The much better version. This song just benefited from this longer timeframe. I still listen to this version a lot. (edit) Not only that, but the final version was remixed to take all of the oomph out of the song. This arrangement is far better!
Just found this one - this is one of the few examples where I enjoy the revamped and translated version more. The original seems a bit off sometimes, don't know why.
I love the Eurovision revamp & performance, but even if this original version is better and her vocals are ok, the whole staging idea is a little bit embarrassing for a 17 years old girl. She was there alone up in the stage without knowing what to do in the instrumental moments, just waiting her turn to sing again, with no dance or something that captivates the viewer. Luckily she and the melody line were good enough to win.
oops so sorry for that triple post, didn't mean to, it was lag.. anyway your country has shown many times that they know how to make music and this should do well unless it gets really really tough opposition..ok shouldn't say too much yet since not many have chosen their songs yet, but this is good. eastern europe have had the best songs I think (also consider I'm from the west saying this) the last years and it might continue that way. Greetings from Sweden
oh you have already chosen your song? it's quite good hope she sings it in her native language too, cause it's a language I've come to like a lot..I prefer ESC songs in the native languages anyway..I voted for your song last year with Olta, it's not impossible that I'll do the same next year cause I think I like this again(: and you have been one of the countries I've liked by far the most in the ESC since you joined, I've liked your songs all times except one I think (2007).
Recuerdo que en ese tiempo pensaba que seria fatal en el festival ya que no sabe bailar y que seria desastroso, y me sorprendio en Rusia con tanta seguridad y hasta coreografía
She sounds extremely good....she doesnt have that stage presence though, needs to work on dancing and stuff, especially if its a high energy song like this one.....still good song though.
Probably yes... Violins really sound like they are playing live, but a good part of the instrumental base sounds pre-recorded... Specially listen to the first seconds of the music track; the beat and everything. I don't think that can be played like that live
Bad Song?? Until I hear the final version of Hadise's eurovision song cuz i heard that was a demo, i think this song will win between the two, Dum Tek Tek gets tiring to hear cuz it repeats over and over and the tune is the same, there is no nuance like this song slow then fast...
well probably wont make it to final if she doesnt start moving a bit to show us what kind of song she sings. she stands there at 1.40-2.10 just moving her head:P needs many corrections but i really dont like the song..
Why is the music of these kind of songs always the same. make something different. it's not a usual song and the intro is nice, plus she has a nice voice, but the music is so.... arg... it's too simple, too easy, this song could have been much better
she looks so awkward/bored with those none-ending instrumentals, and it sounds like some outdated village song from the 60s. It was the right decision to have some modern music-professional attempt to remaster this mess before eurovision but the performance there was still strange.
Wow, I adore the Albanian version! Kejsi is such a talented singer and so young here. :D
I remember this, was so in love with this Girls who's 1 Day older than me!
Albanian is a very beautiful language, I must say

Fun fact: Besa Kokedhima, from Eurovision 2024, was 4th in that albanian festival
she won the competition to become a singer in albania ..she sings beautifully
Shum shum bukur ..Kejsi Tola vetem vazhdo..
it looks so old for 2009. Still an amazing song and outstanding singer
mostly becuase alot of old FiK performances are low quality

En effet
Vraiment partout
i dont understand why you would have a non dancer doing a dance track? the song is good but maybe have some dancers in the back ground.
She's 16
Danny699 no shes not shes 27 lol
lol you do realise this comment is 11 years old xD

i agree, she should dance like really good cuz this song sounds like a party song, so she should dance like Helena did in 2005
i like it

how old is she?
She is 16
2018?
yes i agree that albanian version is better.
VOTE FOR SWEDEN, MALATA AND ICELAND
Are you insane?
She sings good.
Was this a combination of both playback and the live orchestra?
Probably yes... Violins really sound like they are playing live, but a good part of the instrumental base sounds pre-recorded... Specially listen to the first seconds of the music track; the beat and everything. I don't think that can be played like that live

I'd say for me it's a 6 pointer

it's absolute noice pollution!!!!!!!!!
i liked olta better
Well she needs some singing lessons and its a minute too long, so they need to cut a lot of it out.
she looks so awkward/bored with those none-ending instrumentals, and it sounds like some outdated village song from the 60s. It was the right decision to have some modern music-professional attempt to remaster this mess before eurovision but the performance there was still strange.
Agree
lol..
Latvia won't participate in 2009!
