I just met a boy. He’s super cute and really charming.. we have a lot of the same hobbies. We had dinner together, and he played guitar for me, and I for him. When I left his house, I gave him my guitar pick. What’s sad is..he lives in Italy, and is only visiting America for a few more weeks. I told him to take my guitar pick home with him. The Silent Holocaust in Guatemala happened in the 1980s and has messed up my family a lot. And even before that they were discriminated & stripped from their land by a foreign company (USA). The irony & tragedy reality where the USA is the place of opportunity. It’s only that the way because of all the atrocities it’s done to others to keep themselves on top. Toppling governments. Paying and training groups to make it look like they had nothing to do with the instability of other countries, other ethnic groups. In the forth grade, I met a wonderful women. We will just call her pretty to not give out information. It was the first day of school and it was the year after covid so it just felt so weird with masks on and shield between the desks, but her. She was the most beautiful girl I have ever seen. Her green eyes, glasses, colorful stripes in her hair, her braces, and her style was perfect. I asked her what her name was and it was Pretty so after that we hung out after that, I started feeling feelings for her so I asked her what her sexuality was, she was a pansexual. Than she asked me, I said Bisexual. Than I let out the big question, if she wanted to be my gf, she sighed and said sure. (just to let you know I have a problem with dating people that I don’t actually like because I didn’t get much love as a child so I just tried to take it from others, but It just kept getting worse so I kept asking my best friends witch leads to a lot of breakups.) so we dated for a while and I just kept realizing that this was wasn’t working, so I told her and she agreed. I apologized and we stayed friends with a close distance. Than fifth grade rolled around the corner and we didn’t really hang out until the end of the year but we still kept a distance knowing what happens last year. Sixth grade is now hear and I realized I was on the same bus as her this year so I sat next to her on the first day and btw this is the closest we have been since I’ve known her. But I ruined it again because my addiction got a hold of me again so I told her that I liked her when I actually didn’t. She told me she didn’t like me back so I told her about my problem and she told me she understood my problem but I knew she didn’t. No one I knew understood me anymore since I kept going to far. Since I only had one class with her I realized she kept trying to ignore me. One the bus, in the morning, and in our only class together. One of my other friends (we will call her kind) kind told me that pretty invited me to her birthday party, I kept on asking her “Am I invited to your birthday?“ but she just kept ignoring me. So I did not know the day of the party or what we were doing. So when I was out to eat with my family I saw a party in the restaurant I went to, it was her party. All my friends were there and I wasn’t. That’s when I realized that she doesn’t care for me anymore. We haven’t talked since than and she hasn’t tried talking to me either. But everyday I see her in the hallway and think of everything that happened between us and it just makes me sad seeing us like this. :( This is hopefully a lesson to you. Don’t date your best friends, or it might ruin everything.

I asked her what her name was and it was Pretty so after that we hung out after that, I started feeling feelings for her so I asked her what her sexuality was, she was a pansexual. Than she asked me, I said Bisexual. Than I let out the big question, if she wanted to be my gf, she sighed and said sure. (just to let you know I have a problem with dating people that I don’t actually like because I didn’t get much love as a child so I just tried to take it from others, but It just kept getting worse so I kept asking my best friends witch leads to a lot of breakups.) so we dated for a while and I just kept realizing that this was wasn’t working, so I told her and she agreed. I apologized and we stayed friends with a close distance. Than fifth grade rolled around the corner and we didn’t really hang out until the end of the year but we still kept a distance knowing what happens last year. Sixth grade is now hear and I realized I was on the same bus as her this year so I sat next to her on the first day and btw this is the closest we have been since I’ve known her. But I ruined it again because my addiction got a hold of me again so I told her that I liked her when I actually didn’t. She told me she didn’t like me back so I told her about my problem and she told me she understood my problem but I knew she didn’t. No one I knew understood me anymore since I kept going to far. Since I only had one class with her I realized she kept trying to ignore me. One the bus, in the morning, and in our only class together. One of my other friends (we will call her kind) kind told me that pretty invited me to her birthday party, I kept on asking her “Am I invited to your birthday?“ but she just kept ignoring me. So I did not know the day of the party or what we were doing. So when I was out to eat with my family I saw a party in the restaurant I went to, it was her party. All my friends were there and I wasn’t. That’s when I realized that she doesn’t care for me anymore. We haven’t talked since than and she hasn’t tried talking to me either. But everyday I see her in the hallway and think of everything that happened between us and it just makes me sad seeing us like this. :(

The birthday thing was really cold. Sorry you had to go through that. It's kind of a trip that fourth graders ask each other about their sexuality right off the bat. That didn't used to happen in elementary school. FWIW, I don't use the terms "man" or "women" to describe children. I use boy and girl until they're at least 18.
