When young Fan zhendong was matched with wang, wang asked fan “I’ve never won a gold medal ( for the Olympics), do you mind having a runner-up as your coach?” And fan said wang has always been his first choice. Fast forward 2024, fan brings home his first gold in the Olympics men’s single, an emotional and long awaited win for both fan and his coach wang hao. Big up to little fatty and wang hao!
