OMG, I’m so glad I’m not the only one. I sprayed this everywhere and I could not smell it. I really wanted to live this.
i got a sample of this perfume and to me it smells near exact to michael kors midnight shimmer, and MK is way more long lasting!
Yeah girl I always say MK mignight shimmer is my kayali vanilla 28 perfume bc it smells pretty identical with more umph and with better performance lol

First honest opinion regarding this perfume that i see! Thank you for sharing the true experience - me same here - absolutely in love with the smell itself and the design, but hugely disappointed by its longevity and projection, bearing in mind it's so overpriced. Same - never heard anyone complimenting me on this perfume, though usually i receive a lot of compliments with the rest of my collection :(

I purchased a bottle a few days ago from sephora over the internet and only yesterday I saw your video and I got worried.Today the perfume arrived and at first it smells delicious and strong to the point where it made me sneeze.I sprayed it on my wrist and I could barely smell it 5 minutes later. A few hours later I tried it again ,I sprayed it all over me and cant smell it at all . I covered myself with it, on my clothes, on my hair everywhere, nothing....I smelled it more at first when I unwraped the packages and I used the first 2 sprays.I don`tunderstand what is going on.I immediately thought of your video ,I dont understand how other people say it projects to the point where they got compliments from other people ....I am sooo disappointed.I am hoping maybe if it sits more in the container it will start smelling better as it macerates............You got the most on point description of this perfume,EXACTLY my experience with it.I just wish I saw this before I ordered.
I was surprised to hear that your experience was similar to mine even though I have the deja vu white flower perfume. It smells amazing but it doesn't last long on my skin either.

I think vanilla 28 smells like a cheap watered down version of Vaniglia by Mazzalori. I am not a fan either. I love Deja Vu white flower 57 and I love the Musk one as well. Elixir is okay but not great. The citrus is gross. I gave it away to a co worker that was retiring. The price point is too high for all of them. Imho. If you want a fantastic vanilla... try Vaniglia by Mazzalori

I have Vaniglia by Mazzolari. It’s a beautiful vanilla/caramel. Their formula is a bit oily and lasts quite a while. I just did a 28 blind buy, so we shall see …

I been eyeing the Kayali fragrances, especially White Flowers because I’m a sucker for anything for white floral. But their sephora reviews are vague and seem a little suspect. I know Huda has a huge cult following so it’s not crazy to assume their influence has nothing to do with the reviews. Thanks for another great review & stay safe ❤️
Yeah.. I wanna try her other fragrances. But I’ll try to find a Sephora that carries them because I’m not blind buying them anymore lmao.. too expensive for the performance
I bought the mini set of the original 4. It's $95. I recieved deja vu as a gift from a friend. I'm obsessed. It's my favorite along with the Musk. The rest can go away for all I care.
I always hear that it's weak tbh lol which is why I still don't pull the trigger. I can't justify spending over $100 for something that will perform as a bbw body mist
On me it’s sooo strong I can never wear it alone lol it pulls extremely sweet, like I literally have burnt sugar on lol

@@Jaiem_ I think it has to sit for a while and allow the perfume juice to become darker and it will last longer I think, but I’ve seen others say this.
The truest review!!! Idk what it is but I hate the initial choke this gives me. I start to sneeze! Wtf. and I don't spray it near my nose. Im glad i just got the sample
Yes I couldn’t wait to spray it because of all the praise I sprayed it soon as I got it out of the mail walking back to the house I immediately coughed and I was outside wind was blowing and it still choked me lol

Ah! I just ordered this before I saw your review. You’re right that the Kayali line is impossible to sample first unless you buy a decant off eBay. It’s nowhere in stores. I even reached out to Kayali to find out who their retailers are and it’s only Sephora and Sephora only offers online. 😐 I’m super curious about the entire collection. I wish Sephora carried the sample pack but they don’t yet. Hopefully they will soon. Great video . Thanks for the review. 💕

Thanks for doing an honest review!! Been wanting to check some of the kayali fragrances out but it’s so hard when they’re not sold in store. In Canada they’re only sold online. Hopefully this changes soon! Ps also love your lipstick shade!!
Yes!! I barely blind buy because I don’t want to be disappointed.. like in this case. Great frag but not the best performance on my skin 😢
Same here, I love the smell but after 30 seconds, it's disappeared from my skin. My friend sprayed it too and I could not smell anything on her
I thought it was just me. You can’t smell anything. Very faint. I use it for cuddle nights with my guy. I won’t repurchase.

I just got the little rollerball duo with Musk, so I could try them for a low price. I can barely smell them, so even though I like the scents, I won't be buying these in the full bottles. Thank you for your review.

Same with me i love this smell i got sample when i spray on my skin i didn't feel smell on my skin i thought its strong it will stay on my skin for another day but its not even did last long on my skin for few minutes

i have the same issue with D&G the one grey its a nice clean smell but very soft projector , i spray it heavy on shirt & under shirt & i get about 2 hours longevity so not very good to say the least

@@luizherrera1874 im thinking it's a common occurrence with kayali perfumes I've had differences in color for the same bottle I've purchased 3 times already 🙊
The juice gets darker with age.

Hi! Just discovered your channel. Maybe you got a dud? Like a bad batch? Only saying because this thing lasts on me. I have dry, dry as the Sahara desert dry skin. My mom has oily skin. It lasted on both of us. On me it's sweet vanilla cakey. On her it's like straight vanilla extract and strong. I sprayed it today at 10am just to test again. It's after 3pm and it is saying HELLO! It is still wafting around me and noticeable after 5 hours. My husband said I smell like snickerdoodle cookies and vanilla ice cream LOL 🤷🏽♀️
Hey, lol it doesn’t last on some and it lasts a lot on others. I also check my batch codes. I know kayali has been getting a lot of backlash from their products not lasting as much, which is why Mona has declared they’re working on their performance.
With that being said, it’s not that serious to me! I have a lot of nice perfumes I love lol
Cool. Yea, it was just a thought. Things can happen sometimes when in production. Anything can be flawed. Also, I do believe as well that body chemistry has a lot to do with it. Oh, well. Definitely. Everything ain't for everybody.
Yes, anything can happen in production. Wether you buy from Sephora like I did, or the grey market such as Mercari. Also, body chemistry, environment, texture, moisture, etc can affect performance. which is why I mentioned and emphasized the “on me” portion. And kayali in general as a brand, getting backlash from the performance. With that being said, I am aware it does last a lot on some. But, with my experience and now speaking with the experience of close friends of mine having it as well, I can say on me and them it did not last. But I’m glad it worked for you.
