Yes, it’s possible! I am divorced and parent of two. When I was 50, I made a goal to retire at 60 and be debt free. Last year, I paid off my mortgage, and retired debt free. The key is “budgeting”. Salamat po Lord!

Same with me and my hubby we are debt free. It wasn’t easy at first. We lived below our means, bought used clothes, furniture, cooked our meals. We bought our first home with cash. We are debt free and still continue to live within our means. And yes, I follow Dave Ramsey :) 27:07
Yes, ang gaan sa feeling knowing that you don’t owe anybody anything. Delayed gratification is the key. A penny saved is always a penny earned. We also invested in stocks, mutual funds. My husband nga pala is from Michigan born and raised in South Haven.
Yes! We’ve been seriously putting money in sa aming Vanguard retiement and Health Savings Account. It’s a good feeling when you know na anytime you need to replace new set of tires of purchase new water heater that you have the money to pay for this things. We live just 20 minutes away from Ann Arbor. Salamat ulit for watching and your comment.🙏🏻

I like your mindset that's why I'm subscribing and watching your videos. It's nice to pay-off the homeloan but I get investment properties dahil na rin sa influence ng friends ko dito sa Sydney. Though it doesn't work for everyone and depending on the type of real estate and the location but thank God the properties that we bought have doubled the original price. The reason why we can't pay-off the main house that we are residing because we use it as an equity. Pero as mentioned depende lang talaga sa tao, if I find getting investment properties as my way to financial freedom then it's good as go. Thanks much for posting relevant videos.
Anyway, congratulations on reaching what you have now! 💐❤
Though we can't really be totally debt free because of real estate tax we owe the government, but I completely understand where you're coming from. Paying off your home mortgage is like a weight coming off your shoulders. Good job!

We bought 2yrs before the crash & I was kicking myself when I found out prices in our neighborhood went down anywhere between 200-300k 🤦♂️🤦♀️ Thankfully there's an upside: now that value has more than doubled (+ having excellent credit history) we've built up & are eligible to cash out equity IF want to. Besides, we only have a few years left until we're finally "in the clear" waiting patiently won't kill us IF we just want to do any drastic renovations #DontFixWhatsNotBroken 😊😊
Thank you for sharing your story. Nakarelate ako, noong dumating kami ni misis dito sa US naki share kami ng apartment witn friends for 5 years kaya malaki naitulong sa pag save ng money for downpayment when we bought our home. Todo tipid talaga kami sa lahat ng bagay. We also always buy used reliable cars and does not take any debt except for home. We are dave ramsey fan as well though not a hard core one we still utilize credit cards and pay them every month 😄 Ngayon medyo may leeway na kami ni misis at bumibili ng designer bags paisa isa pag my extra after funding all retirement accounts. We wont be able to do all of this if d kami naging matipid noong bago kami dito at stayed debt free other than home.
Wow congrats! Kami din baby step 7 na, 2 years ago we paid off our home before we even turn 40. Hoping to reach our first million dollar networth next year 🤞. Bakit kayo mag mortgage to buy a rental? Cash nyo nalang, ipon muna😊😊 Good luck 🎉
That’s what we’re trying to do po as much as possible, to save and buy cash but sometimes opportunities may come and borrowing can be a stepping stone and make sure lang that we pay it off as quick as we can. But yes po, cash is king!☺️

Same here po Dave Ramsey's advice is very helpful to those who want to live like no one else...SAVING AND INVESTING .. BEING DEBT FREE IS SUPER FUN...Im a widow with 2 kids and keeping our lifestyle below our means...Nice content...
I was introduced to Dave Ramsey’s program by my friend Jessica via her church. I was 50 then. From that day, I made a goal to pay off my mortgage so I can retire at 60. Fast forward, I am 61, retired last year, and debt free.
I'm 43 and I've been a widow for almost 4 years and so far me and my 2 kids are financially doing great..I started investing regularly and so far so good ..I'm looking forward to retire early too...
