They moved the button to the left side. I always keep Pams on the right side of my case because that's where the button is...I always wanted it on the left...great!
The ability to swap between channels to change the same settings is a welcome addition, but holding start/stop to do it worries me. (It looks like you accidentally stopped it at 3:00 while doing this). Is it easy to mistakenly start/stop it while doing this?
It is but you have to connect it to PPW with breadboard jumper cables because the pinouts are different on PPW. More detailed info is in the PPW thread on modwiggler.
One thing I'd like to point out: The screen is NOT OLED! I was a bit disappointed when I received my Pam Pro and had to find out it's a lame ol' LCD. Other than that, the module is really fun to use and very versatile.
@@trackdayadventures LC-Displays need some kind of back light, usually led nowadays. If you look at the display from an angle you can see this led strip on one side of the display. Also by simply judging the black levels of the display. You can never get really deep black with LC-Displays, especially if there is also some bright element displayed at the same time. Check for example the scopes in full screen on Pam's, you can clearly see it's not OLED that way.
@@MrJemabaris My Korg Minilogue XD supposedly has an OLED screen and with it being so small and with such large pixels I honestly couldn't tell the difference between LCD and OLED. I do notice a difference in black levels on OLED TVs though. Still disappointed that several places state that Pam's Pro is OLED and was an extra selling point for me. Damn expensive for a module. I got one though and I'm sure I will give it a good workout X3
@@trackdayadventures I can confirm that the minilogue xd's display is actually OLED. I sold mine just a couple of months ago. I work as a color grading artist so I'm pretty familiar with display technologies and am especially nit picky with such things. I agree that for the price Pam's costs they could've and should've gone with OLED. The thing is a colored one would indeed be quite a bit more expensive. Basically all synths or modules with OLEDs all just have monochrome ones. Pam's pro is still a great module and first and foremost it's there to make music with. Have fun with yours!

this time it's PROFESSIONAL
A perfect excuse to get a new Pam after frying my module by connecting power to the expander :) - WOW the screen is in color. That's pro!

I need to disconnect the from the interwebs PERMANENTLY so I don't keep seeing new things to buy! 😭😁
that screen is DEFinitely pro
Super nice. (BTW, quick mute is already available on the old new workout)

Can this be used as a quantizer for the 4 cv in?
Good question. Curious as well.
Do you think a Steppy is necessary if you have this module?
Is this no longer compatible with the PEXP 1? That's a non starter for me until the new module is released.

Next is Pam's Executive Workout
Which will then be followed by Pam’s CSO (Chief Sequence Officer) Workout
Might be Pam's Max Workout
My main issue with the original Pams is that it wasn't bipolar, please, please tell me that's now possible?
Geez i have two pams new work. This GAS is way too much for me. Guess i'll just be broke forever.
Giant screen, for a modular rack. Any screen is better than none.
goddamnit ALM...

How can you tell the difference?

Reverb full of PNW now lol
What a weird logo… rotate 90 degrees ccw and you’ll see what I mean.
Module is awesome but the presenter person is so annoying, talking like we are all 10 year olds.
this is america
true
@@esteelvauce7288 also true
Nice module, presenter comes across fake and insincere
Agree.
Wouldn’t show this guy a birds nest
