Andy Serkis is so impossibly adorable. Too bad he won't be in the other two films. Except behind the camera, of course.
What a pleasant, refreshing guy this interviewer is. It is clear that the cast members he interviewed, responded to his genuineness and also his well thought out questions. You're the man Jake!
I love how Hamilton in these interviews doesn't ever ask a standard question but really thinks about every actor and their character and works out the most interesting questions to ask. Very well done Sir.
Richard Armitage knows his lore!
I really enjoyed this interview. The questions asked were truly interesting and proved that Hamilton understood the depth of series. You could see how the actors were genuinely surprised, and answered with passion. Great work!

That's so cool when Richard says he was in 8th grade too, and it became more like to guys reminiscing about their teenage life rather than a formal interview :)
Always so nice to see these actors in interviews about these movies, even all this time later. They've been a big part of my life. Whenever I've gone through a hardship, these are my "go to" diversions. So much amazing talent went into making these movies that it's truly astonishing. There was real artisanship involved in every aspect. I would've loved to have a job behind the scenes, just making things.
Martin Freeman is too underrated, he is such a great actor who deserves more awards and honors.

I remember going to the cinema with my uncle to see Fellowship of the Ring, i remember i hadn't read any of the books back then and i kept annoying my uncle with questions during the movie, but from that day began my everlasting love for LOTR.
Interviewer: "How's this going?", "Yeah I don't like you either" says Martin with the straightest face ever.

I got to meet Andy Serkis ten years ago, at a convention. Definitely one of my favourite actors/people to this day! Deserves an award for his talent!

Best interveiws I've seen so far. It's awesome to see some imagination put into the questions, since most of the other interviewers ask the same four questions over and over again. Intelligent, fun questions, and your reactions are so genuine. A pleasure to watch!

He does a wonderful job as an interviewer. Comfortable, funny, obviously makes his guests think, but also feel comfortable too, and he rolls with the punches when he gets interesting answers to the questions. And he does his homework. Great interviews!

Ian McKellen has been to my school...Just though I'd say. He gave a speech to my whole school it was amazing. We have his speech quoted on our walls somewhere. He is da bomb.

Finally!! An interviewer that is not a complete moron.. I feel like too many of 'The Hobbit' interviews had stupid people asking the actors stupid questions... this is very refreshing and the actors are sooo amazing!!
I came here for Martin Freeman, but the interviewer won me over. Seriously, he's one of the most enthusiastic interviewers I've ever seen. It was quite refreshing. Job well done, mate.
it was a great interview to watch. jake's questions are so on point, interesting, and he asks 'nerdily', if I may, in a good way. the casts are great persons, there was no awkward moment, everything straight, just awesome. not many have managed to do such a thing, I think.
