  • Poor planning on my part has resulted in the need to move an established plum tree. There is not part of my personality that would consider just cutting it down because it's in the way. Instead, I'll have a go at moving it to the spot I should have put it in the first place years ago.
Nights and Weekends Homestead opening and closing theme music is, "Tupelo Train," by Chris Haugen. This video also features, "Sunshing On Sand," by Unicorn Heads and, "Wishful Thinking," by Dan Lebowitz.
Homesteading how-to for regular people who don't want to disconnect from civilization but still want to be a little more self-sufficient, and reconnect with a simpler life.

It's probably dead. Lol. He should keep the surrounding dirt with it

Why do TH-camrs take 30 minutes to explain what should be explained in a minute or less!? I don’t care to watch you work!

Or live your life! I have my own life to live. 18 minutes to each TH-camr is RIDICULOUS! I fast forward and skip entire videos when I feel there’s no knowledge being gained. Just stooooopid background music and watching a man play with himself in his garden. . . 🪴

I would dig a trench around the tree before actually digging it out

That's what I did, but because I wasn't certain, I thought of checking out a youtube video on trasplanting a tree. I removed a lot more of the existing soil attached to the roots, which makes me a little better about its chances of surviving.
