it depends on the drawer system.. if yours is on wheels.. then there is usually a little tab at the front of the track that will release the drawer

Mine had tabs on each side of the track. They were clear plastic and hard to see against the silver track. Left side is pushed down, the right side is pushed up and with a bit of wiggling, my drawer finally came out. P.I.A!

See above about the tabs!! Push down left and up on right and the drawer releases!! My tabs are black, person above said clear tabs.
