It’s traction max and min is in fact better than the regular Yosemite, which is already very good for the class. The two values that rockstar used to make it “drifty” was the sharp steering lock and low speed traction loss multiplier. So you have to work hard to kick the ass out and then somehow lose half your speed, and manage a very sharp turning radius.
Man... D tier is such a throwback for me. Reminds me of muscle races in the old NoDo PC days before the Sabre Turbo Custom, and even for some time _after_ the Sabre Turbo Custom when almost every muscle race had "no sabre turbo custom" put in chat in the lobby screen. Such good times. I really miss it On the Greenwood, not only does it have 3 gears, it does NOT have the close ratio gearbox flag, so 1st gear is so short it'll basically never be used in a lap and then there's a vast chasm between 2nd and 3rd. It's baffling to me that they added that flag, seemingly specifically for cars with 2 or 3 gears, and then they keep adding cars with 2 or 3 gears and NOT that flag. My favourite muscle car is so hard to pick. I adore the driving experience of the Tampa and Sabre Turbo and if I were to pick one to drive around in freemode it'd probably be one of those, but I love racing the Blade (at least back in the days when it was a competitive top pick). The monster acceleration is just so much fun. Also the Slamvan has a special place in my heart. It's complete and utter garbage but a field of them racing is surprisingly good fun (especially if you know how to brake in it and can make crazy overtakes into corners ;) ). Also special shoutout to the Vamos because it's just really funny to drive in freemode and looks pretty sick with the right mods
I love the Greenwood, it just handles so well and easy to correct once it starts drifting, so underrated too. The ones you mentioned and the Tulip/M-100 Tulip is real nice too.
I have it next to my Phoenix is my airport garage. Both cars are so fun to cane around the south half of the city with jagged intersections and dancing between fixtures.
Amazing testing, as always Broughy. Favorite of mine is The OG Dominator. Stole one off the street in the tutorial, and had no Idea it was the top Muscle at the time (until you told us). Never stop testing. You're the best. See you in GTA VI.
Hot take: I love driving the Vamos. Not because it handles well, but rather I enjoy it because it has a unique character to it. I wouldn't choose it in a race but I would choose it to drive around the city.
Still can't beat some of the OG muscle cars on my favourites list. The PS3-era days when my GTA Online garage consisted of a Dominator, Ruiner and Sabre Turbo are still some of my best memories with the game.
Awesome video Brough! So thankful that you're keeping this kind of in depth content coming and up to your standards! As for my favourite muscle cars: when it's down to looks, I gotta give it to the Beater Dukes with the Impaler a close second. To drive... definitely harder... I'd say either the Gauntlet Hellfire or the crazy Weevil Custom. Guess it really depends on the day :D
Same here. Blackfin looks, sounds and drives like a true muscle car. It love it 😊 Also, Phoenix is just fun when you want to drive like an idiot in a 70s movie, that tail will go all over the place. Every time I steal one in the streets, I go bonkers and start doing powerslides in every corner.😮😂
Once again, we appreciate your commitment to testing these cars, especially my favorite class. Shame that my favorite car, the Dominators aren’t beating HSW tuned muscles, but I’m fine with the GT going head to head with the STX.
I'm loving the new tier system. Mind you I didn't even bother upgrading the Arbiter GT to HSW I've driven both hsw and non and I have an easier time handling the arbiter without HSW.
Crazy to say but the HSW Arbiter GT is my favorite muscle car rn, it has so much power and slides very easily... but it feels like what a powerful muscle car should feel like and its fun
I wish they would come out with a Gauntlet Hellfire Custom, so we can get more customization options for that thing, like ram scoops and race vents, or Intake/headlight combo instead of having to choose one or the other. Hell, they should come out with an Imani Tech version, I'd buy a few of those in a heartbeat.
Been looking forward to this one! I wanted to know if in the current version of the game The Cheeky Weevil was still the fastest 'normal' car in the game, in terms of top speed. Thanks for the testing.
I have a real soft spot for the Eudora. The graphic designers truly outdid themselves, it's beautiful and (and quite detailed!) inside and out. Mine has merged Benny's wheels, and I couldn't imagine it without those thin whitewalls. On the other end of the spectrum, I _love_ the HSW Vigero ZX for exactly the reasons described in the video. You point in where you want to go, floor it, and pray you make it through any corners you might encounter. It is a wild beast and trying to tame it is very rewarding as driving experiences go.
My fave GTA muscle car is the Greenwood because its IRL counterpart(Dodge Monaco/Plymouth Gran Fury) was ubiquitous in the background of loads of films and shows from the late 70's-early to mid 80's. Usually as cop cars, but sometimes as bad guy getaway cars. Hot Wheels also made an unlicensed model, and I had several versions of it as a kid.
What I drive the most is the Duke O Death, best combo of fun to drive and heavily armored so that is probably my favorite car in the game over all at this point.
The legend, the myth, is back! Love your videos as always and you did a perfect job on this one as well. I love the new intro where you show the track in F1 style. The 2024 season officially starts this week as well, cheers!
Somewhat bummed that the Yosemite has surpassed the long-time "big 4" group of former top muscles, but I guess the Drift Yosemite is worthy of replacing that legacy.
my favourite muscle car to drive is the Tulip M-100 at the moment, it has a really good balance between grip and power. favourite looking will always be the Gauntlet Classic, since the 70-71 Challenger and Baracuda are my favourite muscle cars of all time
I love the look and sound of the Deviant, but I want a Lost Slamvan so badly. It is so frustrating that Rockstar made it nearly impossible to obtain in game.
The Dominator ASP and Ruiner ZZ-8 are my favorites, because of the 90’s aesthetics and I always loved the body style of those years. Plus they were technically competitors at the time which makes it even better to have both in game. I just wish the ZZ-8 had a little more power with performance to better replicate its real life counterpart.
I think my favorite classic muscle car is gauntlet classic custom.. it has the best combination of top speed, fun to drive, and looks.. and my favorite modern muscle car is the vigero zx non-HSW again for its combination of top speed, fun handling and i think it’s one of the meanest looking modern muscle cars in the game
It's still insane how many muscle cars there are in the game but at least there's not over 100 (just yet). I do enjoy a ton of muscle cars but my favorite one is the Sabre Turbo Custom. The Sabre Turbo was actually the first car I ever owned with how cheap and easy it was to obtain and the Benny's version just made it even better in terms of looks and the fact that it was one of four cars that used to be at the top of the class but they all still pack a punch. I'll probably be the first to ask this: what is your favorite muscle car, Broughy? Is it still the Piswasser Dominator or has it now been dethroned by something else?
Thank you broughy for all that testing work and interesting pointers! During reorganizing my car collections I understood that the unconditional love I have for two of my muscle cars is still truer than it is with any other in the classs. Sabre Turbo without Benny's upgrade and it's the first ever car I owned in GTAO that I've kept that has a unique number plate because of it. The other one is the Nightshade which I adore as well. From the more recent cars I really enjoy the Impaler LX because my brother owns a plain white Caprice IRL and it's nearly identical in the game, so bit of an odd pick I guess. Earlier muscle was better though, the original Dominator is still super nice to drive and there are others from that time. I also have a soft spot for the Vamos but I rarely drive it because she's loco 😆
Buffalo Stx. It looks and sounds awesome and has the imani tech upgrades for armor and missile defense. Unless you're a moron, you won't die while driving this in Freeroam. I'd go to the Vigero Zx if PC would get the Hsw upgrades *SADFACE*
My favorite muscle car is still the Pisswasser Dominator. I like the way it looks and drives. But I do enjoy driving all muscle cars. It's my favorite class.
I'd love it if they had released a hardtop version first, like the Vigero ZX... What is it going to be named if the convertible version has already taken the base name, since R* never retroactively rename vehicles for consistency?...
@@NatureXwars Agreed. I actually love having the top up so a hard top would be lovely as default. Maybe have the top down for a roof customizable option at LSC.
Broughy videos: Always S Tier. 2nd for life, but S tier. As for the muscle car, I will take the Pisswasser Dominator, for the amazing price of Zero dollars.
I love the vamos it handles pretty much like an old chevelle that's fast but the handling is all over the place, as for the sabre turbo i remember buying it back in 2015 because it gave me vice city vibes
Favorite muscle car is a difficult question. I like the evx for pvp, i like the weevil custom because it's insane in every way and when it wheelies, it's super insane. I like the gauntlet custom because it's based on my favorite real life car...kind of. And i like the dominator gtt because 70s mustangs are under appreciated. I like the gauntlet hellfire because it's so fun to drive. But i think my favorite muscle car to drive overall is the coquette blackfin. It handles like a dream and feels faster than it is.
I don't really play GTAO (PC) anymore, but i've always been a fan of the Sabre from older games and Sabre Turbo in GTA V/Online when it comes to muscle cars. I like the handling, it's sound, it's decent speed when cruising around town and it looks great, absolute favourite muscle car. Even though i don't play anymore, these testing videos are still very enjoyable, thank you! :) Edit: Oh and of course visual customization of the Sabre is also not bad compared to some supersports cars where there is almost no customization, imo.
I'd pass over the Dominator GT for the Buffalo STX and the Vigero ZX, since the former has Imani Tech and the latter has HSW, making them generally more useful.
Broughy, Arena vehicle top speeds could be updated with shunt boost included. The Bruiser can go faster than an Oppressor mk2 in the air via shunt hopping.
The Primo Custom was based on an existing car, so for the part of the data that defines class (vehicles.meta) they probably just copied it from the existing Primo However the Moonbeam was new, so they probably copied from the other new cars which happened to all be muscle cars This kind of sloppy copy-pasting with consequences is all over this game
Gotta be the ASP, i adore that car, i once got 1st in the World for laptime on one of the Hockenheim layouts in FM7 with my very own purist style tune on a SVT Cobra R, me and that car in games go so far back, if its included in any form, it has a permanent spot in my garages as well as my heart. Love the Dominator ASP 😊

The irony of the drift yosemite having really good grip is certainly something
It’s traction max and min is in fact better than the regular Yosemite, which is already very good for the class.

Nothing says "muscle" like driving a Chevy Astro van.
When you lied in your resume but still got a job

can it perform a wheelie?
@@187Lausbubenbande yes and it's surprisingly good at it actually
Ahh the good ol Saber Turbo, a car that still is in my garage today along with the Dominator, Gauntlet and other older muscle cars.
Dude same. Love those original muscle cars just for the nostalgia

Brilliant work again Brough top class
Dominator GTT is my favourite muscle car in the game, modded mine to look like a Mustang Boss 302 🎉😊. Great video as always ❤
I have it next to my Phoenix is my airport garage. Both cars are so fun to cane around the south half of the city with jagged intersections and dancing between fixtures.
The spoilerless Phoenix is my fave…with a BANDIT plate ;)
I like the fact that the Picador is no longer the only 4wd muscle car
Is it? I never knew that. I'll have to test that out now.
@@medmuscle yep. 40/60 split front/rear. The other one is the Buffalo EVX which has a 30/70 split front/rear

Somewhat bummed that the Yosemite has surpassed the long-time "big 4" group of former top muscles, but I guess the Drift Yosemite is worthy of replacing that legacy.
Yeah one Yosemite left and another entered!
Probably a rather unpopular opinion, but I love Tulip M-100. It is so easy and fun to drift. Feels like an old-school style muscle car.
Hard to beat the good ole Chevy Malibus, love those cars.
my favorite used to be the sabre turbo, the it was the sabre turbo custum and now it is the dominator gtt
I absolutly ADORE the Dukes. How it drives, how it sounds, it's just a great, massively controlable car.
my favourite muscle car to drive is the Tulip M-100 at the moment, it has a really good balance between grip and power.
favourite looking will always be the Gauntlet Classic, since the 70-71 Challenger and Baracuda are my favourite muscle cars of all time
I love the look and sound of the Deviant, but I want a Lost Slamvan so badly. It is so frustrating that Rockstar made it nearly impossible to obtain in game.
Dominator ASP.
great sound, accelleration, and iconic styling makes for a pretty sweet driving experience.
man, i love the weevil custom. truly a funny car to mess around with, the high top speed alone usually confuses my friends when cruising.
I’ve have a soft spot for the Blade. One of the first muscle cars I bought, and won quite a few races in it back when it was new.
I personally love the Blade, especially its engine sound. That kind of low rev, chilly engine sound (the Lurcher also has a similar vibe to it)...
I think my favorite classic muscle car is gauntlet classic custom.. it has the best combination of top speed, fun to drive, and looks.. and my favorite modern muscle car is the vigero zx non-HSW again for its combination of top speed, fun handling and i think it’s one of the meanest looking modern muscle cars in the game
gotta give it to the arbiter gt, it's fast and drives horribly, just like a real muscle car
Should i buy it?
Another video, another time I say we really need interclass races. That could make things interesting for muscles and sports cars.
I appreciate you asking! Yeah I think I'd still go with the Pisswasser Dominator. A lot of "close seconds" though.
1:42 rockstar should have made the arena vehicle race able so we can have our own “Deathrace” . Another missed opportunity from the arena war DLC
My man never fails to deliver, thank you as always, Brough
Great effort Dinmite!
o7
Buffalo Stx. It looks and sounds awesome and has the imani tech upgrades for armor and missile defense.
Unless you're a moron, you won't die while driving this in Freeroam.
I'd go to the Vigero Zx if PC would get the Hsw upgrades *SADFACE*
My favorite muscle car is still the Pisswasser Dominator. I like the way it looks and drives. But I do enjoy driving all muscle cars. It's my favorite class.
My favorite muscle car is the sabre turbo custom , always loved how it handled. And also hated how the pisswaser dominater handled
Impaler LX is a nice muscle car, making it my favorite of the bunch.
The new presentation style is really top notch. Keep up the great work, Adam.
Good old Dominator still getting good lap time after 10 ten years
I love the Dominator GT but shame it's more of a glorified sports car than handling like the Vigero ZX or Hellfire.
Yeah, I was also hoping for hardtop option like the RT3000...
Yosemite that little pickup with great acceleration and nice livery’s that’s all I need.
Muscle Hype!!! Of course the best is the Vigero. Great car.
Broughy videos: Always S Tier. 2nd for life, but S tier.
As for the muscle car, I will take the Pisswasser Dominator, for the amazing price of Zero dollars.
Love the dominator gtt. Feels amazing, good top speed, and looks great
My favourite muscle cars have to be the Nightshade or the Dominator GTT, absolutely love both of those cars for their looks and the way they drive
Edit: Oh and of course visual customization of the Sabre is also not bad compared to some supersports cars where there is almost no customization, imo.
Its sooo hard to pick just one , love the muscle cars xx
Love the dukes because it looks and handles beautifully.
Well we can't really race these cars in the air, in fact we can't race them at all.
@@gtdriver2416 true but he has fastest air vehicles vids ya know
Ruiner, really like driving that. Without turbo though, as the wheels spin out if I accelerate too fast.
3:45 But then again the Primo Custom was around at the time too, yet it is in sedans class. Rockstar is so confusing at times.
The Primo Custom was based on an existing car, so for the part of the data that defines class (vehicles.meta) they probably just copied it from the existing Primo
However the Moonbeam was new, so they probably copied from the other new cars which happened to all be muscle cars
This kind of sloppy copy-pasting with consequences is all over this game
@@Johnny362000 hmm that must be why.
I may go with the Phoenix, it sounds incredible and somehow gives me a realistic driving experience, lacking in customization but still looks great !
Ellie is a must have car for "gone in 60 seconds" races...
Hell yeah time to muscle it up
I really wished they made HSW for cars that are very slow in their class, instead of for car that were already high up
Gotta be the ASP, i adore that car, i once got 1st in the World for laptime on one of the Hockenheim layouts in FM7 with my very own purist style tune on a SVT Cobra R, me and that car in games go so far back, if its included in any form, it has a permanent spot in my garages as well as my heart. Love the Dominator ASP 😊
I will never sell my Phoenix because it was my characters first car (and where he slept until I got an apartment)
My fav muscle car is the arena Imperator cuz the supercharger sounds good, best sounding car in game and it goes 135mph and has nitrous.
I still like the Blade. It is easy to control and has good acceleration.
my favorite is definitely the Pisswasser Dominator. I won so many races with that car back on ps3... and ps4 afterwards... damn.
The Pisswasser Dominator doesn't exist on PS3
@@Johnny362000 lol wasnt really sure anymore... Only on ps4 then tehe ^^
I love my GTT (might have to get a gt) but its great at taking corners and is can manage a good top speed with curb boosts it looks great as well!
