Years ago I started noticing my mind chatter... and it was always stuff I wish I'd said to someone but didn't... or... trying to explain myself etc. I began to catch myself in mind chatter, catching it quicker and quicker... eventually I would say to myself "oh yeah... that old recording... lol" and it lightened my load. Yesterday I finally got myself a lower mileage car after having hand controls put on it so I can drive it... a person I always emotionally support did the same ole same ole, trying to make me feel guilty or non deserving of the good stuff... but I saw it from a zoomed out perspective and was free from the old trigger of trying to explain myself in any way, shape or form. Felt like you'd been watching my life and then telling me about it. Lol. Pile 2. A couple years ago I started my spiritual journey but just the past couple months have I finally stopped my overnurturing habits. Had a 8yr "friend" that I realize was more of me being a caretaker. I finally set some strong boundaries and of course they got ticked. Finally we agreed to talk. I'm a peacekeeper so if they really wanted to talk I was open to it. We'll after about 30 min of them ranting at me (I have a high tolerance) I actually did something I've never done. I grabbed my purse (we were in a public place) and said, I'm not doing this. You don't want to have a conversation, you just want to blame and invalidate me. Then I got up and walked away. I was very proud of myself.

This week, a member of my gender care team is making a home visit (first ever, for me) to assess its "suitability", for want of a better word, for my recovery from my requested impending gender affirming (top) surgery. This visit is coming in direct "conflict" with my long-standing (almost 50 years) issue of cleaning and organizing my living space. I am making progress, good progress actually, but naturally I fear judgement and delay as a result of this visit. But I have been hearing "I will not be pushed" in my head, and now I am being told the same thing channelled through a "random stranger".😉 Along with "Do not fear, just keep going as you're going, you'll be fine." Pile 2 was perfect... thank you! Years ago I started noticing my mind chatter... and it was always stuff I wish I'd said to someone but didn't... or... trying to explain myself etc. I began to catch myself in mind chatter, catching it quicker and quicker... eventually I would say to myself "oh yeah... that old recording... lol" and it lightened my load. Yesterday I finally got myself a lower mileage car after having hand controls put on it so I can drive it... a person I always emotionally support did the same ole same ole, trying to make me feel guilty or non deserving of the good stuff... but I saw it from a zoomed out perspective and was free from the old trigger of trying to explain myself in any way, shape or form.

Some behaviour is just unacceptable and I start to learn ‘I don’t care’ in a loving way to myself instead of chasing after people or working hard to earn their ‘love’, which is not love at all. Felt like you'd been watching my life and then telling me about it. Lol. Pile 2. A couple years ago I started my spiritual journey but just the past couple months have I finally stopped my overnurturing habits. Had a 8yr "friend" that I realize was more of me being a caretaker. I finally set some strong boundaries and of course they got ticked. Finally we agreed to talk. I'm a peacekeeper so if they really wanted to talk I was open to it. We'll after about 30 min of them ranting at me (I have a high tolerance) I actually did something I've never done. I grabbed my purse (we were in a public place) and said, I'm not doing this. You don't want to have a conversation, you just want to blame and invalidate me. Then I got up and walked away.
I was very proud of myself.

Thanks so much Jenny. I opened my TH-cam and saw your video, but I picked pile 3 before watching you preparing the piles. I had no idea the charm was a cat. I recently had to put my cat to sleep.. and he sent me a huge sign through a rainbow.. I have kept a rainbow cushion of him that he liked. The reading resonated a lot. I'm trying to move forward, it's too tough when they cross over and you are alone, with no much support nor understanding of grief from family and friends.. I started a project in memory of my cat, and I'm on my path and mission now. Looking forward to seeing that project or person who will change my life, but will take the advice of cats by not rushing. This week, a member of my gender care team is making a home visit (first ever, for me) to assess its "suitability", for want of a better word, for my recovery from my requested impending gender affirming (top) surgery. This visit is coming in direct "conflict" with my long-standing (almost 50 years) issue of cleaning and organizing my living space. I am making progress, good progress actually, but naturally I fear judgement and delay as a result of this visit.
But I have been hearing "I will not be pushed" in my head, and now I am being told the same thing channelled through a "random stranger".😉 Along with "Do not fear, just keep going as you're going, you'll be fine."
