- On Friday 4 May 2012 the Centre for Public Law held the eleventh in the series of lectures in honour of Sir David Williams. The lecture, entitled "The Good Constitution" was given by the Rt. Hon. Lord Justice Laws.
The Sir David Williams Lecture is an annual address delivered by a guest lecturer in honour of Sir David Williams, Emeritus Rouse Ball Professor of English Law and Emeritus Vice-Chancellor of Cambridge University.

He misses in entirety the curent construction. The bill of rights 1688 was created by convention and is thus outside of the control of government. Lord Blackstone would be very disappointed.
