I read the 1/1.4 and 1/1.28 as just 1.4 and 1.28... my mistake of course as I forgot that these are written in inverse... It's the fact that these the sizes are written in fractions and the fractions with a smaller number in the denominator is larger is what totally slipped my damn mind😂😂
The Find X8 Pro main camera sensor is not bigger than the X200P, the X8 pro uses the LYT-808 at 1/1.4' and the X200P uses the LYT-818 at 1/1.28'. That's a fairly large size difference and might explain why the X200P resolves detail better. The reason the X200P does much better at zoom ranges above 6x compared to the X8P is because the 6x sensor on the X8P is honestly pretty dissapointing hardware wise. It's using a 1/2.51' sensor at an aperture of f4.3 with a total of 50mp, compared to Vivo's 3.7x 1/1.4' sensor at an aperture of f2.67 with 200mp. I miss what Oppo was doing with the earlier Find X series with hardware at the absolute peak.
I myself have X8P and the choice for that over X200 is better thermals and since I've had some OP phones over the years, I like the ColorOS. Just a bit of shame that they didn't put in "better" hardware, but yeah, smaller depth on camera house is a big plus for me aswell, since having Oppo X6P, Xiaomi 14Ultra they bulge out quite a bit.
I like #OPPOFindX8Pro photos. #OPPO is much better than #VivoX200Pro and gives more balanced shots except macro. #VivoX200Pro is only better in Macro. #OPPOFindX8Series
@@martynbrough6162 no the one plus has 3 lenses same as oppo.what it lacks is 6x lens which honestly a disappointing lens that the crop of 3 x is better than the 6x.not that much different in image processing as hazelblade is the one taking care of it.the only main difference is the color science used .
Did you see lens flare issue in Vivo x200 pro ? I can produce that issue AT WILL if I stand below a street light and face the camera to the scene infront of me slightly tilted upwards
I don't like the fact that many of tech youtubers try to tell people that smaller sensor is not a problem. I understand that vivo gave them phones so they don't want to bite the hand that feeds them but come on. There are comparisons between x100u and x200 pro where you can clearly see the difference in main sensor. More light, more fine details. You cannot defend step back especially when with smaller sensor you get more processing but less quality.
Vivo didn't give me s**t my dude... I don't know Abt other comparisons... But based on my experience the sensor size problem is miniscule... It's not ideal as I mentioned in the video... A downgrade shouldn't be acceptable... But we should also understand that better sensor tech and software can easily make up for the differences... Some of my future comparisons will showcase that as well
if you wanna get best camera on night/dark you must choice VIVO X200 Pro, but if you wanna get best camera on the day/bright you must choice OPPO FX8Pro
Thing people forget is while yes the China rom is similar price , the global roms are at least 150 USD difference, so they aren't in the same price bracket. X8 pro is good value
Are we sure the smaller sensor is indeed a downgrade? What if newer technology lets it gather the same amount of light as the previous 1" sensor? Is the 1" using double stacked tech? Maybe a comparison in ultra low light would give all the answer we possibly need...
I think the biggest difference between a 1inch main sensor and the 1/1.3" sensor (used in X200P) happens when you digitally zoom to 2x. Please include the performance of the 2x digital zoom (using the main cam) in future comparisons. That is where the sensor size difference really shows. I saw this when 2x samples were compared between the X100U and X200P, there was a big difference in details.
@Getquora where? I have vivo 200x pro and oneplus 12 and oneplus similar to Oppo and 1+ photo in overall have parity with vivo. I'm comparing it with a calibrated monitor with delta 0.7 Ofc telephoto above 3x in vivo and Oppo is better
I like #OPPOFindX8Pro photos. #OPPO is much better than #VivoX200Pro and gives more balanced shots except macro. #VivoX200Pro is only better in Macro. #OPPOFindX8Series Oppo also better for video.
The find x8 pro has a slightly smaller sensor as opposed to x200 pro... I forgot that sensor sizes are supposed to be read in inverse😂😂
That is not inverse. 1/1.4= 0.714
1/1.28= 0.781
That is normal math. Vivo sensor is bigger. 🙏

Damn... You're right... I forgot the sensor sizes are in inverse😂😂
They're probably keeping the best for the ultra. My bet.
The video comparison with both would be great bro, thanks for this detailed comparison😁
Yes also compare them with samsung and iphones..

Best ever channel for mobile camera review, second to none, I will always and always be your fan :)
Great video you are pro 👏
Great video! We'd love to see the x200 pro against the S24 Ultra.
Great video as always. Another good comparison would be Oppo X8 pro Vs OnePlus 13 😁
It's same phone and same sensor.no difference in picture quality.but may be different in colour profile .that's all
@hitmarker777 they are different. Different processing and 1 has 2 lenses the other has 4

funtouch vs color os , which do you like better?
Funtouch would be my pick
@thetechphenomena Thank you
Can you compare x100 pro human portraits with x200 pro?
really interested in a XIaomi 14 Ultra vs X200 Pro!

Compare OP13 vs Oppo since they both got their updates to improve camera

Let's compare with x100 pro..
Hi bro ... In India we have a silent killer phone from Honor... The honor magic 6 pro. I request you to share a video on this phone too please.

2x sensor crop was in the comparison... At 7:00
Oppo are better in daylight bcoz of it natural approaching. In harsh conditions vivo oversharpening in favor of oppo and mute sunlight reflections.
Oppo lost 😊
