Spring work is in full swing in my garden. Even before the snowfall, I pruned fruit trees and shrubs, shot several videos on this topic and will monitor the development of plants - a report in autumn.
It's time for the treatments. The first in line for me is the spring eradication treatment of the garden in March from pests and other pathogens. This year, I decided to process it on the advice of blogger @ivan_russkikh with a burgundy mixture. How to make a Burgundy mixture? Its recipe is quite simple, and the effectiveness, according to experts, is quite high.
If you need to get 10 liters of the mixture (or so), then I take:
1. 7 liters of water
2. 1 liter of milk
3. 250 (up to 500) grams of baking soda (can be calcined). The more soda, the reaction with MK will proceed more calmly.
4. 250 ml of liquid soap.
5. From 100 to 300 grams of copper sulfate. Accordingly, we will get either a one percent or 3 percent solution of the drug. The concentration is selected based on the goals of processing and the level of "neglect" of the garden. The vegetation phase of plants is not an unimportant factor. For dormant kidneys, 3% is possible, for swollen ones no more than 1%. It is also necessary to take into account the fact that not all copper sulfate will dissolve in water (if you do not wait for time to dissolve it). I took 250 grams of copper sulfate, this is something average, and I did not dissolve 50 grams of vitriol.
Mix the first 4 components, pour into a sprayer. Next, add a solution of copper sulfate and quickly close the lid. A reaction will begin in the tank with a large release of gas. Processes plants. I treated almost all the plants in the garden, naturally I changed the concentration of MK, because the buds on honeysuckle and currant had already hatched.
Instead of or together with copper sulfate, iron sulfate can be used, the main thing is to observe concentration. For example, instead of 200 g. MK can take 100g. MK and 100 gr. LCD. With this solution, I treated gooseberries, on which moss and lichen appeared.
