@@invicta3015 thanks! We’re currently in the Male airport on our way home 😂 We have been here for 9 days and I can confirm every your word: the weather is good, rains were 4 or 5 times, but only for 10-15 minutes, not more. For those who hesitates - don’t worry, feel free to go here.
We are considering traveling to the maledives in august next year. How long were the raining periods? Would you recommend it eventhough this is not the best time for a holliday at the beach?

Yes, we really recommend!!! You´ll spend a lovely time there! It was raining few days, but 10 -20 minutes max

For me wifi worked not well. I bought a local SIM card at the airport, that was much better.
