Press the clutch, put it in neutral to get over the fear of stalling, release clutch and step on the break. Also saves you from getting tired of press and holding the clutch waiting for a light. Taught myself, taught all my friends on their first day driving. If you fear stalling, go on a small up hill, and go back/fourth, go up a few inches, back and inches. It’ll help get over the fear of stalling plus teach you, your cars limit/biting point. You’ll get to know when your cars about to stall because it will. Yeah, when you're at some speed, but not for stopping. To perform a full stop, to brake with the clutch engaged until it goes idle, is far worse than pressing the clutch and just braking. The engine is pushing while you're holding it. Just leave it, and then you brake. It'll go idle in seconds without a fight.
@@khimmones9026if u rev match properly it’s very little to no wear on ur clutch 👍🏽
Press the brake until you feel it almost sputter and then press the clutch. At least thats what works in a semi better.
I usually press all pedals at once and let the car decide what to do .
I usually tell the people ahead to floor it so I’m good to keep going but if they don’t I usually get out mid drive, to go to the front of the car, and push it till it stops. Literally the best decision anyone could make.
Remember guys, the leftmost pedal is the bonus brake
😅😊😂😂😊😊й❤ыыыя
It's the clutch but I see what u did lol
I usually shift into 1st after being 5K RPM in 3rd. Gives the best engine braking you’ll ever need without the clutch
Nah shift into reverse for ultimate engine braking
@@localnyraccoonwhat are you even talking about? There is no reverse in my car. Only 1 to 5 and Race mode.
@@localnyraccoon🤣🤣🤣
@@Joemamaisa304way to ruin a good joke with a cringe one
I find going from redline in 6th to 1st really slows the car down in time.
I usually stick my foot through the hole on the floor and slow the car down like the flintstones
I usually park the car on the side of the road, not at a traffic light
I usually change the direction from where i was going to never stop at all. It works all the time.
i wouldve been chillin in neutral after the lane change 💀
Same lmao
Yup. Put it neutral and just brake.
Engine braking all the way, heel and toe baby!
@@CrunchyCarotyou're wasting fuel and brakes this way
The engine provides the hydraulic power for the brakes so putting it in neutral you're taking away a lot of the brake power but in this case it doesn't matter really. If you are in a downhill tho never put it neutral!
I didn’t realize there is a proper way to break, I figured just coming to a complete stop was good enough!
I usually just hit the car to save wear and tear on my brakes
I just hand brake and use the jet engines on the bumper that I usually use for reverse
