Much appreciated! Good luck getting started :) Shell commands are the same, but for any external programs you'll still need to install them (playerctl etc). Most of what I cover is not distro specific, and this script in particular can be adapted to run on a different statusbar.

Habe ja Luke seine konfiguration anpassen wollen und bin jetzt an einem Punkt meine eigenen Schriftarten zu Patchen um die gesamte Konfiguration zu vereinfachen. Vielleicht kennst du Worarroungs dafür und hast mir ein Tipp wo ich ansetzen kann. Have you ever dealt with the typewriters? I've been wanting to make Luke adjust his configuration, and at some point I'm going to patch my own fonts to simplify the entire configuration. Maybe you know about this topic and you have a tip on where to start.

And then there's a confusion, and I think about that, and I'm going to put all the symbols and bracelets together, and then I'm going to put them together, and then I'm going to make it easier to configure. I've been struggling with it for a long time and I still don't know how it works or I can't reproduce the results or the configuration is unstable... The main focus is on the presentation of TUI applications.
I just looked at my config.h because I had a similar problem a few years ago when I tried dwm. I have my `*fonts[] = {JetBrains..., Noto Color Emoji Regular...}`. I see his github config.h has `{monospace..., NotoColorEmojiRefular...} I don't know if the spaces make a difference. I built dwm 6.4 commit 348f6559 from Feb. 20234&. I see his dwm was bumped to 6.4 but the hashes are different so IDK if my info will help or not. Putting the font you want first in the array might solve it for you. I figure being checked first could get them to show. I know of nested xservers like Xephyr and Xnest for testing applications but IDK of any nested WM.

For dwm, the fonts can just be set in config.h, is that not working for your build..? Unless you were asking about fonts elsewhere
