Dogs are built to take damage, and cats aren't. Many people are too rough and don't feed their cats enough minerals, so the animals are uncomfortable being touched. When my friend's cat was having hip sensitivity, I got extra sulfur into the little one asap. Otherwise they're much easier to manage and play with once they learn to control their claws.

Cats love parallel play. They get excited by you just watching. I've tried to multitask and play with my cat while doing school work, but my cat always notices when I'm not paying attention fully and loses interest as well. She looks so SAD and disappointed that I usually ditch the school work for a ten minutes or so :D they're like kids sometimes

Same here. Broke me down into tears. My cat did all the same things. And I realized it was only because he was attached to me. He was friendly but not like that with anyone else. Would wait for me and holler at the door, trip me and cut me off everytime I got up, sat with me in the bathroom, in my lap before I could even sit down, even when o was mad and didn’t deserve him he was there by my side. He recently passed due to surprise kindney failure. Only had him for a bout 4-5 years. Seems like our time was cut so short and it still haunts me, but I wouldn’t trade my time with him for anything. Just lost my best friend a couple months ago. It’s still hard to fathom that he isn’t just away and will never come back into my arms. I have a cat that kinda activates and deactivate depending on whether I'm around tho she's chill w my fam. If I'm not home, apparently she just sleeps all day. And when i am home, she will keep meowing at me to play and following me around. If i happen to be doing work, she'll lay around the vicinity I'm in.

Cats love parallel play. They get excited by you just watching. I've tried to multitask and play with my cat while doing school work, but my cat always notices when I'm not paying attention fully and loses interest as well. She looks so SAD and disappointed that I usually ditch the school work for a ten minutes or so :D they're like kids sometimes

Same here. Broke me down into tears. My cat did all the same things. And I realized it was only because he was attached to me. He was friendly but not like that with anyone else. Would wait for me and holler at the door, trip me and cut me off everytime I got up, sat with me in the bathroom, in my lap before I could even sit down, even when o was mad and didn’t deserve him he was there by my side. He recently passed due to surprise kindney failure. Only had him for a bout 4-5 years. Seems like our time was cut so short and it still haunts me, but I wouldn’t trade my time with him for anything. R.I.P. to your lil kitty and I miss you my lil King Koda Bear Killa.😂 🌹

Just lost my best friend a couple months ago. It’s still hard to fathom that he isn’t just away and will never come back into my arms. I couldn’t go anywhere without him running down the hall way to cut me off and trip me, waiting at the door for me to come home, crawling in my lap before I can even empty my pockets and sit down, having to sit with me everytime I went to the bathroom lmfao.
