I watched to the end while I stitched on my own project. I ❤ Thomas Kincaid’s paintings.

When I watch you stitch diagonally I always want to do it too. Even though I've tried it and it doesn't really work for me LOL.
This is coming along quickly. 30% already! 🥳

Ahaha. I know what you mean. I think it's a flosstube thing. Happens to me with cross country watching. 😂

I love the organisation of stitching in the diagonal - especially with high confetti but I do tend to cross-country within a block of 10 rows within the diagonal. … so is that a bit of everything 😂🤔

Hey Carla, did you know you can turn the daily stitch count off on PK if it's bothering you. It still counts on the background, so after your stitching session you can surprise yourself😊 🌷🇳🇱🌷

I’ve never worked with multiple threads. Does it make the back tidier? I’ve just started a large project with lots of shading and I can’t get the back neat

The smaller the fabric holes the more difficult it is to keep a neat back. Check out some videos on starting/ending threads neatly (like pin stitch/loop start for example.) That will help.

As a beginner, your project is almost mind blowing to me :-) how many different colours do you use for the pattern?

Hi, this one has around 90 colours, but if you choose a max colour version, colour expansions, or something similar to that, they can go up to around 230 colours.

Just the thought of working on the diagonal does not work in my head. I do a 10x10 square at a time across, otherwise it just gets away from me and I get overwhelmed.
