Mileage Test: Nissan Magnite AMT First Drive Experience w/ Quick Real-world Fuel Efficiency Check

- October 2023: Team V3Cars shares the fuel efficiency report of the Magnite AMT in this video after driving it in Chennai.
The Magnite AMT is available with a 1.0L naturally aspirated petrol engine, paired with either a 5-speed manual transmission or a 5-speed AMT. It’s also available with a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine.
We are testing the Magnite NA with the 5-speed AMT, and this powertrain churns out 72PS of power and 96Nm of torque. Nissan is yet to reveal its claimed fuel efficiency.

Good thing about Nissan magnite and Renault kiger is that the mileage shown in the infotainment system is almost close to real world mileage. And this helps the driver to easily understand what he/she needs to work on

I can confirm that on non turbo model also displayed fuel efficiency is correct, I tested couple of times and got similar results

The Turbo CVT is the ideal variant. 1L NA is underpowered.

Why you have not considered punch in comparison
Magnite-Kiger the Only engine which is worth investing is 1.0 TC. But that too offers high NVH levels. When revved hard it becomes Noisy. Other thing I hate seeing in the Car is that 1980 dandiwala inside door locks in 2023.
Incase if Nissan-Renault wants to survive they should also offer the same with better Quality Premium interiors as different lineup.
Otherwise Tata Bye-bye from India as Sales nos. are declining fast against Punch, Exter, Ignis, Fronx,......

@@onesujeet why should we compare it with BMW when our Local Cars are offering the best. Maruti Cars were offered with dandiwala door locks in 80s. Of you are happy buy BMW non of us will stop you from buying BMW. Congratulations & all best for operating those dandiwala lock of B Cars.

They sell 2000+ cars every month. Hardly any money goes into advertisement. Price point is great. They're not going anywhere.
