    Fury has never wanted Usyk or AJ. The opportunities have been there and Fury has always played hardball. It speaks volumes that AJ/Usyk had a much easier time getting made.
    Its becoming more obvious that Fury is nowhere near his peak. He's taken so much damage inside and outside the ring. *So* *much* *damage* .
    If he does fight AJ, Fury is going to be embarassed.

    Frank stated Fury would not be ready for the Usyk rematch until Dec. So how is he going to be ready for Joshua in September.??? He signed a contract with the Saudi's for the rematch.
    Joe, you still seem to be under the delusion that Fury is Captain of his OWN WEE BOAT, He sold out his soul to the Saudi's THEY tell FURY what to do, how to do and when to do.

    I don't see Fury - Usyk being called off due to contractual agreements nor do I see Dubois - Joshua being called off. We shall see.....

    • @DrRepper
      @DrRepper 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I can: Fury can decide he doesn't want it. Spencer Brown has said it's signed, but then he also said Usyk had a broken jaw, and nobody else has. Dubois v Joshua hasn't been confirmed, so no contract there. If Fury pulls out of the Usyk fight, it's overwhelmingly likely that Usyk will vacate. That means Parker, Dubois and of all people Manuel Charr get to become full champions, while Fury and Joshua get to fight fir the vacant WBC belt at Wembley, which is a colossal earner for everyone concerned. Fury loses to Usyk again, ESPECIALLY if he gets chinned, and that fight loses its luster, as well as Fury potentially losing his #2 WBC ranking. Even if the rematch is signed, there's very little that can't be undone with a few quid in a manilla envelope. This is boxing, remember...

  • @garibaldi54
    @garibaldi54 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

    If Fury is going to risk losing again he's not going to do it without the chance of winning belts. Fury wants to be champion again. If he beats Joshua he's not going to get the same credibility. He has a better chance against Usyk than Joshua. Joshua will spark him out, he's bigger and stronger than Usyk. Its better to have been beaten twice by one man who is considered a goat than to lose to 2 different men.

    Regarding Fury fighting Usyk again:
    I don’t think he’s scared (weary yes) but I definitely think it’s less attractive to him because he’s lost all his bargaining chips with Usyk in terms of his purse size.
    On the other hand, he now has some serious bargaining power over AJ.
    Using his own deluded rhetoric he can now say:
    “I deserve more because I only lost once to the rabbit but you’ve lost to him twice so I deserve more”.
    😀

    Thanx Joe (& Subbed! 👊 ): I'd love to see this 👆 fight, and you make a good case for it here... I just think that, (again sensing how Fury's mind works): He's prob. *also* Terrified of Losing to *Both* these 2 Guys! Remember his face, when AJ absol. annihilated Nganou, right in front of him?!... Many, (including myself), have AJ as favourite vs. Fury - and I wouldn't be suprised if Fury himself has severe doubts on this fight too... 🙏 My 2 cents anyway... Tnx again, Bobby 🥊

    I don't mean to sound like a hater but fury will only have a rematch if he knew he could win, he faced chisora plenty of times and wilder in rematches because he knew they were winnable fights but usyk I think he knows if he goes in there again and loses even worse than the first time then his excuses are dead in the water and I think fury would rather face Joshua and try and win that fight to then go on and say well I beat usyk everyone knows I beat usyk so I'm the undisputed champion without the belt and then he'll spring this bs of oh I don't need the belts ect I held them all separately anyway at some point lmao 🤣

    Joe! I like the way you’ve pitched this video. I wish there was very clear rulings by the governing bodies, about process and procedures, so TH-camrs like yourself don’t need to speculate on your instinctive, feelings, and suspicions , but quote the regulations and laws by the governing body, which the fighters and promoters can’t override! Otherwise unhelpful narratives are spun, which brings a lot of discredit and legitimacy to the sport of boxing, like being in the territory of the Wild West!

    I honestly don’t think Fury DOES believe that he can beat Joshua though.
    I just see it in his face when Joshua is brought up in interviews
    And especially in the MANNER he conducted getting the fight done before going into Chisora 3
    It was THEN that I realised that Fury isn’t at all confident he beats Joshua
    “MONDAY ….MONDAY….MONDAY is the DEADLINE”
    I actually believed he would beat Joshua until the past 2 years. I think his era has surpassed Fury now to be totally honest.
    You just cannot continue to remain at any level without physical discipline. Not going into the second half of your thirties. Just can’t be done without discipline.
    All his peers are VERY disciplined.
    Joshua beats Fury in September if it happens.
    The fight is over in ky opinion. That was ALWAYS my one major favourite fight over the past 8 or 10 years as well.
    The Saudis came to the party a tad too late in my opinion. As far as signature fights for this ERA is concerned at least
    Tho I DO really like the Joshua Dubois fight though.
    I want to see Parker!! There doesn’t seem to be a PATH for Joe right now and it’s wrong man. !!

  • @jondealey3643
    @jondealey3643 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Not sure he will fight Joshua in September to short notice. He has been offered written contract to fight Joshua firstly when he came out of retirement in 2018 Hearn offered him a 3 fight deal then in 2019 at Wembley when wilder turned that down. The other offers everybody is aware of. If he does fight Joshua it won’t be in September. I think he will take a tune up fight like he did after the Wilder draw. The main reason he won’t fight Usyk is he will get a lot less money. He will get injured pull out which will nullify the rematch clause and then it won’t be his fault.

    This is hard to believe although he would make more money against AJ than his rematch against Usyk.
    Fury could fight AJ without different training. Fury will not beat Usyk with the same trainer, Sugar Hill.
    If Fury fights Usyk, he needs to have Peter Fury train him in order to have a reasonable chance to defeat Usyk.
    I had Usyk winning the May fight 115-112.

    A natural super heavyweight with a 40 lb advantage should have EASILY beaten a 35 year old bulked up cruiserweight weighing 30 lbs over his prime career weight.
    Fury should have been able to KO/TKO Usyk by the 2nd round. The fact that he couldn't just shows what a 2nd rater he actually is.
    Fury's career success owes more to his extreme size advantage and the scarcity of big men and big man talent in the division than anything else. If Fury had to fight parity size fighters from the beginning, as they do in all other divisions, his career would have been over after the usual 5-6 pro fights. He's a carnival act. Full stop.
    *the HW division needs a cut off weight at 240 or 250 lbs. Let the oversized freaks have their own division of 240/250 and up so we can disregard their talentless asses. They can call it Carnival Weight division.
    A hall of fame great like Mike Tyson would have needed a step ladder to reach Fury. Both a prime Mike and a prime Ali would have been outweighed by 50 lbs or more. It's ridiculous.
    Ali weighed 206 lbs when he fought Liston and became champion.

    I think Fury fears Usyk, and is right to do so. He knows Usyk is the real deal, in a way a cherry picker such as himself can never be. Usyk has destroyed top UK heavyweight boxers one after another, and caused both Joshua and Fury to melt down publicly in a most humiliating fashion. Usyk will be a name that haunts UK heavyweights and their promoters for a long time to.come......

      Before anyone jumps on me, no aj isn't better than usyk, but the punch power of aj coupled with the intelligence of his corner compared to the absolute calamity of fury's, aj smashes him up. Fury won't be able to bully aj in a clinch, and he doesn't have the movement anymore to avoid a clean shot. The only chance he'd have against aj is to keep him at full reach and jab ajs head off and win on points. BUT...aj has a way of getting in range to land that right hand, the way he crosses over their feet on the outside with his left foot when he delivers that punch helps him get in range quick and deliver crazy power. Fury can't avoid that for 12 rounds

    Much respect to british fans - the infrastructure for huge boxing fights and their support is great in Britain. However, my personal observation: british fighters tend to fight much more numbly to pain and damage, have noticably better stamina and energy when they are doing it in GB. I may be wrong, but there is some sort of shady doping practice going on.
    In order not to accuse anybody, for international fighters it is much safer to fight somewhere on a middleground overseas, where both fighters do not have the privilege of a shady home treatment.
