I don't even know what to say! Everything I needed to know and learn about Midjourney, I found on this channel. I am Brazilian and until now, I haven't found videos with such complete and consistent information as yours here in Brazil. Thank you very much for sharing this vast knowledge!
Simply telling me that is really awesome. The question of "is this video any good?" Is constant for creators. So thank you so much for the positive feedback! :)
@@WadeMcMaster The video is excellent! Not just this one, but all the others I've watched. They will help me a lot and everyone else who consumes your content. I wish you much success and prosperity, my friend.
Hey thanks! I will add another tip. On the website, you can drag and drop the image from the gallery to the prompt box, even without using the style/image button.
I may be late to the game, but have you tried the "change AR" settings in the website? You can set it to change based upon start/center/end, then choose the new AR, and it shows you how the current image will be placed in the new AR frame. That is AMAZING!
(and yes, I know this is unrelated to the video, but I was playing around with the consistent character stuff when I ran across this AR setting, so here we are 😂)
General issues you can get when using cref: 1, The picture generated has a tendency to focus A LOT more on the face, which can make it difficult for the background to show. It would also lower your prompt coherence (prompt for five characters but only get two or three, prompt for full body but get only upper torso, prompt for torso but get headshot, body position would also be affected by this). 2, cref can add color bleed into your image during pan/zoom/regional var/editing mode especially if you highlight a much larger area than just the area needed for the face. 3, Pictures with animals are hit and miss. Sometimes, the character face will be applied on the animal, and animal features are shown on the character. There are many ways to fix these problems but they all come at the cost of going through more complicated workflow.
@@WadeMcMaster You're welcome, can't wait for your next videos. We chime in daily sometimes rewatching older/newer videos. Like I said, FANTASTIC job keep it up!
Thanks for the video, but... adding --[my parameter] doesn't work in Vary Region. It gives an error ❌ Submission Error! SyntaxError: Unexpected token 'I', “Internal S”... is not valid JSON
every time when i try to use cref in a vary region section I have an error "SyntaxError: Unexpected token 'I', "Internal S"... is not valid JSON" and just can't use it. does anyone have the same problem?
Thank you, Wade.
I've been totally befuddled about how to create crefs.
This is by far the best tutorial that I've found on the subject! 👍
Thank you for positive feedback mate, I'm really glad I could help :)
This tutorial is fantastic. Thanks so much! :) So many hidden gems about Character reference and Character weight!
Glad it was helpful! Thank you mate :)

Nice tip! Thank you for that, big time saver :)
Thanks for the tricks! I would have never guessed to use vary region to insert to images Genius!!
Thank you! Yeah there are little work arounds that can overcome some of the limitations of Midjourney, I'm always on the lookout for more!
Awesome tips Wade bro!
Thank you man! Took my time but got this video done lol
Will be watching this tonight!!! 👍
Thanks Mike! I hope you find it useful mate :)

I haven't tried it! I have completely overlooked it, thank you for letting me know!
Thank you Wade for another helpful video! I laughed out loud at the bottom right image at 5:49.
Not the lunch I wanted to witness hahaha
Thank you mate :)
Why doesn’t my midjourny show the character reference button? I’m struggling to keep anything consistent once I’ve created a photo,
I'm not sure sorry mate. You may need to use the parameters as a work around

Nice insight mate! I do think added complexity is a natural step if you want more control, but otherwise I do help these things are improved over time
Thank you so much for sharing, you are a true blessing! You give great detail and straight to the point instructions, Love it! New Subscriber also!
I'm so happy to hear it! Thank you so much :)

SyntaxError: Unexpected token 'I', “Internal S”... is not valid JSON
That's odd, there's no errors in the code value at all?
@@WadeMcMaster I figured it out!) I should have put --bird, not a shortcut, but --cref and a link to the image here)) But tnx for you reply)

I haven't had that issue, sorry. Wish I had an answer
very helpful
Thank you!
Does this work with anime style characters?
I've seen other people use it that way, but I personally haven't tested it myself.
