This was a pretty good C-drama and the main lead couple had sweet chemistry. Admired the way the main ML was protective of the main FL (who was still somewhat headstrong while trying to deal with her insecurities due to abandonment issues). Although she was slow to believe and trust the ML's support and love, she did try to reciprocate and stepped out of her comfort zone and face situations in the best way she could. Would have liked to see the female lead be much braver, stronger and smarter in this story but I guess that the writers didn't want to do so. Seems to be a trend but looking forward to seeing more refreshing plotlines in the future. Enjoyed watching the scenes with the main FL's bestie...she was humorous, entertaining and so adorable! The main ML was good and I enjoy watching him in all his dramas and the main FL was sweet and cute in this one. On to the next!

After too many dramas with misunderstandings, blood drainage, drugging, organ trafficking, abuse, miscarriages and what not, drama is a fresher and a thousand times better. Subtitles need work. I liked this male lead character. It justifies his accomplishment unlike other CEO dramas where the CEO male lead is brainless and foolish. I liked this drama very much 😊

I love the ML. He looks so handsome. I really loved this drama. No abuse, no 2nd FL and so on. The usual things that happen in these dramas. This was pure, he knew he wanted her and took care of her. She had bad experiences with her parents and that's why she was such an insecure person. All in all, I really enjoyed watching this drama. I can only recommend it. ❤♥♥
Good communication for the win! This drama proves that good communication between leads does not hamper a good drama! Yes, she's reticent before they become a couple and doesn't need to share her reasons for her denial but overall there is good communication, especially once she starts to accept him. I squished and patted my cheeks in adoration of the cuteness their characters exuded together. I'm not usually for weak FLs but they made a credible backstory as to why she's more on the passive side when it comes to self defense. You could tell that she was strong despite not knowing/believing it, which made her a more interesting char.

This Ml was absolutely stunning, and I loved the chemistry he had with this pretty Fl. I loved the older man and younger woman scenario. The Fl found joy when she met the Ml who loved, protected and kissed her spontaneously. I hated that the Fl hesitated to love and commit to the Ml in fear that he would stop loving her as her evil ex and her family who never made time nor cared for her had. Others thought the Ml was cold and domineering, but his cold heart melted around the Fl and he showed his love for her in word and action. He even told her, nothing is more important than you, and he showed up every time she needed him! Such a great story of love, destiny and resilience. Well-acted and good ending.
I think it is good that she was naïve, but also not swept of her feet by him.
We know that he loves her, but she does not. Giving in to him, might make her end up as a mistress or a canary.
He better put a ring on her, now that everyone knows about them. And take her home to meet Grandpa.

The fl is sweet, gentle, and delicate, but she is not a pushover. She voices her opinions and stands up for herself. She is only passive towards her mother, which is very normal in Asian cultures and even more so in her case because she’s insecure of her emotional ties to family due to past trauma, and the male lead, knowing that was always afraid of scaring her and did not voice how much he wanted her until later. He fell in love with her at first sight and ever since then he has been protective and possessive over her, but not in a toxic way. Yes, he got jealous and kissed her, but for a man like him to lose control, only shows how much she got under his skin. And while he didn’t want to push her, he couldn’t hold his feelings when he realized he could lose her to someone else, so he needed to clarify and define their relationship and that he’s pursuing her romantically. He was patient, gentle, but also firm. He told to her to take as much time as she needs, but the result will always end with him because he’s confident no one will love her more than him and that she’s worth all that love. The ml deserves her so much. The best friend/ niece is supportive and wild, the dad is happy his son has someone he cares about after all these years of being single and aloof to women, the green tea tries to make a move (fails miserably and then wants revenge) - this drama is realistic. It shows that no matter who is around, love remains to be something between two people.

While the first half is a slow burn chasing, it is still humorous. But once confessed, I love how ML went into super sweet seductive mode ❤
When he said he decided to possess her, for second it felt scary to me. But later on as I found the depth of her abandonment issues, I think that's exactly what she needed.

@jigyasabhadouriya6955 The drama has full ending. We don't get the scenes of villains getting punished but I don't think that's necessary. He told her and took steps of how to deal with them and punish them.
Again we don't get the epilogue kind of scene where we have wedding so it might feel incomplete.

I always loved Wang Hao Zhen's drama, his acting always never failed me. As for the FL, watched a few of her drama, did not improve that much, always got that awkward acting thingy, kind of wasted because she's got a cute pretty look.

Anything with this actor is always good. The ending was cut slightly but, the outcome was predictable. All in all a good watch. It is really the story of a young lady who has been bounced around between parents who are divorced and both have new families. She is insecure in relationships as a result and she struggles to overcome her insecurities and develop a trusting relationship with ML. He recognizes the situation and works to build her trust.

@harusairenji it also felt like a rushed ending to me too! But looking at it again i believe can see they did clearly show future happiness and marriage for the two leads. 💕💕. I might be wrong, but i read the scene as this: ML when entering the room, spoke to his niece about the meal saying he came to invite her auntie (meaning the FL). The timing of his entrance implying he had also heard all of the good things FL had said about her feelings for him. After his niece had hurried out of the room with the excuse she was running to dinner, FL said to ML that she was not properly called auntie, ML smiled and said it just sooner or later her name (as he gave her a piece of candy).
If the girl really likes him why make him loose face like that 😡😡😡
