idle and lazy.
As a single white man I know there's no point in even trying to get on the housing ladder. There's many like me - there's no hope.
Yank here, I was shut out of the housing market in California back in the 1990's. I feel you.
A man’s minimum wage must be high enough to support 5 people, his wife and three children.
Families require a home and an apartment is NOT a home.
Why 3 children?
@@JAMESLOONEY-kd1nu average birth rate of 1.9 is not sustainable. Or maybe more immigrants are the answer?
@JAMESLOONEY-kd1nu Two isn’t growth
@laurafulton7023 even 3 is not growth as some people won't have children. Enjoy your weekend
Couldn't have put it better myself
benefits should be MAXIMUM HALF MINIMUM WAGE for 1 year!
SHOULD be made to work for it, if they don't turn up dock the money they will soon change their minds and illegals should not be given anything but the basics ie tents and food from mobile vans no benefits and see how long it takes to clear the country
They have money to spend on their nails, tattoos, etc. However, it's a poor excuse. At the end of the day, it isn't how it used to be. It's truly laziness. Scrap benefits for those who have never worked force them out to work. No excuse and don't blame everyone else. Single mums who have had 3 kids from most likely 3 different dads. Fed up with their faults, choices and we who work to pay for their lifestyles. I don't want to pay for someone else's kids
my partner worked in a care home 10 years, the care home closed down and she was made redundant.. she has been applying for jobs for months, shes applied for hundreds of jobs and every response is "unfortunately after reviewing your CV"..... what choice does she have but to go on benefits
Is she NVQ qualified? Agencies are bringing carers in from Africa. We need carers. Try the hospitals.
that's surprising as there is severe shortage of carers.
Most do cash in hand jobs as well, win win.......And who wants to pay it out in taxes for government to waste on migrants ECT
Most do cash in hand work! What % of the 3.9 million work cash in hand?
There are millions of working poor in this country. Both i and my mrs work full time never claimed a penny get taxed on everything my son just been told he will get half the money for his uni accommodation because his parents work. The whole system is a joke.
Work hard all your life to be told o you can’t retire yet keep working. Then people comeing in on boats get free benefits . Don’t blame people
I don't blame any British citizen of any age giving up work and not wanting to be bothered.
Despite how much we complain about the level of minimum wage, Britain still has net migration of 750,000 a year for some reason?
Last financial year:
Appropriately
1 billion on Job Seekers Allowance
4 billion on Asylum System
39 billion on Disability Allowance
My neighbour has never worked, she claims for a list of disabilities that dont seem to prevent her from walking her dogs, regularly visiting her caravan (which she owns) on the Isle of Wight, she lives in a rented house of which her rent is paid, she has a mobility car.
Motability cars cost are taken from benefits, insurance still has to be paid it is not free..
@kerrybayton8356 Yes you are right - her mobility car comes out of her mobility allowance but insurance, tax, and maintenance is definitely included.
how dose he get that much as a person on universal credit i only get 665 a month for my rent and all other stuff like i say how is this person getting over 2k when most of us on benefits dont get anyware near that
He's Romanian.
That was not real, it was a tongue in cheek skit about what the majority believe people on benefits get and do with their money...someone who chose that as an item on here didnt research properly
Wow! you get more for rent than I get from the state pension. I stayed at home until my kids were at school and were old enough to be left a couple of hours until got home from work. So I didn't have enough contributions for a full pension.
Some people are unemployable, some of these go on to be MPs.
Oh yeah, definitely people on benefits making this deficit and not the very large corporations not paying their tax, or indeed MP's cheating the system for personal gain
Or 8mill a day for Dingy divers 5 * hotels!!
Can you remember that clever mp years ago tried to live on 30 pound and couldn't. Like to see you lot living on what we do in North. Mogg is talking out of his b hasn't got a clue
you pay into a system all your working life. the service is owned by the tax payer. people should get more
