I've always wondered how these things worked. All I know is that it's a single action otf but there no put to push up like on other otf knifes like a switch, this is just a button you press down and it shoots up and press down to make it fall back in. I've be trying to research this thing for a Long time. It's so rare and fascinating.
I just bought one of these. I have a big passion for switchblades especially Italian ones and I’ve honestly never seen anything like this one. The price was well worth it at least to me. I’m guessing these are pretty rare?
Had one of these when I was at high school in the UK 13 years old but it got confiscated and I never seen it again. I'm 66years old and still wish I had it.😢

@@JACOPO.OFFICIEL thanks for the info. I just purchased a trapdoor that looks exactly like yours with the same marking "inox depose". Was told it was made in Maniago in 1962 by Rosa Unliana Primo. No one in any forums mention what "depose" meant on the blade.
i hope these knives are worth the big money you have to spend on them to get your hands on one of them . i just bought one for almost 700.00 and i am waiting for it to come in the mail . what is your opinion of them?
Yes if they are in good condition they are worth it. There are very few left for sale.. and only few thousands were made in late 1950s early 1960s (many got broken.......)

Can anyone tell me what depose means? I know "Inox" means stainless steel in Italian but can't find anything about "depose".
"déposé" is in *french, generally you'll see "marque déposée" which means = registered trademark.
