    Thanks so much for this longer version. You could have mentioned too Games. I am not into it but Millions today are...
    I wish I could be part of an Othodox community to understand the Liturgy but in Jerusalem, it is either in Greek, Armenian, Russian, Arabic and Syriac; nothing in English other than Western Christianiaty (Catholic or Protestant).
    Pls keep the good work you are doing because it is not in vain.
    Blessings from Israel

    I loved St. Isaac the Syrian and his writings, but recently I came across an article that’s said St. Isaac the Syrian may have been part of the Assyrian Nestorian Church, which baffled me, I tried researching for evidence and found that St. Paisios of mount Athos vison of St. Isaac the Syrian, which was he did not participate in the liturgy of Assyrian but lived around them. I am confused right now can you please clarify whether Isaac the Syrian is accepted as a saint in Coptic orthodox church.

    • @Damascene749

      St Isaac is a saint in the Eastern Orthodox Church. Which is the only Orthodox Church.
      The others are heretical. So you’re not part of the Orthodox Church if you follow the Copts.

      Paisios of mount athos is an Eastern Orthodox saint and is not a saint in Oriental Orthodox. his teachings are not accepted in Coptic Church since we are Oriental Orthodox. St. Isaac the Syrian is a Saint in Coptic church.

    Add a lot of positive building relationship things with Jesus and it will make you really not need/want things that He is not in gradually….
    It seems difficult from the outside, but really it’s a replacement that He does in your life when you allow Him to.
    When you grow that way, it will be just what your soul needs and you will feel safe/peaceful/not torn between 2 things….

    What do you mean when you say “God is not holy”??

  • @kikikaakau-delizo8152

    It's exhausting because you're "trying" to be holy; religious. You're trying to tick off boxes instead of actually LOVING Yeshua more than anyone or anything. You haven't truly given your entire self to Him. If you have, it's not exhausting at all, it comes naturally because you WANT to leave those worldly things behind.

  • @kikikaakau-delizo8152

    I don't get why it's so difficult? The Lord Himself said His burden is light. We're not of this world, period. It's not difficult at all. What's difficult is when one spouse wants the spiritual and the other wants the world. Very, very difficult for the one whose heart and mind is only for the Lord.

    • @Lizzie236

      We are all on different journeys in the spiritual life. What is difficult for one person may not be difficult for another and vice versa.

    • @kikikaakau-delizo8152

      Yes we are on different levels of spiritual advancement in Christ. However, using "it's difficult" is an unacceptable excuse. More often than not, the difficulty in letting go of the things of this world stems from ego and pride not wanting to do so.

    • @Lizzie236

      @kikikaakau-delizo8152 I disagree. Letting go of things in this world is difficult because you are in this world. It's no different than finding it difficult being married to someone that wants the world. Unless what the person is finding difficult is that the person they are married to is a sinner and they are not. In this case it's a matter of pride and ego on the spouses part (not the one that is choosing the world either). However if it's because you are left feeling isolated and alone because you are struggling to follow the Lord and your having to choose between following what you know is wrong and your spouse ( or having relationships with others ) or choosing what you know is right but with that comes isolation. That is a difficult situation. FYI difficult doesn't mean impossible if you think I am using the term difficult to justify anything you would be wrong. I am actually using it like, as in the word struggle.
      Sorta like in the story of Elder Paisios and the drunk monk.

    • @kikikaakau-delizo8152

      @@Lizzie236 we'll agree to disagree. It's not a matter of one thinking s/he is sinless, as I can't believe anyone would think that. It's a matter of who you love; the world or Christ. Period.

    • @Lizzie236

      @kikikaakau-delizo8152 you can love Christ and still struggle with going the way the world. Everyone does it one way or another. Also in different circumstances whether one is aware of it or not. If one admits they sin they are admitting to choosing the world in some area. It may not be on a television screen or coming from speakers but it's somewhere

    When I received faith I completely deleted my playlists and replaced them with Christian alternatives. It is not difficult. Let your sinful pleasures be a sacrifice for God.

  • @kikikaakau-delizo8152

    Your questions are indicating that you PURPOSELY choose to listen to or watch or do things that you KNOW go contrary to what God wants for you. If you purposely choose those things, obviously you'll be facing negative consequences.

    Wearing a cross or even being baptized does NOT make a person a true Christian. One must LIVE Christ!
