It is impossible to make a dog become calm

- For anyone who is finding my 'Amichien bonding' for the first time, here we can see that traditional ways of working with dogs cause the problems.
Once we adopt my method we take the pressure off of the dog and it is able to relax.
This also shows how we let the dog work things out for itself by using 'consequence of actions'
How did they name such a beautiful dog, Death?! What an amazing transformation. I’m living proof that this method works. I can’t have a dog now, because I live in a top floor flat, but years ago I had three, who would take any opportunity to run away, and although they were sweet, would jump up at anyone who came into the room. With a bit of consistency, no talking to them or eye contact from anyone every time we came in or out, we calmed the situation down. But the key is consistency, them knowing that no matter what ritual they conjure up, it’s going to be ignored. It’s a bit controversial, and the in-laws took a bit of convincing because ignoring a dog sounds a bit rude, but it really works. Whenever you walk in a room with a dog, or leave, don’t talk to the dog. Thanks so much Jan, your method is beautiful and really helped our little pack. RIP Tofi, Fudj and Dino.
The lady was Portuguese and it was spelled Def. A little better.

How long is the period when he is taken out of the room?
A couple of minutes each time and it all took less than an hour, from them on he just relaxed quickly and as his owners carried on with the method they all benefited.

Simple and effective. The transformation is touching, a balm for every dog owner's heart. Thanks for sharing, even more so as this clip was not included in the dvd if I'm not mistaken. ❤
You are right but as people are finding my method all of the time and the DVD was produced 17 years ago, it may help those new to AB find this calm, peaceful and effective way of working with our dogs. I know that it always made me emotional when these such troubled dogs just let it go and I even felt pride in having discovered a way to communicate with them.
I SO miss this series.
