It’s because he’s arrogant. People justify it often and call it confidence but it’s not. Confidence is secure and doesn’t have to announce itself. Arrogance is insecurity immigrating confidence. The deception of arrogance is you end up becoming the enemy you fight.

That new new Russ on The Breakfast Club this was unexpected but highly rewarding to watch. Amazing to have the one on one discussion where the back and forth has less opportunities for interjection and the energy is more stable. I took a plethora of notes and Russ seems to always come with new insights and a mentality that's optimal to download into my own. He's definitely in my sphere of people who influence me, and I will be using the knowledge from this interview in my own pursuits moving forward. When Russ came out to Nampa idaho not even the Capitol of the state, still sold out , crowded & packed with support that said something even to him ! He was really ecstatic 🤩. When I was 22 my younger sister committed suicide and ever since then I have been going to therapy for what Russ and Charlamagne discuss at the end - setting boundaries with emotionally abusive people & Parents. I love how Charlamagne nails the point that you have to do what is best for you. You can tell he has been going to therapy much longer than Russ, however, it is great to see Russ grow spiritually via this interview and Jay Shetty. Loved the advice on money and the line of credit as well, what a great insight in to the world of high-level independent music funding. The album is crazy - listened to it before I watched this!!!
