The best spoken Portuguese language page on the net. It’s so hard finding pages that teach how people speak and really understand the language. Brilliant
I so appreciate your work. My Brazilian friend (or should I say, minha amiga brasileira 😉) was very impressed with my progress and pronunciation in just a couple of weeks. And it’s all thanks to you!
Hi Andrew! I’ve been subscribed and following your lessons for 2 weeks now and I am loving it! I am on the waitlist and super excited to learn more from you. Thank you for all of your hard work, passion, and dedication towards these amazing videos. I can’t wait for more 🇧🇷
I am watching these videos more lately. They are the best so far for me. The pace is best for my level. I tried with faster teachers but wasn't as good. The basics are so important! I wish I could meet you one day to talk and practice. Obrigado meu profesor!
I was getting overwhelmed but this video finally helped me understand where all these cê, tá, que que etc. were coming from listening to my friends, series movies speak. thank you so much Professor, motivation is definitely back 😅
@DecodingWordswithAndrew great to hear. By the way, The video in which you explain when Brazilians tend to shorten and combine words was extra helpful because that can be very confusing lol
Sorry last thing: there also seem to be instances when the skipping of words or the mashing them together is a grammatical thing, not just a colloquial thing. For example: você é o melhor... When Google or my Brazilian friend say this, they definitely don't enunciate all 4 words here lol Any help on that would be great. One of your strengths, in my opinion, is your ability to add little helpful things like this within videos on larger topics. Anyway, cheers.
Lesson 9 coming this weekend! FYI beginning in October I'll be investing a lot more time into this channel, so you can expect a much higher frequency of content.
I’ve been learning languages my whole life (English, German, French, Thai, now Brazilian-Portuguese) and I’m a teacher myself. This is the best course I’ve encountered in my life 💎

4:15 May I ask why is it "todo dia" and not "todos os dias"
You can use either, but in everyday speech people tend to use "todo dia" more
@@DecodingWordswithAndrew thank you Andrew, you the best
Now I'm trying to find a friend who can practice with me on whstpp calls
