that makes sense because in beavers theory the lady absorbs the souls of visitors and their meat attracts more visitors etc. but the childrens bodies are too small to eat, so i guess they get sent to the Nest, the cycle repeats...
I think that the Girl we played was a living human child. I think the Little Mistress of The Nest has the ability to destroy living humans (as we see when Beaver is caught at the end), and that is why she is so lonely. This is also why the Craftsman builds her an army of "friends" in the form of dead children, because the Little Mistress always ends up killing her friends and this makes her sad. This is also why she is crying at the end, because though this 'friend' was not living, she in essence killed them too by taking their head off.
W o o p story time y’all This was a prequel, remember that through everything I’m typing. This takes place BEFORE the Maw. Through everything, all research and teasers, the child we played as is referred to as ‘The Girl in the Yellow Raincoat’. Not Six. As you progress, there’s a kid we see multiple times, also helping us in the climax battle with the owner of the Nest (I call her the Mistress, for simplicity). Now, back to that later. The Girl looks like she has the same traits as Six and the Runaway Kid. Being clever and tough, and with a nice fashion sense ;) Back to the ending. As the Mistress and the Girl tumble off the cliff, we see that the Girl has deep, chocolatey brown hair, worn in a long braid. After crashing into the water, neither surface again. Only... the raincoat. That iconic raincoat. The kid we helped/helped us in the ending also fits a certain description of someone we know... Six is confirmed to wear white shorts beneath the coat. She has short, scruffy black hair in a bob cut. Pale mocha skin tone. This kid fits all those traits. That’s because we were never, NEVER playing as Six. Thinking back to when the trailer was released, they said in the post: “A new place, new monsters, new story, and a new- oops, we can’t mention that yet!” They were referring to the fact we were an entirely new character. That kid? That was our Six. We were witnessing the Nest through the P.O.V. of the Girl. ... that took way too long to type
Does that mean this could indeed be the hunters mansion and shack, because james went in a shack in the game...who is the little girl in the raincoat if the other girl at the end takes the raincoat from the river and puts it on, is this shadow six into a doll?
Alright. I'm blown away. Theories time (that noone's gonna read anyway, cause it was uploaded a while ago. But if you do - please stay till the end since it gets interesting. Thanks!) Correct me if I'm wrong, but there are some *very strong* connections and similarities between Little Nightmares and Very Little Nightmares. Let's not focus now on the "Six not being Six" thing, and focus more at whole piece. We have the Maw - with the Lady that rules the whole place, surrounds herself with staff (Jaintor & Chefs) and guests (main guests and the gnomes). We also have the Nest - with the Girl that rules the whole place, surrounds herself with staff (Butler & Craftsman) and guests (little kids/dolls and the gnomes.) In the Maw we have the adult guests that the Lady commands to turn into soulless meat. In the Nest we have the kids that the Girl commands to turn into soulless dolls. If you think about the word "Nest" all you can imagine is the refuge for the baby birds and their parents coming to feed them. Maw is something like 'jaw', and how exactly baby birds are being fed? Through the *MAW.* Now, imo the whole NEST place is just a 'kid's version' of the Maw since the Lady is a mother of the White Haired Girl. It's like the Maw FEEDS the Nest. No, literally. Someone in the comments below pointed out how the Jaintor wraps the kids up in a cloth after catching them and sends them *up* through the hooks. What if this is the way Lady wants to keep in contact with her daughter? Bodies of kids are sent to the Nest (because we clearly see that kid's bodies aren't used to prepare meals.) by a Jaintor. The Craftsman recives them, undresses them, washes their clothes, recreates them into dolls (skin tanning tools), and give them to the Girl as a gift from her mother! Now you can say "but what's with the gnomes? Why are some of them killed and some of them turned into gnomes?" Well, we clearly know that the gnomes were once kids - no surprise there, BUT what if I told you, that the gnomes were ACTUALLY HER KIDS? In the Nest you can see the little bedroom with gnomes jumping on the bed. This is the only place in a whole game where there are so many of them. Right next to that room, is a small bathroom with little toilets and sinks... What if the dolls are somehow a form of *a compensation* from mother to daughter, for losing the rest of her siblings? Now let's think - The Lady and the Hanging man somehow may lose all of their kids (possibly through the mirrors - like in the comics) BUT ONE. The father hangs himself leaving a letter to the Lady and she keeps it a secret (It is in a secret room in the actual game). She gets even more upset and desperately wants to keep the last girl safe so she separates her from herself. But instead of helping her daughter she gets caught in the Little Nightmare herself. From now on she must lure more and more people into the Maw. She sents the dolls to compesate herdaughter her dead simblings, but she also has to lure other people to keep the Maw going. (You know... luring? Like a mother bird lures a food for her babies? No? Alright.) After we kill the Lady we take over HER curse on US, because there's nobody else there, since her last daughter is dead for a long time now. It's like uncovering the WHOLE new part of the story, and it's more than just "Six not being Six" anymore, It is all falling to place! ^^ I just wish someone would read that, maybe it would help someone to make a theory video ^^
I did read it, and...I don't think mother birds hunt via lures. Anyhow, it's as good a theory as any and does seem to fit; there are a lot of parallels, just as you said. I wish we could confirm that the Spoiled Girl were really related to the Geisha---the question I'd like an answer to is: how do little children become the bloated monsters we see the adults as? ...Or did the whole game of Little Nightmares answer that question, as Six made increasingly desperate and morally questionable decisions until the consequences of those decisions corrupted her?
I just realized that the picture of "the tall man with a hat" was actually the thin man from little nightmares 2. He was leaked in secrets of the maw at the end credits and in the photo here.
I has theory. The White Girl in the single child of a wealthy family and lives in the Nest which is (probably cuz they were so close to water in the game) a mansion that is built by the edge of a cliff near the sea. Six and The Girl in The Yellow Raincoat are servants to the White Girl along with a handful of other children. Her dad commited suicide and he might be connected to the hot air balloon (idk) She left the Craftsman and the Butler with her so she was taken care of. The Craftsman makes her toys and the Butler keeps everything and everyone in check (he does chores too) Yellow Raincoat would work outside in the gardens since she was given a raincoat and Six must have been a personal handmaid since she doesn't have one. Yellow Raincoat decided to escape but she doesn't know that Six wanted to do the same (or she did and they were planning an escape idk). So they escape or try to when Yellow Raincoat found White Girl crying at a bench cuz she broke her doll. White Girl starts chasing her and Yellow Raincoat dies. Six keeps the raincoat as a memory and she runs to the city (based in the comics). Then, the Ferryman picks her up. Sry for the text wall. Thought this sounded pausible. 😝😝
This might actually be supported throughout the first game; it's easy to notice that even though we don't get much personality or character from... well, anyone, it's evident that Six holds a cold and distant attitude, and violently pushes others away and only cares for herself. Thinking back to this game... it makes sense. Think about it from Six's angle: The Girl in the Yellow Raincoat was the closest she had to a friend, which isn't that good since The Raincoat Girl initially left her to die by locking her out of the shed 25:07, but The Girl still saved Six from what was almost a guaranteed death even though The Girl was already running for her own life 27:52. We know Six was definitely grateful, feeling willing to save The Girl back minutes later (or at least try at 28:16). And yet... The Girl still dies regardless, either killed by the fall or by the silver-haired woman beneath the surface. Six watched the only person she could potentially call a friend or even an ally die in front of her despite doing all she could for her. Makes sense, then, that she would find it difficult if not impossible to reach out and find allies for support from then on, she's already witnessed someone important die after both gave it their all. Then, combined with her later desperation to not starve to death and her hatred for both The Maw and The Lady, and Six's disregard for other lives in favor of her own has a root.

My theory is the other girl cant touch people because you will disintegrate .But if she uses dolls they aren’t human so they won’t disintegrate. Thats why she is upset when a doll breaks. The dolls are her friends.
Wait a minute if u look a little closer to "five"/ the character u are playing as...when she was falling to the ocean( 28:32 )... you can see her hair which is tied to a braid... Then look the runaway girl who left the flashlight for the runaway kid during the dlc... U can see that they both have the same hair and they can escape as good as six and the runaway kid ... What if "five" survived the fall and ended up in the maw and tried to escape the maw just like six and the runaway kid?! Makes sense? No ok... I tried XD it's just my opinion
I think the mistress and the girl we've been playing as , are both dead at the end and Six (the girl in white) took the raincoat and escaped to the city where the Ferryman caught her and took her to the maw. I donnow but that to me sounds the most legitimate storyline that's in coordination with the DLC's and the main game and also the comics. God I looove love this game so much and can never get enough of the theories.
The sad things is how either she somehow survived or she did in fact get eaten by a slug Is like she escaped death once but not a second time in the maw... unless shes somehow another entity entirely that guides..?? so the runaway girl didnt die of the leach, she might of climbed over the fence the other way instead of going to the water, and then she couldve found a raft and sailed to the nest... but where did the raincoat come from? Before I saw that bit after the credits I had a theory.. The white haired girl looked like she was eating the other person rather than berating them, made me think of the hunger. Also in the little nightmares game you see a lot more of Six's legs, showing the raincoat doesn't fit her as well because she's taller. Though there is the issue of hair colour and the after-credits scene
i think i have an idea to this confusing dilemma,here goes .So beaver has established how "we the players are a doll who was been through a maniacal experience". now being a doll we cannot fear human emotions but from what evidence we are given we are a very intelligent doll.we later learn of our fate and pave the path for the real protagonist of the story that being six, to answer one on beaver's question "who indeed was six" and why was IT alive in the first place,we've already dissected the grim death of a man who probably couldn't bear his misdeeds and from VLN we know that the little mistress who we fight at the end is in some way related to the geisha/lady and the hanged man also know as the scientist supposedly but where is six role in this well maybe the reason he hanged himself was because he was the one responsible for six's insatiable hunger since we know he is a scientist who is to say that six wasn't one of his test subjects or even his own daughter .this could explain her powers and six's hunger but maybe there's more to this story ?And if there is ,it's a pretty juicy one at that back to the matter the mistress why is she so captivated in playing with dolls and why when she touches doll six we disappear. Lets say she was a test subject along with the other dolls but maybe they weren't dolls it could be possible that they're were human but maybe they weren't successful test subjects and the mistress was the only one who didn't fail a successful test subject who later on became his daughter in the game we know that the little mistress really really has an obsession with dolls OR maybe those dolls are her dead friends feeling lonely she used her powers to turn the dead children in to lifeless dolls and she seems to care for them alot especially the one that breaks maybe that particular doll wasn't just a friend what if it was her brother if it is that explains why she cried for him when we stumble upon her we can clearly see she is suffering from the pain of this doll being broken and the angry toward doll six is not uncommon for someone going through the stages of grief after all she did just lost someone close to her. The game ends with doll six sacrificing herself or itself for six we are lead to believe that doll six and the little mistress both plummet to what seems to be their deaths but what if the little mistress never died what if she survived i mean she did survive a boulder falling on her so it is safe to assume that she could have survived the fall but what about doll six well unfortunately she wasn't fast enough to evade the mistress and was erased from existence now back to the mistress maybe she to fled to the maw but before she went to the maw maybe she evolved into something more of a horrendous creature maybe when she boarded the maw her youth may have been drained by the geisha who wouldn't recognize her due to her transformation from being in the water all the time after being drained of her youth she would also survive that of course cause this is little nightmares she survived and became an old hag having all of her beauty stripped away from her she isolated herself from everything dragging herself deep down in the maw a place where it is secluded a place where no one other than herself could reach i am talking about the depths of course what is the little mistress is the granny think about it when you first encounter her she is sitting in a chair play with what looks like the silhouette of a tiny person but you can see that it is a doll even before you enter her chambers you see a doll in the box and who else loves playing with dolls you guessed it the mistress and further evidence is there the fact that when she hears the runaway kid she immediately want to pull him in for a tight embrace and she never gives up in the pursuit in capturing him but why would she want to do that maybe she saw the doll from her pass who reminded her of what she had lost so long ago her brother and speaking of the runaway kid he's probably a doll mainly because we never see him eat,sleep or anything.Anyways that was my theory a beaver theory.
Plot twist: the french lady is six, the nest is an event happening after the maw, that explains her powers and behavior. She is sad because she is allone, most other children didnt escape the maw (im guessing it has a new owner), so she makes dolls to keep her company.
Ok so I think that the doll (aka the fake Six i guess) was some kind of friend to Six (the girl at the end) Ok this is gonna be very hard to say But the fake Six I'll call Five saved the girl or the real Six and ended up dieing because of The Lady's daughter So maybe Six killed the The Lady because her daughter killed her friend (Well "friend" because we locked her out and ended up saving her so maybe it's because a favor to Five??), and it's obvious that Six is the girl because when we played Five she didn't feel any hunger at all, and maybe she also took the raincoat to remember Five bye or to not forget what she's fighting for.Also other thing when Five was falling to the water she had I think a black and red scarf like most of the other dolls (I don't know for sure I didn't really pay attention so i could be wrong on that part ^^') alright I guess I'm done, I'll update when I can think of anything else.
I like how the only character that has a proper “happy” ending is Six in the main game. With the Runaway kid being eaten and the raincoat girl in this game disintegrating and all.
Perhaps the white haired girl was upset that her dolls were just dolls, and wanted an actual friend to play with, and so someone gave life to a doll, which becomes this game's six. But the doll didn't want to play with her, because it realized that she was spoiled or rude, which the girl disliked and so banished her. Before she saw "six" in the end, she was crying, possibly because she is so lonely. She seeing the doll made her feel worse because maybe giving something life is hard, while taking life away from something is difficult. So she decided to kill the doll.
Something funny is that in the synopsis of the game on the bandai page refer to the protagonist as a girl in the yellow raincoat and not as six as if they did in the synopsis of the main game
Loads of people have come to the conclusion that the girl we save is Six and that we were just playing as another child. However, many people have come to believe that the child we play as in this game is the Lady's daughter. Here's the reasoning behind this: In the main game in the Lady's quarters there was a painting in her room above the vase where the key is hidden, of a child wearing a yellow raincoat. Because of this painting people then drew conclusions that Six was the Lady's daughter but then Tarsier said no that wasn't the case which disproved that theory. But then people started to get confused about the painting, why does the Lady have what appears to be a painting of six next to her bed if they're not related, and what's with the painting in the guest area of a girl and the Lady standing together? Well it turns out that that is a completely different girl, her model was found in the game's data and it looked quite different to Six's model. They had longer and thinner hair compared to Six, and with the painting in the Lady's bedroom Tarsier just placed the raincoat model onto the girl onto the girl's model. She also had a slightly different face to Six, (I think? I don't know I'm not great at facial recognition.) The girl we play as in this game has longer hair than Six like the girl in the painting and was wearing the same looking raincoat that we see in the painting. If this is true and that girl was the Lady's daughter then that probably explains why Six was taken to the Maw by the Ferryman in the first play, he mistook her for the Lady's daughter because she was wearing the same raincoat. Might also explain why Six had a Nightmare about the Lady at the beginning of the game, you can only really have a dream/nightmare about someone if you have met or seen them before, so Six must have seen the Lady sometime before the game because the Ferryman most likely would have taken her straight to the Lady if he thought he found her daughter. I can only imagine what the Lady's reaction would have been to Six once she realised that she wasn't her daughter. If this theory is true then why was the Lady's daughter wandering around this dangerous world? I think the two most likely options are either she was kidnapped or ran away. I personally find the second option to be more likely because it looks like the Maw has been doing it's kidnapping thing for quite a while, along with the annual genocide of guests. Also if my mother was turning other kids like me into nomes I personally wouldn't want to stick around.

I don't think the nest is connecred with the maw. Also do you notice how you get to the nest in a yellow baloon and lots of paintings in the nest incluede a yellow baloon? Does this mean someone sends children through a baloon to the nest? Also were all the other kids from the nest turned into the nomes? There's a secret room with nomes looking at kid's paintings. Another thing that I noticed is that the last secret room seems to contain a key that could unlock the Butler(since his arms are locked). P.S. After getring all the jack in the boxes a secret room opens up in the Eyes level...
The death montage! I loved that and this was so cool and mind boggling to watch. It’s crazy to think that the girl you save at the end is the character you play in Little Nightmares on the Maw and in this game you were just a doll wearing a yellow raincoat. It would explain why throughout this game you never got hungry. I would love to know how Six got captured though. Seeing as she would go on the raft to pick up the raincoat and wear it but who finds her or how is she captured when brought to the maw. Could it be she just stumbled what she thought was an island like we saw at the end of Little Nightmares, with the Maw underwater, and then was captured by someone that way? I’m very intrigued by this and can’t wait to see the theory video on this.

Hey James regarding that hot air balloon, at the very beginning of the game, you see the little girl wake up in a broken air balloon plus in the full picture of the nest you see a hot air ballon going to the top of the mansion where there are black clouds, which would explode the rain coat. So maybe the little girl accidentally crashed into the building. Tho I don’t know why she was in the hot air balloon in the first place, maybe she was sent there for a purpose just like how six was sent to the Maw. I also find it sweet that six wore that rain coat as a way to remember that little girl that saved her from nearly falling to her death and because they were so close to escaping That place together

I think Kids with special powers are taken to the Maw by the Ferry Man and those without powers are taken to the Nest for the white haired girl to take care of them. It's called the "Nest" after all, so "something" has to grow up there. I think they raise the kids and if they are "high quality", they're sent to the Maw to become meat and if they're not, they will get skinned and turned into dolls by the Janitor for the white haired girl to play with.
Oh and not sure I'f this is relevant but If the dolls come from the children, could the " Six" looking portrait possibly be connected to the doll six here? Dont know and probably not, but worth a thought maby Also also, the other comment is already long ima type here. So if the "Daughter" Is connected to the gacier then does she know her "daughter is gone/dead, and it wouldn't make sense that the father killed himself after that because you see a painting of him hangingthere, and and and why is she talking to the doll, but when she sees you, she chases you and makes you disappear, and so is that chair that's empty on purpose to show that's where you once sat

As you progress, there’s a kid we see multiple times, also helping us in the climax battle with the owner of the Nest (I call her the Mistress, for simplicity). Now, back to that later.
The Girl looks like she has the same traits as Six and the Runaway Kid. Being clever and tough, and with a nice fashion sense ;)
Back to the ending.
As the Mistress and the Girl tumble off the cliff, we see that the Girl has deep, chocolatey brown hair, worn in a long braid. After crashing into the water, neither surface again. Only... the raincoat. That iconic raincoat.
The kid we helped/helped us in the ending also fits a certain description of someone we know...
Six is confirmed to wear white shorts beneath the coat. She has short, scruffy black hair in a bob cut. Pale mocha skin tone. This kid fits all those traits.
That’s because we were never, NEVER playing as Six. Thinking back to when the trailer was released, they said in the post: “A new place, new monsters, new story, and a new- oops, we can’t mention that yet!”
They were referring to the fact we were an entirely new character.
That kid? That was our Six. We were witnessing the Nest through the P.O.V. of the Girl.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but there are some *very strong* connections and similarities between Little Nightmares and Very Little Nightmares.
Let's not focus now on the "Six not being Six" thing, and focus more at whole piece.
We have the Maw - with the Lady that rules the whole place, surrounds herself with staff (Jaintor & Chefs) and guests (main guests and the gnomes).
We also have the Nest - with the Girl that rules the whole place, surrounds herself with staff (Butler & Craftsman) and guests (little kids/dolls and the gnomes.)
In the Maw we have the adult guests that the Lady commands to turn into soulless meat.
In the Nest we have the kids that the Girl commands to turn into soulless dolls.
If you think about the word "Nest" all you can imagine is the refuge for the baby birds and their parents coming to feed them.
Maw is something like 'jaw', and how exactly baby birds are being fed? Through the *MAW.*
Now, imo the whole NEST place is just a 'kid's version' of the Maw since the Lady is a mother of the White Haired Girl.
It's like the Maw FEEDS the Nest. No, literally. Someone in the comments below pointed out how the Jaintor wraps the kids up in a cloth after catching them and sends them *up* through the hooks. What if this is the way Lady wants to keep in contact with her daughter? Bodies of kids are sent to the Nest (because we clearly see that kid's bodies aren't used to prepare meals.) by a Jaintor. The Craftsman recives them, undresses them, washes their clothes, recreates them into dolls (skin tanning tools), and give them to the Girl as a gift from her mother!
Now you can say "but what's with the gnomes? Why are some of them killed and some of them turned into gnomes?" Well, we clearly know that the gnomes were once kids - no surprise there, BUT what if I told you, that the gnomes were ACTUALLY HER KIDS? In the Nest you can see the little bedroom with gnomes jumping on the bed. This is the only place in a whole game where there are so many of them. Right next to that room, is a small bathroom with little toilets and sinks... What if the dolls are somehow a form of *a compensation* from mother to daughter, for losing the rest of her siblings? Now let's think - The Lady and the Hanging man somehow may lose all of their kids (possibly through the mirrors - like in the comics) BUT ONE. The father hangs himself leaving a letter to the Lady and she keeps it a secret (It is in a secret room in the actual game). She gets even more upset and desperately wants to keep the last girl safe so she separates her from herself. But instead of helping her daughter she gets caught in the Little Nightmare herself. From now on she must lure more and more people into the Maw. She sents the dolls to compesate herdaughter her dead simblings, but she also has to lure other people to keep the Maw going. (You know... luring? Like a mother bird lures a food for her babies? No? Alright.)
After we kill the Lady we take over HER curse on US, because there's nobody else there, since her last daughter is dead for a long time now.
It's like uncovering the WHOLE new part of the story, and it's more than just "Six not being Six" anymore, It is all falling to place! ^^
I just wish someone would read that, maybe it would help someone to make a theory video ^^

Anyhow, it's as good a theory as any and does seem to fit; there are a lot of parallels, just as you said. I wish we could confirm that the Spoiled Girl were really related to the Geisha---the question I'd like an answer to is: how do little children become the bloated monsters we see the adults as?
...Or did the whole game of Little Nightmares answer that question, as Six made increasingly desperate and morally questionable decisions until the consequences of those decisions corrupted her?

The White Girl in the single child of a wealthy family and lives in the Nest which is (probably cuz they were so close to water in the game) a mansion that is built by the edge of a cliff near the sea. Six and The Girl in The Yellow Raincoat are servants to the White Girl along with a handful of other children. Her dad commited suicide and he might be connected to the hot air balloon (idk) She left the Craftsman and the Butler with her so she was taken care of. The Craftsman makes her toys and the Butler keeps everything and everyone in check (he does chores too) Yellow Raincoat would work outside in the gardens since she was given a raincoat and Six must have been a personal handmaid since she doesn't have one. Yellow Raincoat decided to escape but she doesn't know that Six wanted to do the same (or she did and they were planning an escape idk). So they escape or try to when Yellow Raincoat found White Girl crying at a bench cuz she broke her doll. White Girl starts chasing her and Yellow Raincoat dies. Six keeps the raincoat as a memory and she runs to the city (based in the comics). Then, the Ferryman picks her up.

This might actually be supported throughout the first game; it's easy to notice that even though we don't get much personality or character from... well, anyone, it's evident that Six holds a cold and distant attitude, and violently pushes others away and only cares for herself.
Thinking back to this game... it makes sense. Think about it from Six's angle: The Girl in the Yellow Raincoat was the closest she had to a friend, which isn't that good since The Raincoat Girl initially left her to die by locking her out of the shed 25:07, but The Girl still saved Six from what was almost a guaranteed death even though The Girl was already running for her own life 27:52. We know Six was definitely grateful, feeling willing to save The Girl back minutes later (or at least try at 28:16). And yet... The Girl still dies regardless, either killed by the fall or by the silver-haired woman beneath the surface. Six watched the only person she could potentially call a friend or even an ally die in front of her despite doing all she could for her. Makes sense, then, that she would find it difficult if not impossible to reach out and find allies for support from then on, she's already witnessed someone important die after both gave it their all. Then, combined with her later desperation to not starve to death and her hatred for both The Maw and The Lady, and Six's disregard for other lives in favor of her own has a root.

Wait a minute if u look a little closer to "five"/ the character u are playing as...when she was falling to the ocean( 28:32 )... you can see her hair which is tied to a braid... Then look the runaway girl who left the flashlight for the runaway kid during the dlc... U can see that they both have the same hair and they can escape as good as six and the runaway kid ... What if "five" survived the fall and ended up in the maw and tried to escape the maw just like six and the runaway kid?! Makes sense? No ok... I tried XD it's just my opinion
I think the mistress and the girl we've been playing as , are both dead at the end and Six (the girl in white) took the raincoat and escaped to the city where the Ferryman caught her and took her to the maw. I donnow but that to me sounds the most legitimate storyline that's in coordination with the DLC's and the main game and also the comics. God I looove love this game so much and can never get enough of the theories.

The white haired girl looked like she was eating the other person rather than berating them, made me think of the hunger.
Also in the little nightmares game you see a lot more of Six's legs, showing the raincoat doesn't fit her as well because she's taller.

The deaths are so brutal in this game but also quite funny how they are so sudden
i think i have an idea to this confusing dilemma,here goes .So beaver has established how "we the players are a doll who was been through a maniacal experience". now being a doll we cannot fear human emotions but from what evidence we are given we are a very intelligent doll.we later learn of our fate and pave the path for the real protagonist of the story that being six, to answer one on beaver's question "who indeed was six" and why was IT alive in the first place,we've already dissected the grim death of a man who probably couldn't bear his misdeeds and from VLN we know that the little mistress who we fight at the end is in some way related to the geisha/lady and the hanged man also know as the scientist supposedly but where is six role in this well maybe the reason he hanged himself was because he was the one responsible for six's insatiable hunger since we know he is a scientist who is to say that six wasn't one of his test subjects or even his own daughter .this could explain her powers and six's hunger but maybe there's more to this story ?And if there is ,it's a pretty juicy one at that back to the matter the mistress why is she so captivated in playing with dolls and why when she touches doll six we disappear. Lets say she was a test subject along with the other dolls but maybe they weren't dolls it could be possible that they're were human but maybe they weren't successful test subjects and the mistress was the only one who didn't fail a successful test subject who later on became his daughter in the game we know that the little mistress really really has an obsession with dolls OR maybe those dolls are her dead friends feeling lonely she used her powers to turn the dead children in to lifeless dolls and she seems to care for them alot especially the one that breaks maybe that particular doll wasn't just a friend what if it was her brother if it is that explains why she cried for him when we stumble upon her we can clearly see she is suffering from the pain of this doll being broken and the angry toward doll six is not uncommon for someone going through the stages of grief after all she did just lost someone close to her. The game ends with doll six sacrificing herself or itself for six we are lead to believe that doll six and the little mistress both plummet to what seems to be their deaths but what if the little mistress never died what if she survived i mean she did survive a boulder falling on her so it is safe to assume that she could have survived the fall but what about doll six well unfortunately she wasn't fast enough to evade the mistress and was erased from existence now back to the mistress maybe she to fled to the maw but before she went to the maw maybe she evolved into something more of a horrendous creature maybe when she boarded the maw her youth may have been drained by the geisha who wouldn't recognize her due to her transformation from being in the water all the time after being drained of her youth she would also survive that of course cause this is little nightmares she survived and became an old hag having all of her beauty stripped away from her she isolated herself from everything dragging herself deep down in the maw a place where it is secluded a place where no one other than herself could reach i am talking about the depths of course what is the little mistress is the granny think about it when you first encounter her she is sitting in a chair play with what looks like the silhouette of a tiny person but you can see that it is a doll even before you enter her chambers you see a doll in the box and who else loves playing with dolls you guessed it the mistress and further evidence is there the fact that when she hears the runaway kid she immediately want to pull him in for a tight embrace and she never gives up in the pursuit in capturing him but why would she want to do that maybe she saw the doll from her pass who reminded her of what she had lost so long ago her brother and speaking of the runaway kid he's probably a doll mainly because we never see him eat,sleep or anything.Anyways that was my theory a beaver theory.

Plot twist: the french lady is six, the nest is an event happening after the maw, that explains her powers and behavior. She is sad because she is allone, most other children didnt escape the maw (im guessing it has a new owner), so she makes dolls to keep her company.

So maybe Six killed the The Lady because her daughter killed her friend (Well "friend" because we locked her out and ended up saving her so maybe it's because a favor to Five??), and it's obvious that Six is the girl because when we played Five she didn't feel any hunger at all, and maybe she also took the raincoat to remember Five bye or to not forget what she's fighting for.Also other thing when Five was falling to the water she had I think a black and red scarf like most of the other dolls (I don't know for sure I didn't really pay attention so i could be wrong on that part ^^') alright I guess I'm done, I'll update when I can think of anything else.

I like how the only character that has a proper “happy” ending is Six in the main game. With the Runaway kid being eaten and the raincoat girl in this game disintegrating and all.
Mono certainly didn't break this cycle.
Perhaps the white haired girl was upset that her dolls were just dolls, and wanted an actual friend to play with, and so someone gave life to a doll, which becomes this game's six. But the doll didn't want to play with her, because it realized that she was spoiled or rude, which the girl disliked and so banished her. Before she saw "six" in the end, she was crying, possibly because she is so lonely. She seeing the doll made her feel worse because maybe giving something life is hard, while taking life away from something is difficult. So she decided to kill the doll.
Oh my gosh!!!! You weren't Six that time the other girl was!!!! But now we know who the hanging man is.

Something funny is that in the synopsis of the game on the bandai page refer to the protagonist as a girl in the yellow raincoat and not as six as if they did in the synopsis of the main game
Loads of people have come to the conclusion that the girl we save is Six and that we were just playing as another child. However, many people have come to believe that the child we play as in this game is the Lady's daughter.
Here's the reasoning behind this:
In the main game in the Lady's quarters there was a painting in her room above the vase where the key is hidden, of a child wearing a yellow raincoat. Because of this painting people then drew conclusions that Six was the Lady's daughter but then Tarsier said no that wasn't the case which disproved that theory.
But then people started to get confused about the painting, why does the Lady have what appears to be a painting of six next to her bed if they're not related, and what's with the painting in the guest area of a girl and the Lady standing together? Well it turns out that that is a completely different girl, her model was found in the game's data and it looked quite different to Six's model. They had longer and thinner hair compared to Six, and with the painting in the Lady's bedroom Tarsier just placed the raincoat model onto the girl onto the girl's model. She also had a slightly different face to Six, (I think? I don't know I'm not great at facial recognition.)
The girl we play as in this game has longer hair than Six like the girl in the painting and was wearing the same looking raincoat that we see in the painting.
If this is true and that girl was the Lady's daughter then that probably explains why Six was taken to the Maw by the Ferryman in the first play, he mistook her for the Lady's daughter because she was wearing the same raincoat.
Might also explain why Six had a Nightmare about the Lady at the beginning of the game, you can only really have a dream/nightmare about someone if you have met or seen them before, so Six must have seen the Lady sometime before the game because the Ferryman most likely would have taken her straight to the Lady if he thought he found her daughter. I can only imagine what the Lady's reaction would have been to Six once she realised that she wasn't her daughter.
If this theory is true then why was the Lady's daughter wandering around this dangerous world? I think the two most likely options are either she was kidnapped or ran away. I personally find the second option to be more likely because it looks like the Maw has been doing it's kidnapping thing for quite a while, along with the annual genocide of guests. Also if my mother was turning other kids like me into nomes I personally wouldn't want to stick around.

I don't think the nest is connecred with the maw. Also do you notice how you get to the nest in a yellow baloon and lots of paintings in the nest incluede a yellow baloon? Does this mean someone sends children through a baloon to the nest?
Also were all the other kids from the nest turned into the nomes? There's a secret room with nomes looking at kid's paintings. Another thing that I noticed is that the last secret room seems to contain a key that could unlock the Butler(since his arms are locked).

After getring all the jack in the boxes a secret room opens up in the Eyes level...
The death montage! I loved that and this was so cool and mind boggling to watch. It’s crazy to think that the girl you save at the end is the character you play in Little Nightmares on the Maw and in this game you were just a doll wearing a yellow raincoat. It would explain why throughout this game you never got hungry. I would love to know how Six got captured though. Seeing as she would go on the raft to pick up the raincoat and wear it but who finds her or how is she captured when brought to the maw. Could it be she just stumbled what she thought was an island like we saw at the end of Little Nightmares, with the Maw underwater, and then was captured by someone that way? I’m very intrigued by this and can’t wait to see the theory video on this.

Hey James regarding that hot air balloon, at the very beginning of the game, you see the little girl wake up in a broken air balloon plus in the full picture of the nest you see a hot air ballon going to the top of the mansion where there are black clouds, which would explode the rain coat.
So maybe the little girl accidentally crashed into the building.
Tho I don’t know why she was in the hot air balloon in the first place, maybe she was sent there for a purpose just like how six was sent to the Maw.
I also find it sweet that six wore that rain coat as a way to remember that little girl that saved her from nearly falling to her death and because they were so close to escaping That place together

I think Kids with special powers are taken to the Maw by the Ferry Man and those without powers are taken to the Nest for the white haired girl to take care of them. It's called the "Nest" after all, so "something" has to grow up there. I think they raise the kids and if they are "high quality", they're sent to the Maw to become meat and if they're not, they will get skinned and turned into dolls by the Janitor for the white haired girl to play with.

So if the "Daughter" Is connected to the gacier then does she know her "daughter is gone/dead, and it wouldn't make sense that the father killed himself after that because you see a painting of him hangingthere, and and and why is she talking to the doll, but when she sees you, she chases you and makes you disappear, and so is that chair that's empty on purpose to show that's where you once sat
The way we were a doll makes perfect sense to because we never got hungry or thirsty throughout the game.
