    0:20 "Z4M Coupe"! No it's not! It's the roadster...
    And at 1:04 "there's much more weight on the front". No there's not! It's near 50:50 weight distribution.
    And at 2:45 "they're the same brakes as the E46 M3". No they're not! They're the same as the E46 M3 CSL, as is the hydraulic steering rack.
    But you're right, buy one now because these, and especially the coupe are heading up in value.
    I have an 07 M Coupe with 38000 miles. One of the big advantages of the coupe is chassis rigidity. Much higher than the roadster, and higher than the M3 and CSL. It's a very raw, sharp, responsive hotshoe, even more so than my 997 911 C2 manual.

      @@emncali be ready to spend $5k USD for vanos, chain guide, vanos hubs, value adjustments, and rod bearings (some argue this isn't needed). Test out the coupe before buying the roadster.

      You're correct, except regarding the chassis rigidity. The car was designed as a roadster and the coupe has the SAME structural rigidity as the roadster, just with more weight. I have a 2006 Z4M Roadster and I absolutely love it.

    I have an 06 coupe and love it. It loves the back mountain roads and loves ‘safely’ redlining in 4th. On the occasional beautiful fall morning I wonder if the roadster because nothing beats having a top down, but the other 9/10 times I know I made the right choice for me. I’ve not seen one other unless it’s a mountain day, and even that is rare.

    Never heard the S54 referred to as reliable, but that is reassuring. These have gone up in price to such a crazy extent and I don't think they're ever coming back down. I'd be satisfied with a regular Z4 3.0si for around $10k I think!

      The S54 in my M3 has been pretty reliable and I've been tracking it over the years. I do yearly fluid changes bc of track duty. you should check out that review if you're interested. you should look into the e46 m3 convertible. you can find those at a reasonable price bc everyone wants the coup. check out that review too

      @@TrackTested I'd never do the Vert but the coupe is legendary. I drove my friend's dads Imola Red E46 M3 back in the day with SMG and it was cool. The one takeaway I had is how refined the freeway experience was. We were doing 80-90mph and the car felt like it was doing 50. Incredibly stable and capable chassis.

    I laughed when you said the brakes are strong, they melt after two laps on any track

    • @fabricioavil
      @fabricioavil 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      that is correct, when they said it, I thought: on the road/normal drive right, but on track they overheat quickly, while not overheated they are "good".
      so, let's assume they were talking about road and not track 😉

      It’s silly to discuss how brakes do on the track with stock pads…I’d never track a car without dedicated track pads…at least something like HP+, XP8, etc at a minimum. Stock pads (at least on these cars) are not made for the track period.
