@@veliborplavsic2004 the curry 8's. i have the curry 8's and i agree that they're better than the 9's by a bit. they're almost a little too good and I've been wearing them indoor for a month and a half now and they are pretty durable too

I just got a PG4 for 50 bucks thanks to those coming out. Great value
just got the pg5 the other day and i for me the traction performs very well on our teams court, and it is a very nice breathable and light shoe. it’s also nice how you can feel the insole and notice the comfort of it. would recommend for any guards or wings.
How's the traction?? Squeky or not??
@@kingadamestubo9320 on the court it doesn’t squeak all that much, but if you stutter step or anything like that you should definitely hear the squeaking
@@kingadamestubo9320 and the stop is good and i’ve had no problems moving laterally while playing defense. i would say a 9/10 maybe 9.5/10 traction, absolutely nothing wrong with it after playing in them for a week

I have the PG4s, size 11. They fit very snug, but it is my size (10.5 was painfully tight, and 11.5 was too big). What size should I get for the PG5s (online order)?
Came across a great find at the Nike clearance store in the black and white colorway. Only one pair and it happened to be my size for only $50! Instant cop as I’ve wanted a pair for some time now. Cant wait to play in these in a couple weeks 😄
Appreciate the shoe for what it is, minimalistic budget shoe that performs above average.

Love this shoe. It's my new standard for hoop shoes.
Think it is a good shoes too but Ibaka play now with the don issue 2 and i love Ibaka. Could you tell me if the don issue 2 are good?
@@BMBball I have an achilles issue that wasn't compatible with the Don Issue 2, but that doesn't mean you won't like it. From Adidas the only shoe I currently have is the N3XT L3V3L 2020 which I like (for the lightstrike), but don't love (because of the fit). Ibaka is great. I wish Toronto had tried harder to keep him, but the Clippers did well to pick him up on the contract that they got.
Nice little cuts of you showing dribble moves/the shoe on the court should add more of those in future performance vids
On an indoor court the durability is pretty good. I’ve been wearing them for two weeks and very little wear.

I just got the digi camo pg4’s for $60 from finish line I’m really looking forward to testing them out but right now we have about 8 inches of snow so I definitely can’t shoot on the court right now

Get the shoe just go on Nike I’d and get the xdr traction on them and that rubber with this traction pattern outside is butter 💯

what is the difference of xdr traction than regular and translucent?
The PG5 traction is insane , favorite shoe of 2021 , has a kobe feel to it like a kobe 10 only with a kobe 9 traction, but i just ordered my curry8 lets see how they do, ive been hooping indoors on my PG 5 and they are a must have!
Compared to kd 12? How are they
@@martyjacqz7901 way better I’m not a fan of the 12 but the kd13 and pg5 are pretty close to each other
@@juscharles4112 kd 12 eere better than kd 13 for most..the size was way off the for the 13 way to snug. Kd 12 had a great bounce to them how is the pg 5
@@martyjacqz7901 the Pg5 is not bouncy like the kd12 but they have a better lock down and court feel and way better traction on a clean or dusty feel, I like more of that snug feel maybe that’s why I couldn’t get into the kd12 I played with a couple of times
take that back just bought the clyde all pro and they are way better the pg 5 and kd13
I sprained my ankle in game the 4th possession but I can tell you it had very good traction of rip.
If only they put the swoosh in the middle of the shoe, it would look so much better
In asia the nike shoes specifically has an XDR rubber outsole so the traction is super dope. So you don't worry if you are playing outdoor. 🙂
How is the xdr indoors?

nah xdr rubber outsole seems like a marketing strategy for me. I dont see any difference compared to other parts of area when it comes to nike’s material.
@@capybaravangogh7427 But my Kyrie flytrap II. I've been using it for alsmost 2 years both outdoor and indoor, and there was a minimal wearing off interms of rubber outsole.
@@SirArvinAleks nah kyrie flytrap 2 are naturally good. Try searching on google for the EP and non EP there are no flytraps that are non ep. If there is it must've be in yt now for the comparison

Materials hav gone down hill since the 3's, but the foam has gotten better, wish they could nail down the upper
Pg4 is comfortable but too much cushion for me to hoop in. Im Definitely going to try these out

I Nike by you’d these and I got the pink translucent outsole and it squeaks like crazy and has good traction on indoor courts

In between sizes? 11.5 is snug. Got feet scanned a while back and was recommended a 12. The PG4 I went with a 13. On the PG5, Should I go with a 12 or go with an 11.5 since these seem to run long? Regular footer.
I actually like hot the Pg5 turned out but this colorway isn't doing it for me, I'll wait for some more to come out

Go XDR for better outsole longevity: just 20$ dollars more
An honest question, does Nike really charge for XDRs? You're getting ripped by your retailer.
@@andyjor574 My honest answer: with 20$ more you can customize your entire shoes, not just the outsole. I think it's pretty fair. The standard PG 5 outsole is really soft with a very low durability if you play predominantly outside, and that's sucks 'cause overall is not a bad shoe (even if PG 4 was better in some areas).
I've heard a lot of people said it's just a gimmick lol

@Eddie Lee In Asia people play a lot outside. In Europe not so much. Well i mean, there are a few good playground, but before pandemic, i used to play in a good parquet indoor court. Good old days.
You have to move to a state with open gyms or get into a gym. These outdoor only tests are no help for picking a bball shoe. Move to Texas and I'll build a gym we can split!

@@thedude3140 Id say get XDR if you play outdoors no matter what. Sammy said the KD13s had good durability but I ran through them in under a month and he said these have horrible durability so its probably worse.
Get XDR if you can. It's almost always the better option no matter if you're balling indoors or outdoors.
Can someone tell a little bit more for fit and size about pg5? I have pg 4 and went half size up and they are still small for me
I would say go half a size up and maybe a full size up if you want more room

AD plays in Kobe 5s just fine. Really just up to you whatever feels good.
PG4 and Dame 7 were good for me last summer. Cushioning, impact protection were solid, my knees were thankful. +200 lbs, play for a few hours a session.

played in my pg5s in the past few days, damn it hurts my feet and legs, not a lot but it hurts after I played with it. also the mountain pieces in the lateral side hurt my pinky toe. and what I hate the most about the pg5s is its extremely hot shoe, I played at night time, indoor courts but its still damn hot, not a lot of ventilation. the only good thing about it is maybe the traction but i really cant play on those, its a hot shoe, it hurt my pinky toe which both annoyed me a lot, and not good in impact protection cause it hurt my knees and feet. i will just wear my pgs casually, i cant play on those
