What's up with the negativity these actors were A👏MA👏I👏ZING...Kwanza we need to keep supporting our Kenyan actors ndio Sisi pia tumake it big time in the acting biz.. proud Kenyan... cheering on for more of this😊♥️
This is an excellent production. The camera work, characters, dialogue and location all blend perfectly. I don’t know why Kenyans are always so quick to criticise our own actors/shows/musicians. We should learn a thing or two from Nigeria; Nollywood is for everyone, from the emerging to the established, and that’s how Nigerian music and shows have become popular across the world. The more we appreciate and support our productions, the higher the incentive for upcoming actors and actresses to break into the creative industry.
I love the story line,,,,the actors need to be more natural especially facial expressions, they need to evoke an emotion from your audience. Then stop sounding like they are reading from the script and act. This applies to all the ladies, the Pastor is more natural.
May I suggest Blake Snyder's "Save the cat" for scripting purposes...because from the episode you still question "what exactly is this about'...what has brought about all this? Not much in terms of character establishment, except expositional dialogue. Overall, the aesthetic is spot on but the scripting and some of the dialogue could use a touch up
Ndegwa Ndirangu you wanna hear the funniest thing in the world...the scene in the church was based on Save the Cat. To get more technical, it was to establish that in spite of all the chaos in her world, Vierra is still a superwoman who wants to save everyone. Make sense ?
Seeing as some of these comments are on the negative, for a first production, its not too bad.. would like to see how the characters have evolved after a year though? Links to any more work you have done?
Howdy Anita, after this we produced a play called "the Money that made him Poor" in Nairobi. You can check out the trailer and promotional material on our channel. Thanks for watching.
Pascal's acting gets me every time. show inakaa poa but acting ya wengine its a no no my girl Joyce you failed me on this one but your character on Celina makes up for it
Stumbled upon this series. One, I like the storyline. Though the party felt very separated from the rest of the story. The actors feel too scripted. Not natural at all. Except the driver in the first scene and the brother in the last. The english also seems a bit forced and the weng imperfect. I like the whole idea of us telling our own stories but it seems like our stories are super copy pasted from the West. I felt like I was watching a black-american script. Add more Kenyan elements and yes, I second the suggestion to have an acting school. Good effort all in all
Hey. Thanks for the feedback. The sheng amount will vary across the show as only two of the characters were conceived as being from Eastlands, whereas the rest would be from Upper middle class/ wealthy backgrounds
izi ni ma whaaaaaaaaaat😅una end story ivo why molio. there is a different level of perfection, sometimes most of the viewers in here get jelous that it aint them. the american slang ended with no blow, those dudes deserves it sometimes😅no offense and lastly kudos to the screen play writer, its hard to cordinate a four in one dialogue scene
Because of love "Really" look for better title. You guys are doing a great job tho. But don't over do it. I really dont know what I was watching, cant really pic up the story line. Plan B, is a beautifull movie.
Tony Tini Tone Productions . Look at mukatano junction and Mali, the story lines for both shows were realistic to the current times and the acting was natural for each character to portray. In the drink segment in this episode when the bad boy challenged John I could not help but see the lack of creativity and so much pretence. It's a good show but let the characters feel the roles out and not make it seem like a yawn.
If two men are competition for a woman they should be macho about it there should be a feel of anger by one and satisfaction by another. What's the deal with the pastor
Thanks for the comment. It's interesting that this particular comment has recurred a couple of times. So that we can get a sense of what people mean, what would you say is a show or series that accurately reflects middle class/ upper-middle-class experience? I think understanding that will help us understand a bit more where this disconnect
the whole thing the production direction are good but the actors are wanting we know this people speak swahili but it sounds sooo unnatural even their English does not sound KE
Laura Sango aaah ok. Noted. To put the responsibility on the right shoulders for that, the actors pretty much executed the vision of the writers, producers and directors as intended. Those three parties will take this in account
What's up with the negativity these actors were A👏MA👏I👏ZING...Kwanza we need to keep supporting our Kenyan actors ndio Sisi pia tumake it big time in the acting biz.. proud Kenyan... cheering on for more of this😊♥️

Noted. Thanks for the feedback
I think there is a difference between theater and film
May I suggest Blake Snyder's "Save the cat" for scripting purposes...because from the episode you still question "what exactly is this about'...what has brought about all this? Hey. Thanks for the feedback. The sheng amount will vary across the show as only two of the characters were conceived as being from Eastlands, whereas the rest would be from Upper middle class/ wealthy backgrounds

Because of love "Really" look for better title. You guys are doing a great job tho. But don't over do it. I really dont know what I was watching, cant really pic up the story line. Plan B, is a beautifull movie.

The story line needs to be more realistic and the acting needs to be more interactive......alot is left wanting.
Gavin David more realistic how? More interactive how? Do you have any series examples you can give for us to compare ?
Tony Tini Tone Productions . Look at mukatano junction and Mali, the story lines for both shows were realistic to the current times and the acting was natural for each character to portray. Gavin David cool noted on the bad boy. What do you mean whats up with the pastor?
Tony Tini Tone Productions the pastor Abraham segment left a lot of mixed feels and questions.
Go kenyans
honestly, i love the script but hate the transitions, editing part
Thanks for the feedback Matrix. Anything in particular stick out to you?
sorry but that first girl is walking in those heels like she is mashing potatoes with her feet.
Jeina O 😂😂😂 how violently do they mash potatoes at your place ?
People have peculiar potato mashing
Jeina O yeah looks awkward
Haha jeina your comment left me laughing till had to go back and see how she walks again in the name of smashing potatoes
When you want so badly to support the kenyan movie/ series movement but you are disappointef by....oh so much.
Too westernized.wheres the realness?
Thanks for the comment. It's interesting that this particular comment has recurred a couple of times. So that we can get a sense of what people mean, what would you say is a show or series that accurately reflects middle class/ upper-middle-class experience? I think understanding that will help us understand a bit more where this disconnect
we need to have a drama school... poor acting
Thanks for your comments Laura. So we can know how to improve in future, could you provide some examples of where you thought the acting was poor ?
getting into character and letting it come out natural e.g. Kawangware househelps, block d, scandal (etv), Rhythmn city(etv)
Laura Sango any particular scene where this really stood out to you ?
the whole thing the production direction are good but the actors are wanting we know this people speak swahili but it sounds sooo unnatural even their English does not sound KE
Laura Sango aaah ok. Noted. To put the responsibility on the right shoulders for that, the actors pretty much executed the vision of the writers, producers and directors as intended. Those three parties will take this in account
This is the society we living in.. Woman believing real men should spend a fortune on her.. Crap
Too scripted 🤦🏽♀️
Thanks for the comment. To be fair all shows are scripted. Care to elaborate on what exactly you mean?
Terrible acting.
Thanks for the feedback. Anything in particular stick out to you?
