Amazing!! You do such a wonderful job of giving clear, concise directions in your tutorials! Thank you again for sharing your gift with us! God bless you both!
You guys are the best!!! I so enjoy your tutorials. I have a growing list of projects to try and I'm adding this one to it. Thanks for posting and sharing.

I just made this cake last weekend and would have LOVED to have had this tutorial before now! LOL. The cake turned out "ok" but now I see some tricks on how I could have done it much better:-) You guys are great....thanks!
OMG! YOU GUYS ARE SO CREATIVE! I'M PRAYING THAT I GET THERE WITH MY BUSINESS! THANKS SO MUCH FOR ALWAYS SHARING! (sorry for all CAPS! I was just so amazed at the detail)😂😂😀😍😍
Thank you so much! Glad you like it. We make gumpaste by mixing Wilton fondant with tylose powder. We have a tutorial on how we make it if you'd like to check it out. Thanks for watching. :)
Hi Jane! Our edible glue is made by mixing tylose powder with warm water. We have a tutorial on our TH-cam channel on how we make it if you'd like to check it out. :)
HI Linda! That would be totally doable. There are many ways to go about it. You can cover your cake in fondant and then use edible glue to add the bananas or if you do just a buttercream cake, as soon as you're done icing you can press the bananas into the icing. I hope that helps and thanks for watching. :)
This is amazing!!! I’m going to try this for our daughters 2nd birthday next month! Do you buy/make colored gumpaste or do you buy/make white gumpaste and color it with the colors you need? (Sorry if that doesn’t make sense 😅)
Thank you so much! Glad you liked it. I color all my gumpaste myself except brown, black, and red. Those I buy already pre-colored. Well, I should say I buy the fondant and then turn it into gumpaste. If you'd like to learn how to turn fondant into gumpaste please be sure to check out my tutorial on how to make gumpaste. I appreciate you watching! :)
Hi Mrs Laura and Mr Arnie. Thank you so much for sharing this! Can you please tell me, did you go to school for this? I REALLY want to become an expert in cake toppers and fondant decorations! Where can I go to really learn how to do this? So far I have made only one fondant topper (a baby elephant) and I have gotten sooo much positive feedback from people. But everything I learn is from TH-cam:). Thanks for any advice
Hi! It's our pleasure to share! :) I didn't go to school for this. Just a lot of practice. You can become an expert. It just takes time and practice. I recommend you continue to learn from TH-cam. You can go to classes of course, but, try and learn as much as you can on your own first. That way once you've done it for a while, you'll know what you're good at and what comes a bit harder for you. Then, you'll know what type of classes you need to take. :) Having said that, it doesn't hurt to take a class now just for fun! :) If you're anywhere near Arizona, we'll be having a two day workshop in Mesa on June 22nd and 23rd. If you're interested, visitor our FB page to check out the post on it: facebook.com/krazykoolcakes/ Have fun and continue practicing! :)
Wow he's just adorable, thank you so much for sharing this video with us, I've got to give it a go, just hope he turns out half as good as yours lol, love all the bananas ❤
for the gumpaste, is this your homemade gumpaste and then you are adding color? or are you making the gumpaste from pre-colored fondant? if so, what is your ratio preference?
We make gumpaste using Wilton fondant and mixing it with CAI tylose powder. We have a tutorial here on TH-cam on how we make it if you'd like to check it out. The brown gumpaste is Wilton's chocolate brown fondant mixed with tylose. :)
Thank you! I don't know why I didn't think of using COLORED wilton fondant for the same procedure LOL My goodness, sometimes I live in a box. I am currently making your Mickey Mouse Clubhouse cake topper for this weekend's cake. :)

Hi Ruxy! If you check the info in the description box below the video you'll see the link to the colors we use to dust. In the video we use our little steamer to steam our topper to clean it up and make it shine. You can also find the link to that under the video. A lot of info there. :)

Hi Tee! You can find the link to the steamer that we use in the description box below the video. Steaming cleans up your topper. It gets rid of edible glue stains and fingerprint stains as well. You're left with a beautiful professional finish when it's dry. Hope that helps and thanks for watching!
It is edible and it tastes like fondant. It really just depends on what fondant you use to make it (must add tylose powder to fondant to turn it into gumpaste). You are VERY welcome Kimberley! I'm sure you'll do AWESOME! You can make this weeks ahead of time if you'd like. I"m actually making this right now! Haha! Let him dry out in the open. Just be sure it's an area free of dust, humidity, and direct sunlight. Have fun and thanks for watching! :)

How do you prevent the figure from drying out as you're working?
We actually need it to dry out while working so that it begins to stabilize and not move around.

You "could", but the result will not be as good.
