- I travelled on the 2nd most dangerous road in the world whilst travelling up to tourist spot Fairy Meadows. It's also an area of Pakistan that has previously experienced safety issues for tourists. I felt genuine fear on this day.. but is it worth the risk? Watch to find out.

A word of advice to our foreign guests... Please follow the local authorities and explain your whereabouts... Travel with registered tour guides only don't want any unwanted incident which will bring heartache to locals as well as international community as we take our guests very seriously and your well being becomes our priority
Absolutely that.. the system is there to protect you and it works well
The person with her is a professional Tour Operator and he is from Gilgit Baltistan
She had a appointed Armi personnel with her, although she doesn’t need that in my personal opinion. People are very respectful and helpful towards their guests and specially for a woman. I have traveled in Pakistan northern areas in a Hilux van with full of local Pakhtoon van we girls were wearing jeans and shirts, I still remember their eyes were on the floor none of them made us uncomfortable at all. I’m so proud to be a Pakistani 🇵🇰.
Mashallah Women are always respected in northern Areas@@zaibnaji44

Pakistan is beautiful and the people are so kind and hospitable. Love from Germany 🇩🇪🇵🇰
I travelled this area in Pakistan 26 years ago. Beautiful mountains and valleys and people are very warm hearted and friendly. Have fun👍
It must have been amazing 26 yrs ago.. more untouched! So lucky! Thanks for watching 😍

The narration was beautiful. Amazing shots. Felt like watching a documentary.
Glad you enjoyed it! 😍
Beautiful vlog excellent filming and you have amazing communicating skills… welcome to Pakistan… miss my Pakistan ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Thank you Amna! Really appreciate your lovely comment 🥰
I am from Pakistan but i would never travel on those roads. I was getting goosebumps just by watching. Carrie has courage, i admit that.
I have to say the idea of landslides was terrifying!
These roads are not for the weak hearted people. Difficult terrain makes the adventure worthwhile.
Same 😂😂 I’m from the flatlands of central Panjab so to see such high mountains I wish I could go but my nerves would never let me, who knows though maybe one day I will
@@sidsid9808 i don't wanna gamble with my life 😁
I honestly just love the way you speak carrie, such a clear voice that i would tune into the radio if you were on the other side talking, really lovely.

Loved everything especially your wording such as more gentle landscape, terrible traffic of horses 🐎 and perfumed tissue. Worth visiting if not tired and reach to the proper viewing point.
Thanks for watching all the way to the perfume tissue! A favourite part of mine 😄
top 10 Tallest mountains on Earth (except Evetest) are in #Pakistan

Yes! Not so many people realise I don’t think..
Lovely to see that many people are now visiting Pakistan and finding out how safe and beautiful this country truly is.
Beautiful video ❤

Absolutely amazing. Loved it. I cannot remember at all watching this video before. Also, I could not recognize it was the same Rajib in the first place, perhaps because of his different outfit and look. A nice one, Carrie!
This is the first time I have shown this video.. I am really glad you enjoyed it 🥰.. same Raji!
@@carriepatsalis Awwww. I see! My memory is not that bad then 🤪. Thanks, Carrie!
@@sajib333 😁.. your memory is perfect!
This place is magical, I'm embarrassed to say that I'm a British Pakistani and yet I've never been to Pakistan, but after watching your video I'm planning to visit Northern Pakistan next summer
That’s made me very happy to read! One of my closest friends is British Pakistani and she has never been and I am like ‘sort it out!’ Northern Pakistan is so magical.. you will be spoilt for choice.. check the temperature.. higher elevations will likely be cool.. obvs cities like Islamabad are beyond boiling.. 🥵
I love the people and the beautiful country...no, never any problems, just generous, kind people all the time..felt safe and respected and feel safer there than Toronto at present!!!!
Everyone I met was so kind 🥰

Scary & frightening
Duas 🤲 Allah take good care of you while touring Pakistan 🇵🇰 💪
🥰
Thank you carrie to visit pakistan ❤❤❤
My pleasure 🥰
Stay blessed. Stay safe. A few remote tourist destinations of Pakistan are considered somewhat unsafe for female travelers but not these super popular destinations like Fairy Meadows. Hunza & Skardu are other popular places you can visit and be in awe.
Thanks! I loved Hunza and skardu too! Videos coming soon!
i visited meadows in year 2007 and its amazing far way from hectic life and enjoyed alot.i cant forget it but im lucky bcx what i experienced was full moon night.
Oh wow a full moon there would have been incredible! 😍
Beautiful meadows
So beautiful 🤩
Reminds me of FarCry 4. Beautiful and adventurous.
Or Skyrim maybe.
really so beautiful place in pakistan
It’s lovely ☺️
Enjoy
Just when you think you have seen the best in Pakistan you go further only to be more amazed by the scenery
And this was only the start of the amazing scenery 😍.. I have tried to debate my favourite place.. and I end up getting confused now..!
She seems like a really nice lady & we do welcome her & our foreign guests & wish them a happy & safe journey! I sometimes get annoyed at myself for not exploring our beautiful Pakistan as much as these foreigners do! You guys do enjoy life, I'm a little jealous here but still overall happy for you people! ☺
It’s the same in reverse.. I haven’t been to many uk spots 😆.. Pakistan has some absolute gems.. you just go! And I will make sure to get to Yorkshire! 😆
And more vlog please
What a beautiful country ❤️ and your video filimg skills are amazing, but caption is less catchy this time. But still you are one of the best vlogger on youtube so far.
Thanks! What would you do as a caption?
@carriepatsalis caption could have been "I can't believe this is Pakistan" or how beautiful Pakistan is" or " On world's highest and scariest ride"
So beautiful, I go in May and looking forward. When did you film this? Have you booked via an agency?
May will be a wonderful time! I have been during May.. this was however November.. I use Raji from @ultimate_adventure_tours (insta account)
@@carriepatsalis Was this a 3 day trekking?
John bancken do make a vlog when you go pal, love to see Ur log. Seems awesome and the terrain - spectacular
@@johnbancken2011 yes one day to get up there.. one day trek to that viewpoint.. back down 3rd day.. may will be stunning with the flowers I reckon!
11:22 😍 this is wow😳 i can't describe, such views gives chills in my spine🫠
It’s so so beautiful there 😍
I heard fear 8n your voice in the initial few mins of this video.. I have this love n hate relationship with this road.. Been there twice.
Yes it definitely got me early on.. fine from the horse onwards 😆
Pakistan has some crazy locations especially for film makers who want to shoot movie scenes or documentaries. Pakistan has all seasons in one year depending on which city you want to visit.
Yes indeed.. alot of choice there
I’ve been on some scary roads in Kashmir but that one looked really terrifying.
It was full on 😅
