Happy anniversary to you guys. You will really like the rb 560 baler. I had a br 780 it was twine only but a super sweep pickup. It was a good baler but after so may bales they all start to wear out and even if you keep up on the maintenance there will Always be the next thing to fix or replace. It isn't even the cost or Always the time needed to do the repairs it's that the breakdown happens when you need to be baling. After my cow dispersal sale I moved up to a lightly used rb 560 speciality crop. It is so nice. This is the second season using it and I made over a thousand bales and literally all I did was greese, spray chains, and change bale wrap. On some fields averaged 40 bales an hour and didn't have to work as hard as I did (or worry about what or when the next repair would be). I actually enjoyed it. Good luck on your search. We also traveled a more than a few miles tracking down a baler that wasn't 2 yrs old and worn out
Happy anniversary BCP, this was an extraordinary video, all good stuff as always but with Sassy Massey action and Big Blue rocking along if there is now tomorrow
Seems about the case for grains this year... Lighter test weights, lower quality, but the yields is what's been the best. Not horrible quality, but sure could be better. I blame the humidity... just happy not having to deal with durum on this type of year . Congrats on your anny!
Happy anniversary BP and CP, ours is today! Heading into Brandon for parts and outing. Crop looks good be some chewing for the 750. Did our oats the other day, yielded about 80 bushels but seems on the light side. The way those roads you were traveling on it looks like you were in manitoba! Lol that swather looks pretty sweet for its age.
Dad always kept a disc ready to go during harvest. I can't remember a year (many moons ago) that some fire caught on a neighbors field that we ran circles round. My nephew is on the VFD, so he's busy for the next few months.
Nice to see you giviner, you should look into finding lifters that you could modify to fit that older swatter, you'd be surprised how much that helps. As well you seem like a handy guy, you could probably install some of those plastic combine pick up teeth to that reel, that may help grab and lift a bit of a lodged crop. Just a small idea I had, it's probably relatively in expensive and may work for u if you ever deal with similar crop lodging in the future, especially since you mainly harvest barley and oats. Hope it turns out to be a great harvest for u guys, stay safe out there, love the videos
Good morning BP and CP ☕️☕️☕️👍. Same crappy weather here. Just got after cutting the last day or so. Finally baled up the first greenfeed that I cut. Running pretty good, looks like it’ll average at least 8 bales an acre on those baler oats. That Vermeer baler is still sucking it up at 8 mph. Averaged 40 bales per hour tying with twine in there with two 10 ft swaths raked together.
Good morning CP and BP ☕☕☕ Happy Anniversary!!!!! Doesn't look too bad... Now if the weather would have straighten out... Making up for it here.. pushing 40c for the next few days 🥵
@@bcpfarmandtrucking6560 usually August and September will have a few days of Hot weather.. and May to the end of July will be 30c +/-... Unlike this year where it was pushing 40c all freaking summer 🥵 You've basically had our normal summer weather... and 3 to 6" of rain every month..
