Hello everyone.... Good news I have some new local permissions so I will be back to weekly videos now I have the land and the rain is getting better! I hope its getting better where you live too :-)
Oh my goodness, what a wonderful day! The flint you found was awesome! The colors were stunning. I so enjoyed the tour of the castle! Thanks so very much!❤❤❤
Your bee was a solitary bee and they start to come out of hibernation now, therefore they tend to be a bit woozy? Great couple days out for you Dawn, never mind that you never found any treasure, but the fresh air is good for the soul? Good luck on your next dig! ❤️🤞
On Kit and Caboodlers channel, they showed a similar bee that looked disoriented, and Kate gave it some kinda sugar syrup out of a tube on her keyring, called Revive a bee. It drank it readily and then regained its strength to fly away. Never saw anything like that. Good seeing you out enjoying the weather and friends.
What a treat Dawn... a sunny weekend in Norfolk. Hope you got some of the world famous Wells fish and chips while you were there? Lucky to see the tide in otherwise it's just a sprawl of mudflats. Inspired me to visit Binham Priory, so thank you❤
@@DiggerDawn I grew up in Norfolk so it's full of nostalgia for me, so steeped in ancient history too. Shame you didn't get any epic finds, but like you said, a beautiful place just to be. Love to you and Chris, and fab news re. your co-host spot on The Big Detecting Show... mabes we can hook up on the show one day... it'd be a hoot!🤦♀️🤣❤️
I used to love going metal detecting, and made a few reasonable finds. I got very disenchanted with rallies though. They were great for meeting people and having a laugh, but as far as finding anything they were pretty useless. So often it was obvious from the finds coming out, that the site had been seeded, and there was little to be found of any value, and what you did find was often a broken artifact. They were also getting more and more expensive with people running them as a business.
Dawn, you're absolutely right! Sometimes, it's just about getting out doing what you love and having a good time doing it! Keep up the digity dance and dig, dig, dig.✌️😊
Thank you Miss Dawn. Sure wish my prediction had come true for you. But…. There’s always next week if the good Lord’s willing and the creek don’t rise as we say here lol. Glad you and Cris had a great time, that’s what really matters. ❤️🌹
That pound looked like a cartwheel in your tiny hands. The bumble bee are solitary insects and orange is the norm not very often you see them this time of year. Awesome to see you out and about made my morning cheers d
Don’t apologize for ‘not showing’ anything! You showed a baffled bee,who woke up to early, because of the warmth, and finding nothing to eat! But the BEST showing was at 15:25. The Full English breakfast. I have eaten only about 10 of these mindblowing morning feasts, never had a bad one. I only ate it on days when I knew I was going to burn through a LOAD of calories!!
Your enthusiasm is so wonderful! I love how much you enjoy the hobby, it can be Entirely a pain in the ass some days!! GL &HH on your next adventure!!!
Lovely entertaining video, loved the monetary, the bee could been a Hornet which is a bigger version to a bee and more dangerous, they get tired and do not fly when they got to much pollen on their legs , look forward to next video
Hi Dawn , Norfolk is a place where we have had many a great holiday its a great part of the country . Glad you had a great weekend and keep up the good work.
That was interesting. Near the end though that statue at the olde monistary looked very old,, but sorta z style. The coins eluded you both. Never mind nice to get out and about.
I think I have worked out what the new Garrett Storm is, I think its a light weight version of the old Whites Spectra V3i. That would make sense. Thanks.
Too bad you didn't find handfuls of hammered coins, but it looks like you enjoyed the weekend 👍 I loved the priory. Too bad Henry had to run around destroying so many churches.
Great video dawn Norfolk is a great place to detect but it’s hit and miss and definitely full of flint I’ve lived in the area for years just up the road from grimes graves it’s a Prehistoric flint mine and never found a pice of worked flint there’s just loads of it everywhere. how was the A14 on your travel 😂🤣😂
