The story begins among the buildings of the famous architect Leonardo Ricci. On the olive hill, the stones are the only immovable thing in the midst of shimmering liveliness.
Time flows, present and past become blurred. The friendship between a theologian and an architect left seeds between the stones where wonderful things grow to this day.
The first part of a trilogy atmospherically and poetically tells of the work of the diaconal centre Servizio Cristiano in one of the poorest areas of Europe, Riesi in Sicily.
Since its foundation in 1961 Servizio Cristiano has been working for education and justice and resisting the mafia.
