Love you Sheryl Crow ! You are a TOTAL CLASS ACT ! Very heartfelt acceptance speech! "Every day is a Winding Road "....Very unselfish giving credits to your manager , lawyers , agent ! Very touching about how proud or your 2 sons . Your duet with Stevie Nicks was engaging ! Your songs like " Soak Up the Sun " have such easy- going positive lyrics captured by your outstanding guitar playing . Another son g " If it Makes You HAppy ..It Can't be that Bad " .. deals with accepting yourself and not succumbing to other negatives ! You are a true survivor overcoming Breast Cancer ! Very righteous that you got in on your first year of eligibility !
Sheryl is mucho talented and handled herself with grace and humility! Love her music, all of it! There is a reason she collaborates with so many music legends, she will stand next to them some day!

Missy Elliot is in the hall of fame ahead of Boston three dog night the Crue. Just shows how the hall of fame doesn’t care about rock and roll.
YES ! Boston helped usher in the genre of 80s Power Ballads ! It is fraudulent that many of these Hip -Hop / ' artists ' get in so soon ! I would also include FOREIGNER with that group ! They sold over 40 million records ! Their album Foreigner 4 is one of the top selling albums of the 80s . Three Dog Night also sold over 30 million records ! They had true song-writing talent and their harmonies were very tight ! They didn't use profanity , violence , mysogny like most of those Rap / Hip-Hop cretins ! Fun fact " Three Dog Night comes from a term Australian Aboriginies would say when they had a Cold Night in the Outback that would need that many dog/ coyote pellets to keep warm.! The inducction of Motley Crue is more questionable . The lead singer Vince Neil and Tommy Lee have been charged with multiple felonies . Sadly , Vince Neil got a DWI for striking and killing another driver way back . He has gone thru rehab a few times to his credit . Sebastian Bach of Skid Row joked that the band members were able to got thru Customs at Canada entry points despite wearing high heels and crazy outfits , I actually met Vince at a Garth Brooks in MPLS circa 2012 .. Kind dude..

Face it the "Rock and Roll Hall of Fame " has outlived it's purpose. Rock and roll is just too narrow of a definition, God I wish rock could last forever, but it can't music is continuseliy evolving what l love is in the past thank god l still have the vinyl.

I’m a fan of Missy Elliot, and that is completely true. I would add that Dolly Parton doesn’t, either. Don’t get me wrong, I’m from Tennessee and I absolutely LOVE Dolly Parton, but there is nothing rock ‘n’ roll about her at all. She’s country as a butterbean! ❤ We have to take it all with a grain of salt, though. Everyone knows that the R&R Hall of Fame lost their way a long time ago.
Ridiculous Missy Elliott in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame she's a rapper has done nothing for Rock & Roll. OK well i want Iron Maiden in the Hip Hop hall of fame.

Who the hell decided to have Adem Levine and Carrie Underwood sing George Michael songs? One of the greatest voices and they sounded like bad karaoke. Carrie Underwood adds zero life into any covers she sings. 😢
