I just purchased Bye bye blues and Hollywood Royalty I'm definitely excited to use them after this review... I will be looking for that Yellow bottle as well. Happy New Year 🎉
As a gourmand lover, the Viva La Juicy Gold Couture had been on my radar for quite some time. The floral notes listed made me hesitant to pay full price on a risky blind buy, so I was pleased when we found one at a more acceptable price point recently. Unfortunately, it has either been reformulated (batch code shows it was made last year) or it just smells very very different to some folk. I get zero caramel and the sweetness that is present is not even anything I could identify as vanilla. What I smell is a very sharp flowery type of aroma, mixed with a slightly masculine body spray smell, sweetened ever so slightly with a basic nondescript sugariness. Checking some reviews online, I came across a review for another one from the Juicy range, and the reviewer said they are convinced that the whole range has been reformulated as every one now has the same strong smell of something like a cheap honeysuckle room freshener. I have to say that this description hits the mark for me also as a close description of what I smell from this Gold Couture Juicy. All in all, rather disappointing.
Oh no! I never like the idea of scents being reformulated - I’d much prefer it if they just brought out flankers etc. I still think that I don’t smell quite the same level of caramel that everyone else smells but I do enjoy it so much more now ☺️🤎xx
I tried the Pretty in Purple today 💜. It was so sweet and juicy. I only sampled on paper. I'll have to try next on my skin. I tried the Rouge and the Orange one today. I didnt like either of those. The only Juicy Couture that I own thus far is Blooming Babe. It reminds me of the original Daisy. I'd like to try the remaining in the Rainbow collection.
It really is! Pretty in Purple was such a surprise for me. I think Bye Bye Blues is hard to dislike but it’s not particularly strong either. Yes I need to have another look for that “It’s Sunny Hunny”. Love the brand and really could happily have any of their scents ha 🎀☺️xx

nice collection! viva la juicy sucre is now discontinued and like $145 on the resell sites. It was so good and I only have a sample lol.
