Amazing place, Broome with loads of history, I worked up there for a month in the Commonwealth Employment Service office in 1985. Only had a bicycle, but i got around. I'm not a good fisherman but caught the only big fish of my life - a Queenie off the jetty with a handline. Went back with the kids for a holiday in the late 90's and went to the Malcolm Douglas croc farm and around the beaches and Gantheume point. Stuck in Canberra now, get to tool around the Brindabella ranges in my 4WD, but nothing like what you have on your doorstep. Enjoying your vids.
Thanks very much for watching Mate It would’ve been a lot more laid back back in those days. They’re making a new jetty out at town beach that should be interesting to fish off when they finished it. You can’t do much fishing off the main jetty any more as they’ve got it closed off and you can’t go right out to the end. I used to live in Canberra as well as a kid. We used to go driving around up in the bush. There’s some great rivers to camp next to 🤠👍🇦🇺
