6:19 i really like the rug from warewolfs I use it in almost every build and it would fit very well in this build too!

About the bathroom outside, it is not unusual for there to be an outhouse for the toilet for a countryside summer house like this in Sweden. Usually in red matching the cottage. Bathtub I'm less sure of, but I think because we usually bathe in the ocean or a lake nearby it's less necessary. There might be an outdoor shower by the cottage though. Although these things are true more for older and/or way in the middle of nowhere houses

what a cozy build :) reminds me of my grandma's cottage! and I loved the mismatched wood and colors, feels like when you're renovating your flat and have some furniture you don't want to keep but also don't want to throw them out, so you just chuck them over to the cottage:)) but I totally understand why you unified the colors a bit! 🥰

i think having a toilet outside would be a nightmare in real life, but in the sims it works! i absolutely love the shed, so glad you decided to keep it, it's so cozy!

I doubt it's a nightmare, people used to live this way for ages

Last year I met a lady who had a weekend cottage like this, she had the toilet outside, no walls, only nature covering it hahaha it was fine :)

I have a request, could you possibly save your smaller builds as rooms instead of whole lots? Some of your builds are so fantastic that I'd love to combine them, but I am a terrible builder so trying to copy multiple builds into a lot its extremely difficult. If not thats fine, but it would make it much easier to combine some of your creations into really neat lots!

I understand what you mean and I always try to do that when possible, but even the smaller builds would mostly be divided into several rooms/parts. This one for example would be divided into front garden, porch, living area, shed and back garden area. It also does not save the roofs and deletes the pillars in the corners. We desperately need a new way of saving builds aside from full lots and rooms ..
If you really want to combine different builds, I would place them on an extra lot and save the individual parts as rooms. This way you know how to reassamble them. I know this is not a real solution, but I think it's the best option here.

Wow, your builds are incredibly creative. I barely noticed that I sat through a whole 15 min video with full interest, you just got my whole attention with this one :) I also have a little question, if you don't mind me asking. I'm really curious - where do you get your ideas from? Your builds are really interesting and I wonder whether you just come up with these or do you have a source of inspiration.
Also! Don't worry about your voice in this video, to me everything sounded alright!

      Thank you!
Sometimes I see houses or other stuff in real life that inspire me. Sometimes it's a build by someone else. Sometimes it's concept art, movies or music. I often have random general ideas for builds that I try to implement (Which doesn't always work xD). For this build I drew inspiration from the houses I saw in Sweden and some reference pictures. So I would say that most of the time it's a combination of more than one source. :)
