I was an optician for many years and I worked with some wonderful young ladies, most of which wore glasses. Now even though our company provided everyone with an annual eye exam as well as new glasses every 6 months that didn't stop my girls from ordering even more glasses from numerous glasses sites. Their main reason was because their free pairs had to be regular glasses and not sunglasses. But of course besides ordering sunglasses they seemed to always find other glasses they just couldn't live without. In your video you mentioned something that really bothered me that I wanted to clarify. All of the on-line glasses sites includes the lenses of your glasses in whatever prescription your eye require. I have come across several where the people have been offered 5 or 6 pairs of glasses from various glasses sites and the people only order their glasses as non-prescription and then claim they will take them to get their prescription put into them. Yes, you can do that, but why? As an optician I can tell you that having your prescription put into any pair of glasses will cost you at least $55.00 with no extras on the lenses. To add an AR coating (anti-reflective) will cost another $50.00 or more. The on-line sellers charge anywhere from zero dollars to not more than $15.00 and that includes the AR coating for their lenses in your prescription. Zeelool for example only charges $5.00 for their single vision lenses and that also includes the AR coating. Of course you can do whatever you wish to, but you apparently didn't get any of your glasses in your prescription? Why? It's so easy to order your glasses in your prescription and when my girls first started ordering glasses on-line I was a bit skeptical as to the accuracy of the prescriptions. So I insisted on checking their glasses before they started wearing them. I was very impressed to find the prescription in their glasses as accurate if not more accurate than from our own lab.
