So if you get it a scat right now for a 17% interest rate then make your payments on time, build your credit and try to refinance then they will give you that money so you pay off that loan and now you have a loan through them at a like 10% interest rate. I ordered a 2023 TA Scatpack Widebody in central California, 650 miles away from where I live because they said yes to no markup. They have around 7-8 2022 SP’s on their lot still, a few are wide bodies. “So rare” 🤦🏻♂️

I paid 8000 over MSRP on my dodge Durango hellcat. Most places I went to or cold I want to 25,000 over 15,000 over and 10,000 over the one place that actually had my exact model cola etc. in stock told me 8000 over and I bought it, let’s face it if you’re buying $100,000 car and this Durango had an MSRP over 100,000 another 8000 if it kills you you shouldn’t be buying a car in the first place and I wasn’t taking any color or any interior I wanted what I wanted, and they just so happen to have my exact match do I regret it not a bit the only car I ever paid over MSRP and I’ve owned a dozen six-figure cars in the past. The interest rates are high right now, even for perfect credit and yes, I did finance it. It’s a heavy write off for my business. And before somebody ask, why didn’t I pay for cash that’s simple. My cash works for me and makes more than 7% interest Waymore like triple so that makes no sense.
Talking about Dealer MARKUPS.. A lot of dealers have PULL THE PLUG in giving you a Veterans Discount Repeat Customer Discount. Mopar Loyalty Discounts. I also live in the North East and I contacted dealers 1,000.00 miles away from my home. They will Not Budge on their inflated $$$ for all of the Dodge Models. They use what they call FAIR MARKET VALUE. basically selling it for as much as they think they can get. This applies to NEW & PRE OWNED cars
I just recently had a guy do this to me earlier...He won't budge on the price and keeps saying that he's taking a loss if he does. But it sounds like a contradiction when his sale description says "open to offers", and he's not looking for any money back.

Why do we get charged a SHIPPING FEE when the car is already on the lot and it was ordered by the dealer. You MIGHT THINK you are not being charged a markup but they will sneak in $$$$$ anyways . Even M.S.R.P is way too high
You are supposed to pay tax based on the state where you are registering the vehicle, bot buying. It is also important to note you should pay the sales tax up front if you are doing a loan on the vehicle, because you will be charged interest on the taxes if you apply them to the loan.

I’m 73 years old and I currently own a 2016 Charger HellCat that we purchased brand new from Gator Chrysler in Melbourne Florida back in October of 2016. The vehicle still looks like it did when we purchased it in 2016, inside and outside and it only has 31K on it. I’m considering selling it and buying a 2023 Charger HellCat wide body but I be Damned if I will pay over MSRP for and vehicle that’s manufactured. Hollow back at me okay.

While I understand, my bank actually told me the value of the vehicle was higher than the MSRP I paid. So it is very situational.

It’s as easy as asking them to remove any markups. If not, get corporate on the phone and report them. That’s how I got my scat pack at msrp
