I think so too. She is so much more than just a singer. She’s a songwriter, a performer, an actress, and an artist with a vivid imagination. Just look at her music videos and live performances and the artistic flare she puts into them. It’s no wonder she had to leave 5H to go solo. She needed more freedom to express herself. I don’t know why people still hate her for that.

C'mon people...you really think Simon remembers Camila's audition. He could barely remember people who came back the next year after making it all the way to judges houses or the six chair challenge. He loves to take credit for things he had little hand in. The cigarette story may have happened but it could have been any female contestant but he says it's Camila to make it more than it was.
Camila made it a lot further in the competition than that. And Camila's story of what happened lines up with what Simon said here.

If only they were given a chance to show ther Hidden Talent, Normani Kordei will Stan .. Even though she has a Light , Melodic Voice, She can do some Whistle Voice and good at Runs & Riffs ..
